Welcome to South America, we have:
- Core everything as Paraguay
- Core everything as Argentina
- Core everything as Chile
- Core everything as Brazil
- Zero Effort Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia and Peru or overall DLC outside of Focus Icons
Lies... Bolivia got tons of national spirit that only make you avoid them now, Peru got the best of the DLC, Ecuador got an extra state, Venezuela got a decision where they can get blockaded even when they no longer exist (patched few days ago), only poor Colombia got nothing, not even a railway
As a Peruvian Sejo is right we got such a w if you combine Gran Colombia w Peru-Bolivian Conf, still hoping for a focus tree

I did a little bit of digging and I found this: The symbol on the Free Welsh is called the "Yr Eryr Wen" (The White Eagle). The white eagle in reference is the mythical "Eryri" eagle, an eagle that is said to descend from the mountains of Wales to protect the Welsh people. The Welsh king Owain Glyndwr adopted the animal into his regalia as a white eagle with spread wings on a green shield. This modern version was designed by Welsh nationalist Harri Webb and meant to invoke similar imagery. A nationalist group, the Free Wales Army adopted the modernized version in the 60s.
As to why its in Bosnia... I have no clue.
You know what other country has a white eagle as its symbol? That's right: Serbia, thus conclusively proving that Wales is rightful Serbian territory.

0 is the core pop for every country.
Releasing a nation from your cores removes your cores. There are multiple countries that can core the world, so every country in the world can release that country from their own and give up all their cores.

@@m3mzh Exactly. So for example Japan gets conquered and cored by Slovakia. Another country releases Japan from Slovakia, meaning Japan exists with it's cores also cored by Slovakia. Japan then releases Slovakia (or returns cores), removing all of Japans cores from existence.
The welsh fascist flag is a flag used by welsh nationalists called the free wales party in the 1960s

Now the Minimum
The symbol is "Yr Eryr Wen" or "The white eagle" the "Free Wales Army" flag, a group from the 1960's (So not really appropriate for hoi4) who wanted to be like the IRA but advocating for Welsh independence instead of Irish unification, they didn't really amount to much but they did have planned terrorist attacks, they weren't really fascist even though their leader was far right (Mainly because of his time in the army fighting communists).
Maybe the real core was the population we made along the way

Brazil's name and flag being communist regardless of the actual ideology is because for some stupid reason they decided to make separate formables for each ideology's "unite latin america" focus as if they aren't all basically the same thing. They gave so little fucks or were just so stupid that they inadvertently gave themselves *more* work needing to make separate formables and decisions for those formables.

That white Welsh symbol is the white eagle of Snowdonia, (y eryr wen). It's a symbol used by the free Wales army (FWA) which was founded in 1963, so I never understood why it's in hoi4.
It being the flag of Bosnia is likely a bug.

What I found most disappointing about the TOA DLC is how easily the developers assumed America could be cored or united. As a Latin American, it feels unrealistic to me. We might not go to war often, but the idea that a single focus or decision could instantly remove resistance feels overly simplified considering how easy is to do guerrilla warfare on the amazonas and mountains
There is literally an Italy who can unite french, belgians, dutch, austrians, yugoslavs, albanians, greeks, spanians, portugalians, turks, kurds and arabs and core them in a few clicks cuz there was an empire 2000 years ago.

To be fair I could see it (ignoring how other countries can core for less and they do have to make these nations fun) in like the democratic path, as uniting Latin America under a confederation makes more sense and the democratic one is more like a European Union, but it still applies for other ideologies, that’s why the formables aren’t just like Argentina, it’s South America

I'm still bitter that Paradox added Welsh Argentina instead of other south american releasable, like the rebel Brazilian break away states (Rio Grande, Grão Pará or the Equator Confederation) or Buenos Aires and other Argentine Provinces that were independent at one point or another, but no, the sparsly populated quirky welsh colony comes first

also, Bosnia is not the only country with completely made-up fascist flag; Serbia has some random guns and laurel wreath, instead of a historical flag of the Government of National Salvation, which resembles the flag of modern Serbia

@@sejozwak Why are you so salty? I do think that the focus trees weren't that bad, but the industry and army trees were pretty lazy, since they just copied them. But I don't complain about every single detail just for the sake of it. Obviously there were many mistakes, but some of the trees were pretty creative and challenging. I have no idea what that has to do with AI, or me supporting anything I'm getting served, but if you enjoy HOI and are interested in south america and have enough money of course, then I wouldn't blame you for buying this DLC.

The fact that this country even exists in HOI4 is inconsistent at best or hypocritical at worst. By this reasoning Germany should be able to core some states in the USA, same with England, Poland, Spain, Ireland, etc. Germany should be able to Volga-Germany, France should be able to core Wallonia, Germany should be able to core mist of Switzerland, etc.
It makes no sense.

Patagonia basically means “big footed” (pata = foot , gon = superlative) in reference to the inhabitants that where sighted inland by Magallanes and Elcano in their antartic voyage. These inhabitants weren’t human and where in fact sasquatches/American gigantopithecus. These creatures bordered to the north with the Yahgan. Few know this but there was a whole community of them in the Yendegaia forests that the Celts fought a war of survival and conquest against. Therefore, and because there never was another human group inhabiting those lands, the welsh can actually call Y Wladfa their deserved second homeland.
