Oh hell yes!!!!! Frankly i found one Mick Taylor solo sounds like all the others. Keith and Ronnie when they were on, would weave back and forth to where you couldn't tell who was playing what but it sounded fantastic. Most of Keith's really good songs, and he wrote nearly all their music, don't need a lead cause he wrote rhythm riffs.
Man, so 'Happy' that you chose this particular song to cover! I'm pretty sure it's responsible for some of my hearing loss. Would love to see you insert a cover of the searing lead towards the end of the song, that has to be a Keith overdub. Thank you for publishing these videos, a real treasure trove for Stones fans!
Mr62Lincoln I can see why there was confusion, but if I may help clear up the discrepancy, Ronnie melds to whoever he’s playing with, but maintains a little of his own style as well. During the Mick Taylor era, you could know who was playing what, because Keith and Mick’s relationship was essentially a tug of war for the spot light. However, Ronnie weaves with Keith, so he tends to use a lot of the Chuck Berry-esque licks that Keith is known for. In the ending overdub, listen to the hammer ons in particular, which sound as though they’re in the major scale. That sort of hammer on lick is a dead giveaway for Ronnie’s playing.
Fantastic job, thanks for showing this. Just shows Keith's brilliance!! They said Stones were giving their PUNK side on this album.......but this is just pure great RnR!
Who else loves this man's guitar 🎸
Fantastic! This track has some of Keef's best chordal riffing and sinewy licks ever. Thanks for taking this one on!
Can you tab this? Keith’s part is the best in this song, especially his heroin fuelled solo 😂 🎸

that's Ronnie at then end
@@walter770 Don't think it's Ronnie, you can hear his playing during the overdub; the overdub isn't his style, it's Keith's style of playing.
@JAB_TO I defer to you guys, it's Ronnie! :)
