Another yummy pasta dish. I made the beef stroganoff pasta last evening didn’t have elbow pasta so used another small type of pasta. I made it using the stated quantities in your recipe list- there is only me that eats meat so there was loads. I put lots to freezer portioned out leaving two portions out. So pleased I left some out it was absolutely delicious- got a portion for tonight……. Yummy!!!!! Thanks Rik, I will give this one a go next.

That looks so tasty Rik, quick & easy to make, it’s quite unusual now to see chefs cooking with the farfalle shaped pasta - it was always my late daughter’s favourite type of pasta when she was little 🥰, she adored her bow pasta 🥰 🎀. Your creamy Alfredo sauce looks so yummy, especially with the addition of the red pepper flakes combined with the nutmeg & Italian herb blend, definitely another going on my ‘must make’ list! How funny is it, because that's what I'm making for supper in about 2 hours but never thought of using ground beef. Just perusing your recipes before going to work later on. And.... lucky me, I have all the ingredients. Yay LOL Thank you so much! 💐
You must have known Aldi here has the grated mozzarella on offer 😃👍🏻. My father used to make something that looked a lot like this when I was a child, but he made it with a roux and milk and I didn't like it. The cream looks a lot more enticing to me. I will give it a try.
Looks great and tasty - but as my wife won't eat pasta of any description, I'm wondering if this would work with rice substituting the pasta? What do you think chef?
Yeah, 'proper' Italian food is simple. I have a friend who's Italian and she always laughs when she hears of carbonara recipes that use cream, garlic, basil etc. She says it's best made with bacon and raw egg dropped on the pasta which is 'cooked' using a little pasta water. Parmesan is optional.
It's like when I was having a meeting over dinner with someone and they ordered the Fettucini a’la Arabiata and I ordered the same... but with Action Man bowtie pasta. And a pint of bitter.

I've realized besides the natural spices used, there's no addition of stock cubes. May I know why this is so?
