Suspected Miami serial killer who targeted homeless unfit to stand trial

- On social media, Willy Maceo promoted himself as a real estate agent who provided his followers with advice on the industry.
However, in 2022, Miami-Dade State Attorneys accused him of being a serial killer who allegedly murdered two homeless men and attempted to kill another.
But two years after the killings, the 27-year-old was ruled incompetent to stand trial on Thursday.

I know a person serving 60 years for 2 very shady charges 10 years apart where there was no reliable testimony to the allegations and there was obstruction of justice by a defiant parents refusal to let a rape kit be done but oh how she wanted justice. So long story short after much witness tampering was testified to a judge willing to ignore the law and a lawyer willing to ignore his loathe a young man was railroaded by a small town judge and jury where that young man had not lived for almost 2 decades and wasn't remembered. He was someone's convenient scapegoat. Everything was too conveniently packaged for it to be anything but so they stacked an iffy situation from a youth's actions and a shoplifting charge for a pack of smokes he absentmindedly stuck in his pocket and forgot to pay for with a charge for sexual assault on a minor and slam dunk he got punked and they shipped him up the river for 60 years.
So your telling me someone sane will purposely go out on a manhunt to end up in prison for life. Mental illness is real

Frankly i dont care WHAT his mental health issues were or are. He still killed those people and he needs to go to JAIL.If he was " crazy" when he did it doesnt matter - he still DID IT.

I know someone who was acquainted with his ex girlfriend. Apparently he was diagnosed with schizophrenia at a very young age. Maybe around 14 years old, I think. He never wanted to take his medication, and wanted to live what he thought was a “normal life “. His family was very upset at his decision not to take medication.
He thought that working out and staying positive was enough. Apparently not, as he killed 2 people. This is what happens when people neglect their mental health.
Not only was he a danger to himself, but a danger to society. All of this could have been prevented if he just took his medication.
Given his track record with not wanting to take his meds, I’m sure his hospital stay won’t go well. By the looks of things, I doubt if he’ll ever stand trial.
This is so sad for the victims.

Don't be fooled prison versus mental hospital prison the (hospital prison is a nightmare) a lot of people find out the hard way and they prefer to go and beg to be transferred to a regular prison. 😮💯👏🏼
