For people wanting to play this game mode a few tips. Cover the map in radar or vision or else they can spawn beacons behind you. The assist drones can capture the ruins. Purple cloud will steal units who stay in it to long. Units next to resource boxes and scav construction printers can capture them. Air lift them back when able. They will res your units if allowed. You can pick in the adv options under exp to be able to build their units from the start.
This game mode looks amazing, the scale is insane! Just one thing, I noticed you spamming mass converters like crazy but you never built enough power to use them efficiently. Remember that only power that goes over the first bar pip is used for mass conversion, and your power was constantly being chowed too fast for most of your converters to work. You would need a few more high tech power plants to keep all those converters going. That is all, love that you are playing this game! :3
@@ryaniko94brglowingkitty68 Just remember you have to use lots of converters early on, so the BO is fundamentally different. I havent´t figured it out yet.
Question my good sir! You seem to be moving the camera with WASD keys, i might be wrong of course, but if that is the case, how on earth do you rebind those keys? My greatest pet peeve in this game is how im constantly pausing units and hitting random commands when i instinctively try moving the camera with WASD
I'm very new in regards to what this game is, as in this is my first video seeing this game. But is it supposed to be a direct rip of Total Annihilation, atleast in terms of the basics?
Rip would be an underservedly derogatory term but, yes, it's an upgraded version of TA. It's built off an engine that was years ago made by TA modders that wanted a fully open-source version of the game to expand upon.
What Catbert said. It's part of the "Spring Engine" family of games, which is basically what happened when a chunk of the original Total Annihilation community decided they just wanted to play TA for the rest of their lives, and took matters into their own hands.
Select the units you want to share, then from the player list in the bottom right corner, double click the button with the two arrows next to the player name you want to share to.
I'm pretty sure he plays CoH music over his gameplay, at least I remember someone saying that in a pervious video unless you are saying you can hear the game music interfering with the music he is playing. I can't, but if you can, that does sound annoying.
It's a very SupCom thing to do, to leave icon on at all times. I think this game doesn't need it, units are easy to tell apart even at far distance and it's actually sometimes easier on the eye without the icons, especially when zoomed in.

"You're overflowing metal!"
Winter: proceeds building more metal extractors immediately
True Total Annihilation style
This mode looks sick! So fun to watch!
Play it! So fun!
Even the scavengers are nothing compared to the unmatched power of the *artificial sun*
The amount of nukes! By the end, the radioactive waste coming out of the radioactive waste off of the boss, was enriching uranium around it.

I’m just picturing green screaming like R Kelly “I’m fighting for my life man!!!” While winter is just casually talking and playing 😂
what pog gameplay - 1997 total annihilation lookin real good
I bet he didn't start this game thinking he was going to build a Navy. 😂
Absolutely a glorious game Winter! Love the comments too 😂
loved it thx for the video.
Haha, it was intense! // Grievous. Love from sweden :D
This is wild, well played Team :) downloaded and installed!
Winter, you should try the no metal map, it is a very interesting twist on the formula.
Sounds interesting

what's the name of this map? sounds like it could be a very interesting niche
@@DasHobble It is called "Greenest Fields 1.3". however do note that it does not currently work on PVE as far as I know.
Another great video! Keep em coming!

"Screw gravity."
The tick spam by green to draw fire is genius. I didn't realize how cost effective it would be
this was an awesome video
That was such an epic game!!! 💜💜💜
I too wish to subscribe to more ScavFacts!
By the Omnissiah that was glorious.
Looks like relaxing game. Might try and learn this game to play some relaxing PvE games every now and then.
Ya gotta try Raptors on Hard. They aren't quite as easy to deal with! I've only beat Very Hard one time, and it was a challenge!
wonder what is the song playing in most of the video, sounds oddly... inspiring
24mins in, why no energy converter? Is that normal?
42:50: My face reacted the same way xD
So if you manage to sneak a commander within range of the boss, does it die in a single D-Gun shot?

I think he is actually using the middle mouse button to move the camera. He's using Grid hotkeys which have WASD all bound to things already.

nice!
Heck yeah
This feels a lot like Total Annihilation. Same devs I'm guessing?
Most likely fans.
There are tons of projects like that built on the spring engine.
Zero-K comes to mind.
Never played, but Green did crazy good, based on the stats (unless I misunderstood them)@!
so kool!

This game is not GPU intensive. I almost never reach 80%+ utilization and I play in 4k120fps.
