Respect for a better man than I am. He is so positive and trying to change things for the better. I was jailed for marijuana, and I became the monster after my time in jail. 30 years later, I am reclusive, don't talk to anyone have one friend and live with doors locked and storm shutters closed over every window. I would not lift a finger to help my community because I still blame every citizen for the laws I broke. I know its crazy, but this never wore off for me, and I don't think it ever will. I wish I lived where he is running for office so I could vote for him. And I want to congratulate him on overcoming far worse than what broke me.

In his last days in the White House , Donny didn't do ANYTHING normally fitting a real President . All he did was play golf and watch tv , and Donny's agenda , his command to his minions and friends in Congress was , in those last days when he knew that he had lost the election " make me dictator ". This they tried . But unlike Germany in the 1930s , this is America . And the people here are WAY too smart and tuned in to let that happen here !

We feel the same about DEMs who voted for a man who is in obvious mental decline just because they were 'convinced' Trump is bad. We were safe under Trump. DEMs ignore this fact though.

This man stands in row with the TN3, with Rep. Warnock and so many upcoming young people of colour in politics. Accompanied by so many smart Gen Z democratic politicians.

This man's story is one of 100s of 1000s told in the South. Beatings, lynching, gunshots...I'm reminded of a story told of a black man wrapped in log chain and drowned in the French Broad river in Cocke Co, TN. The deputy said, "That's just like a n____r to steal more chain than he could swim away with." Or the young man who dared look at a white woman in MS who was beaten to death, or my friend's son who was shot to death in Meridian, MS in the early '60s. They were imprisoned for things they didn't do, castrated in the woods by Klansmen and killed in various inhumane ways after being tortured. I'm glad this man made it, but a lot of my friends and acquaintances didn't. It was very dangerous for me as well, a white man who spoke/speaks for parity for all regardless of ethnicity (there's only one race, the human one, with all its different and beautiful expressions).

What a voice for truth. It would be an honor to vote for a candidate like this, for any office. America's best, standing up to America's worst.
