Hi guys, i and also coming from texas, will be my first time there, wanted to see if you guys could recommend a good spot for me to tent, i will be taking the shuttle from the Appleton , so will be backpacking, will be there from Tuesday mid day to Friday afternoon, i was thinking a spot easy to get around without having a car and using the event shuttles only, maybe close to the shower , the thru any recommendations could be cool
Anywhere in the Camp Scholler area would be good especially for tent campers because most of the tent camping areas are close to showers and restrooms. They also have a few of the Red One buildings that will have basic groceries for sale when it opens. We talked with the company putting out the portable restrooms and they said they are putting out around 700 of them! That is in addition to the restroom/shower buildings that are permanently on the grounds. You won't have far to walk to get to things and the shuttles are abundant as well! They have done a great job in organizing things to be as convenient as possible!
