Richard and Larry have been arguing over lunch for 20 years.
And I'm here for it lol
They might as well be husband and wife.
Damn thats one long lunch.
47 years!
@@ghostface216 But did Larry tip? and was it a solo?
Larry has the most aggressive friendships... arguably the most sincere.
You know theyre good friendships when the person can tell you exactly what theyre thinking and give you a complete rash of shit
And then be fine a second later with the same attitude
Cailin Tamplin I wish I had a Larry in my life.
Dr. Richard D. Stiff I didn’t know that I knew this until I read that, that’s such a good way to describe it
Kind of represents Jewish culture.
Thought the first dude was his cousin
Do the Larry David: Start looking 75 when you're in your 40's, so when you get older all your friends will look old, but you'll always look the same.
FranLuthier I was just thinking this today 😂 he’s looked the same for forever.
Fucking dying 😂😂😂
@Jamie LMFAO, watch an episode from 4-5 seasons ago and then post your comment again! they are all ancient looking, BUT Larry the least as you can clearly see his neck and ALL GRAY! they are all very different age wise which is quite normal.
AND the show is no where near as funny since season 8 ended.
And especially after Bob Einstein has passed.
I would know, I was there since the beginning of the HBO special pilot!
Sorry guys, sad but true.
@Jamie I also stand by my comment, take it ez .
@Jamie no problem, cool.
Gotta love how Larry notices the little pathetic details in rich peoples lives like fake garbage cans
I know. His cousin’s wife is so smug.
So my ex had one that appears to be the same make and model of garbage can exactly. It works super poorly because you have to stuff the excess bag in a toothed ring designed to hold the bag in place. Whenever you take that shit out of there, it would always rip a hole in the bag. So I can see why they don't use it.
ALSO she gave me what appeared to be the old, beat up version of the same can, so the one her family actually used, but got rid of for looks reasons. It made the scene extra funny for me. An "Oops, it has a dent, so now it's entirely worthless to me." kind of rich people keeping up appearnaces sort of way to be.
@@CitrusTsunami so it rips the bag right and you understand why they don't use it? You don't seem to understand why they don't buy a normal garbage can that holds bags just fine 😂 what a long winded line of sh*t your explanation was lol
Back in the 60s, in my parents NYC apartment, we didn't even use liners in our garbage can, no one did! Little yellow can with chrome top. You'd press a little pedal with your foot to open it.
We had an elevator man, and a working fireplace but no AC in summer! Lead paint everywhere, too much steam heat, all for like $400/month, rent controlled.
"F you. I'm paying. Take this goddamn scone."
Men's true friendships are beautiful.
As someone who waits tables, I can testify that the, “F you, I’m paying” is very real and happens often.
My grandmother and father argue about that all the time lol
Me and my dad have almost came to blows over the check
@@chrispap4957 that statement made my day, thank you. 😅
@@chrispap4957 the way men are supposed to 😌
@@lewiskazinsky7334 thank god feminism came in, now you can have the pleasure of paying your own meal!
Much respect Larry for paying homage to the Funk man. Solid.
Yes
Every episode
I wonder if they sent Marty to China on purpose? Really too obvious, huh? Maybe he could die face down in a tub of chicken fat?
I think of him in China with hundreds of people around him, and he is telling them a joke.
@@MrJoeybabe25 CHYNUH
I've been in a few nursing homes and Larry's conversation with Richard is spot on what I see with old guys. They're aggressive with each other over simple shit, they change the subject often, and make fun of each other. But at the end of the day, they always say they'll see each other tomorrow. It's hilarious and adorable.
This is a lot of men in general 😂😂
yeah this isnt just for old men, almost all dudes are like this lol
I’m old and I approve this message.
Larry trying to keep a straight face saying "senile old man" is hilarious
It's the scone's fault
put it away
The amazing thing about this show is that if he started laughing, it would just fit right in. I still remember when Leon was talking about his Johnson touching the water larry can barely get his lines out and it just made the cut because it's how Larry always is lol.
That garbage can thing is the most 1st world thing I've ever heard of.
We've evolved so far we're beginning to devolve.
If they have a "show" garbage can, why not a "show" toilet? Need to take a shit? Do it in the pantry.
@@MrJoeybabe25 i just crackedtf up thank you for that 😂
personally ive been in some pretty upper class circles and a lot of millionaires homes but never met or known anyone who does this
@@paulalangadan8375 😁😁😁😁
The way Richard reacts when he pulls out the scone.. his face lol.
“Forget about it... I would never touch a scone.”
Who the hell eats a plain scone??? America has no clue about scones, they are ALWAYS eaten with condiments.
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO
@@cameronwallis7024 Who cares 😂 it’s food that your body will consume and then turn into logs of shit 😂 doesn’t really matter what you eat it with
That "ooohh" from Richard says it all when Larry pulls the scone out 🤣
@@BrandNewByxormao, and how he cocks his head to the side.
2:57 he almost cracked
This is one of my favorite Larry/Richard Lewis back and forth’s. RIP Richard thanks the the laughs
Larry judging Richard for making a mess when he eats, even though he just puked on his own shirt an episode ago.
