And the dutch metal queens strike again. This is a great band from my little corner of the world :P My beginning with symphonic metal started with WT and from there journeyed to After Forever and Nightwish and so on. One of the dutch metal queens in action. Glad you liked it
I think you should listen to their collab with Xzibit - the song is called "And We Run". WT is definitely more a verse-verse-chorus-verse-chorus band with pop hooks than Epica or Nightwish, but I could watch Sharon sing the phone book :)
A short introduction to the band .They are a Dutch symphonic metal band that started the same time as Nightwish 1996. They are considered one of the pioneers of female fronted symphonic metal bands. The lead vocalist is Sharon den Adel who founded the band together with her partner Robert Westerholt. She applied, and was admitted, to the conservatory for opera training but did not like it so she changed over to the arts-academy within her first semester. So apart from that short stay she is complete self-tough. There she studied clothing design and management and completed it successfully. She has mainly used these skills in designing outfits used on stage. They have had a rather successful run in clubs for couple of years where their performances were constantly sold out. Because of that they got invited to the biggest festival in the Netherlands "Pink Pop". Even though they had a very early start the concert was a huge success. They released their single "Ice Queen"shortly after expecting it to be very successful but it did not do much until somewhere in December that year a dj played it on the radio. Suddenly the song shot up in the charts and even took the number 1 spot. Now other countries started to pay attention. The next song to take a look i would recommend "The promise" from their Black Symphony concert where they were supported by a full symphonic orchestra and choir. ua-cam.com/video/39k1IQoeLAU/v-deo.html
@@GTReactions Yes! Do this one, they paly slightly longer version of the song live than it is in official video and what can be better than great band playing awesome song with full orchestra and choir?
Nice reaction man! Love your reactions👍Very cool to see you have discovered this amazing band. so because a lot of reactors for some reason do new songs first, you might as well try RAISE YOUR BANNER off of there new album. This song will deliver what you desire to here from this band. DO IT! DO IT! ✌️It will get you pumped up, I promise. But don’t do the any of the music videos yet, cuz they are not the full Version, and don’t have the guitar solo in it! Just do audio first.
If symphonic metal is something you want to explore, the next band I'd suggest is Delain: ua-cam.com/video/nT14mlv92t4/v-deo.html This track in particular explores a concept in philosophy called 'Cartesian skepticism,' and how much we rely on stupid human pride to ignore it.
