Great video!!! Made my first tumbler yesterday and I think I overcooked it😖 But my seam, the top and bottom turned out nice.
Oh no! What was your time and temp? Did you use a convection oven?
@@CraftableThings you are going to groan when I tell you, but I was following the tumbler distributor's instructions. 385 for 8 minutes. Yes, 8 long minutes!!! Then I watched your popcorn tumbler video and saw you do it for much less. My color wasn't super vibrant and the cup turned yellowish brown in a couple places. I felt like it was too long but trusted the Instructions 😫
And yes, a convection oven.
Movie theaters should sell these as refillable cups. Just so cute! Just get a single piece of popcorn and put over that black spot to make it look like the popcorn fell out of the bucket.
These really would make fun refillable cups for theaters.
I love how you stated creating your own design you can sell without any repercussions. The whole copy right issues can instill a fear where the craft/artist becomes paralyzed. So in opening with that statement pretty much says it all. There are so many programs like Adobe Illustrator, what about it do you feel are the pros and cons? I feel the simplicity of such a complicated issue demonstrated in this video it will be a reference I will share over and over. Thank You for showing us how to be successful in the process creating a Tumbler. You are the Bestl!!!
Patricia!!! I love designing and sometimes get sucked into the "need it now" syndrome. I taught myself Adobe Illustrator. Once I got out of my own head, I was able to see the ease of the program. I'm planning to do a designing series using it. Thank you soooo much for being so supportive 💕

You make it look so easy! Love it. What program are you using to create your design? The shrink wrap came from Amazon? I've not used shrink wrap yet, I've only done 3 tumblers and they look good except for the dreaded seam. Yikes! but maybe I should. I didn't catch how long you had it in the oven, could you let me know?
Hi Cindi! Thanks so much for watching! I'm using Adobe Illustrator. I sell this shrink wrap in my Etsy Shop (Dyenamic Print Supply). I had this in my oven for 4 minutes. The paper I uses releases ink a little quicker than other papers.