Richard refusing to eat the scone because it would make a mess, then proceeding to hurl it at the door as Larry leaves.
This is why I love this show.
Such a beautiful way for LD to pay tribute to Marty Funkhouser, about how he loved scones.
It’s so sad when Richard said he’s in China 😓
His pastry of choice ❤ rip
"You know I don't like surprises!"
"Oh, shut up."
🤣🤣🤣
2:40 Richard Lewis is just naturally hilarious
“Forget about it... I would never touch a scone.” Lol Richard Lewis is the best
Put it away!
First we lost Funk and now Richard.
Did anyone realize that Richard was complaining about how scone breaks off in your hands and you have to vacuum it, but he throws the scone at the door when Larry walks out, thereby making certain that he has to vacuum.
😂😂😂😂😂
“It indicates that we know how to throw things out” 😂😂
I like how offended Richard is at the mere concept of a scone
"What are u a senile old man?!" Lmao
Well yes he is lol
@@marioescobar7767 I know its just how he says it makes me laugh lol
I love the defensive "NO!!" Richard throws back
“It’s the scones fault!”
It doesn’t help that Richards delivery sounds like he forgets his line until he starts saying it. I find it funny tho 😂
Richard holding that Sweater and saying thank you is the most wholesome thing in the world
This scenario where Richard wants to pay ahead of time, that is a true story.
Keeping your garbage in the pantry next to your food is the most vile place to put it next to inside your refrigerator.
I wish Funkman was there to weigh in on the scone debate. I miss him.
Yes. I could imagine the dialogue.
"Scones are FANTASTIC" would already make me laugh.
Me too 😭
Scones are supposed to be dry/hard. It's only a debate if you're an American, who is making a poor interpretation of one
0:32
You can see Larry breaking character haha, hilarious.
Misha Stone hes laughing so hard yeah nice catch
They use a bizarre word for this in Britain: 'corpsing'.
lol great catch
he actually breaks character all the time especially in the earlier seasons where there was barely even a script
RIP Richard Lewis 🕊️
Richard's character this season is the best it ever was lmao
"It's Castilian" "What is that, a soup?" *dead*
04:12 Love the thud the scone makes when colliding with the door, proving Lewis's point that it's dry.
right sounds like a baseball 😂
l love how they didn't even hide that Richard couldn't launch the scone that far. You can see the tissue hit the stair railing yet somehow it reaches the door in the next shot.
The noise the supposedly dry scone makes bouncing off the door is absolutely genius.
(Being British) The whole episode I was siding with Larry about the scones, then I hear that bullet bounce off the door 😂 floored me, I rewound that bit 5 times before I carried on!
Everybody knows, scones are _supposed_ to be dry. That's what a damn scone is. If you want a muffin, get a muffin, not a _scone._
RIP Little orphan Funkhouser😢
aaaaw..little orphan funkhauser 😭
my favourite funkman scene. little orphan funkhouser hahaha
and Richard 😢
I cant belive both richard and funkhauser are gone now 😥😥😥
I love how she knows Larry has pressed the garbage can pedal immediately and spins around saying "what's going on". Genius 😂
Gonna miss u richard 😢
"It indicates that we know how to throw things out," is an extremely underrated line. 😂😂😂
Rest in peace RL, what a legend
Here after the Richard Lewis news. What a loss: a man without whom this show would not have been the same. RIP funny man.
"What are you a senile old man?"
Yes!
Senile old man. 😂. In another clip, he asks if he’s 200 yrs old
I love it. At 2:58, you can tell that Larry is doing his best to hold back laughter. Love it.
RIP Richard Lewis
"oh shut up" to Richard killed me 😂. Makes such a big deal over a damn pastry. "I don't like surprises"
Larry is a genius - he is able to take mundane ordinary topics and turn them into the absurd which is what 99% of every day life consists of. Who would have thought scones and doodles could be so hilarious?
My life doesn’t consist of scenes lime this. These people are pedants.
Richard is so amazing at being annoying I swear 😂
Idk if it’s natural him or brilliant acting. Feeling the sweater and seeing where it’s from
RIP Richard Lewis, such a funny and wonderful comedian!
2:42 I love every scene when they’re together ! 😂😂😂
She sold that doodle like a doodle and when she got a doodle she gets upset. Nuts. Just nuts.
Doodles aren't doodles, garbage cans aren't for garbage, ambitious susan isn't lazy.
Makes me rage
She was pissed about the garbage can incident and it carried over to the doodle.
@@garykunsman448
It's all very female.
RIP Richard lewis 😢
The very first scene I watched with Larry and Richard. 4:10 perfectly sums them up together.
RIP Richard Lewis
The powder falls into the floor and you have to vacuum i mean who needs this shit ?! 🤣
"It indicates that we know how to throw things out"
RIP the legend
I dont know what peoples issues are. I am loving this season.
Me to, I dont get it either.
It's trendy to be a sensitive bitch, so they can't take the humor here.
its a brilliant season
Dude ignore those people. There’s an offended group every season this airs lmao
If you’re actual fans I’d say the disproved rate is extremely low. Possibly like 1-2%.
