    I call bullshit on the sun thing!I see winter fish sunning themselves on shallow gravel bars like carp all the time.Sometimes the best bite is in the middle of the day after the water warms a couple degrees.That low light early morning thing is mostly about summer fish.

    I didn’t think it was legal to have wild steelies out of the water before being released. Or banging around the bottom of a boat before being released. Am I wrong?

      Those fish are on quinault Rez most likely hatchery, they do not clip the adipose fin. I do not think the standard rules apply on the Rez.
