I also really like the way you changed how the steering wheel is attached. I don't mind it not being moveable, but I did mind that the canopy didn't close all the way. I felt like thats something that Lego shouldn't have let slip through Quality Control!!!!
I think you can actually use the original method of the swivel, only using 1 by 2 plate with clips instead of the technic 1 by 2 plate, but i just went with a simpler solution because i dont mind not having the swivel 🙂
@@timelymanner1463 1x2 plate with clips? Uhh, which part number you have in mind bub? There are quite a few plates with clips, lol. Perhaps what your mentioning would better suit me. I do kind like being able to lift the wheel up and down as the minifig gets in and out as thats more immersive (okay, so technically just removing the steering wheel and replacing it once the minifig is in the seat, and removing it and setting it on the seat would technically be the most realistic way of doing things! I get it! But this is LEGO and I do kinda like the movement they intended, just not the snagging canopy, thats all!
I'm not doing instructions at the moment for any of my mocs because making them can be really time consuming (i work a lot) - plus i think i show enough angles for people to figure it out - its fun to try and build this way too imo, a challenge 💪
Thank you! And if you do your own version differently let me know so i can see it! I woukd love to see a mod of this with hidden cannons or something 😀
@@timelymanner1463 The really look cool and give this thing the Batmobile feel. Batman's car is essentially an armored race car before Dark Knight Trilogy had him driving a hotrod tank. LOL
Hell yes! I immediately thought of the Batmobile as well just the other night when I built the Solus GT! I am so hapy that someone was able to find the bricks in all black and build this! This is absolutely Wonderful!
@Timely Manner I'll keep this in mind bub. Bare in mind I have to wait for these parts to actually be listed on Bricklink and then also in the colors I prefer (I guess I could get just a rainbow build done first, eventually replacing the pieces as they release in the proper colors?)
@@YouGoneMad actually most of the pieces are fairly common in black (i think at least), other than the fenders which are exclusive to the porsche 963 at the moment, its up to you how you wanna get them. Personally i think the porsche is a good parts pack 🤔
Woooooow......ok, now I'm not impressed, I'm in love....10/10. Already of all 8 studs collection that I have (pretty much all of them) I find the design of Pagani Utopia the best with building experience in top tier, and the McLaren Solus GT a top tier design with absolutely the best building experience of them all, and when you put in the equation my favourite comic/manga character "the Goddam Batman" how can I not love this......ahhh ned to find the parts, need to find the parts....asap....this, is, glorious!
You deserve more praise I absolutely love this edition of the solus in black 🔥
Thank you!

Please create instructions and a parts list for this build on Rebrickable. Please?

To me the solus gt is quite nice. The only thing that makes it unattractive is the colour scheme used by mclaren
The color scheme isn’t ugly in my opinion but it’s not great either.
DUDE I was just thinking of the Solus as a Batmobile-Mod yesterday! This looks amazing!

@@timelymanner1463 I will let you know if I do. Hey where did you get those sweet black rims? I haven't seen those in Speed Champs.
@@SilverSpoonRiche the rims are just 2 x 2 round black tiles with one stud in the centre

Beautiful Build
Thank you 😁

I was going to do the same thing and adding a engine in the back like the 2022 Batmobile
Feel free to show me when you've finished that 😁
Nice improvement from the original, especially the front!
Black is Beautiful!
I thought it was the raser Tachyon speed 💀 but good bids!
Awesome build!!