It's so good to me
He sounded like Jerry Seinfeld at 1:17. Anyone?
Yeah he morphed into Jerry for the end of sentence!
It's a jew thing
He sure did ... wow
He's always sounding like Jerry Seinfeld! 4/5 clips haha
I've noticed that a few times while watching the series! His voice will literally sound like Jerrys
“Castilian”, what is that, a soup?
😂😂
It reminds me when Jerry corrected Kramer after Kramer questioned what was “Burma”.
Kramer: “isn’t that the discount pharmacy”?
I love when J Peterman goes to Myanmar (which was Burma) and says it’ll always be Burma to him.
Rest in Peace Richard Lewis i know you passed away early just to be ahead of time in a better place a give your card so you can pay thanks King!!!
Larry could read me a diagnosis of Ebola and I’d still laugh.
"By the way what a sweater. You know I don't like sweaters but that's gorgeous." - He is literally wearing a sweater.
2:57 Larry can barely hold it back. It's millimeters from being an outtake.
Every single Lewis - Larry interaction is like that. They're always on the brink!
@@arup02 Yes. And it's great that David is willing to show the institution of friendship, if I may call it that, in all its ingloriousness. Why not, when he does the same thing with the rest of life, managing to make us laugh our guts out at the same time?
Literally every single person in Larry’s life gladly accepts or expects Larry’s money, except for Richard Lewis. His aggressive fighting to make sure he pays seems like just another friendship quirk/ego play, but most of, if not all, of Larry’s life is about his money and how people are trying to get a piece of it. I think it’s a sign that Richard is the only real friend he has.
He’s LITERALLY had fights with other people over who’s paying. Sure some have gladly accepted or expected but it was not literally every single person, enjoy your fantasy show.
@Tim McGowan Rosie O’Donnell bro do you watch the show😂
@@KobeLoverTatum literally calm down for a second
I love Larry and Richard together! They’re fantastic!
I need a showcan for my kitchen.
LD's friendships/relationships are exactly how me & my boys are with each other 😂 insane
RIP Richard Lewis 🙏🙏
I just knew Lewis was gonna hurl that scone at Larry.
LD and RL have got to be the most hilarious comedy team of all time. You can’t fake that kind of animosity.I’m convinced neither will die before the other to secure the last laugh
"scones are his pastry of choice." such a simple yet oddly poignant homage. rip funkman.
I absolutely would love to have this man anywhere in my life and just worship his way of thinking.absolutely hilarious
This show is basically one big confrontation
Every time I see Richard Kind I think of him as Paul on Spin City. Funny actor, love it.
Rip Richard Lewis
Best friendship ever.
I love how Richard won’t eat the scone for how much he doesn’t like cleaning up after, only to chuck it his door afterwards 😂
"What are you, a senile old man?"
"I give to a lot of charities, I don't tell everybody, you know..."
-Larry David as Larry David, written by Larry David, on his famous show.
Richard Kinds expressions 😂😂
R.i.P Richard Lewis 😞
Man, I'd love to know how it feels to comfortably insist on paying, knowing money's not an issue for me.
Larry and Richard, i would want to be like them when i'm 95 years old
"Oh what a pretty sweater!" took me out LMFAO
RIP RL!!!!
That ending argument is the most Jewish thing I've ever seen in all my life.
This show is brilliant. I don't know what everyone's problem is
Hey stfu . I don't need you
DobrePytanie they’re broken cranky disenchanted people.
@@Sadness57 ...... Problem?
DobrePytanie its liberal trash
James M don’t watch it then pussyboy
"I WOULD NEVER EAT A SCONE" HAHAHHAHA. WHY DID THAT FLOOR ME?! Omg. So good.
Lewis goes from lightly grasping the sweater to throwing the scone. LMAO
The man does a brilliant 'yuck face' lol
This Waiting For Godot remake is crazy.
“It’s like a buttermilk biscuit without the buttermilk.” That cracked me up for some reason.
I hope to grow old and have friendships like these
This guy needs to be in more episodes he’s awesome 👏
"It indicates that we know how to throw things out."LOL
Love your humor all of you!! You are best Larry!!
I love how Richard is melodramatic about scones, he’s become a crotchety man 🤣👌
Richard and Larry’s relationship is one of the best on the show
As someone from Spain, I would have never expected Larry David to know what Castillian is and how Zaragoza is pronounced.
Porque no? LD es un hombre muy inteligente y Zaragoza está conocido en el mundo
Its hilarious cause the way he said it is how we (mexicans) make a Spain accent when we make fun of the posh nature of spañards.
@@7ink3347 Never heard a Latino say before that we Spaniards sound posh
@@jmiquelmb most of us dont know the word posh
@@7ink3347 No, but you know the Spanish term. Pijo, fresa...
Always love Richard Lewis I saw him at Zanies in Chicago in the 90s he was pacing out in front back and forth smoking a cigarette. He was quite attractive at the time...
Cigarettes age people terribly
Richard Kind plays that character so great
they all look so much older this season, aged greatly but that's life and we love them all,
