Thanks for the video lads and lady, some interesting finds between you all loved the lady's buckle, the other chaps yard weight. Nice spindle worl Rick. That's an awesome nail Mike!!😎🐓🐓🐓🐓🇬🇧🇺🇦
Varied finds this day. A very picturesque field to detect, and weather was cooperative this day. Thanks for the great video as always. See you next week on the video. Enjoy the week ahead. Cheers mates! 🇬🇧🙂👍🇺🇸
@@rickhill4766 Thanks Rick. Believe it or not, I look forward to Saturdays for the round up with you and Mike. Being handicapped at this point in life, its a highlight of the week to me. Looking forward to seeing you and Mike as always. Cheers gentlemen.
What a beautiful day for a hunt. It's nice to see green. Nothing but clouds and mud around here. Temperature 37f today when I was out digging pull tab and clad coins. Good job Rick on the spindle.
Well done boys. I’ve been borrowing the 900 from where I work for the weekends and yes, there are a lot of target IDs to get your head around and then I stupidly go detecting in rubbish piles. Brain overload. Well done on the King Dave’s and the uncle Ed. Congrats Rick on the spindle whorl. Cracker. Beautiful day you had too. Hope you’re both well. Take care fellas 🦘🦘😁👍
@@rickhill4766 Yeah not bad ta Rick - still not bin' out yet in '23 tho'! Trying to shift a 'hacking cough' + I've got a couple of concerts comin' up soon... 😨 One day tho'... 😅😅
What a beaut day! The 900 looks really interesting, I hope to get a go on one soon 🙏🤞 May the historical partefact Gods shine on you this weekend ❤All the best, Julie 🥳🙋♀️😘
3 man beards and a little lady 😃. Cracking vids guys. All the best for 2023 🧑🦯🙏🍻 lovely piece of slate at the end there, make a nice chopping board that would
Thanks Dean mate, I'm just the lucky one that walks over it at the min. Mike with find something amazing soon, and my run of luck will be forgotten 😂😂😂
I think those things you keep finding is internal barn door lock parts. It's inside the lock cylinder and the key push these out to lock when you turn the key.
👋 yes it's better than the 800 but would I upgrade from the 800 to the 900? No I don't think it would. The 900 is built better and has a few nice features but as an upgrade for the 800 I just don't think it's worth it, if I was upgrading from a lower end machine say the vanquish 340 or similar than yes go for the 900 :-)
Thanks Steve mate, what Mike says I agree with, and if my 800 breaks beyond repair I'd get the 700 or 900 as the coils I have for my 800 work with the new machines 😀💪
Thought you blokes were now dinky di aussies, its the 8th here so what's the story? The Coffee Bush Kid (old kid) said you chaps know the ins and outs of the magic wands. How do you find the 900 stacks up against the 800? Cheers from down under, (2000kms way further north than the Kid.)
Like 3 times the length of GB away from Coffeebush kid :-) would I upgrade my nox 800 for the 900? Nope, I would buy the nox 900 if I was a vanquish user thinking about upgrading that's for sure.
Thanks for joining us Mark, Andrew is a top bloke. Love how the 900 feels and has some great improvements over the 800, but I tend to agree with Mike 😀💪
@@rickhill4766 The research would back up your appraisal of the 900. I have just reached the 'Gold Watch' age and my (pension-ette) will take some time to go up the ladder of affordability. My COMPAS 240 is 42yo and was inherited 3years ago, that being said, I have been prospecting for 1/2 a century and want to go over some of my old patches again with a wand. The problem, or the decision to make falls down to the 900 or Manticore or a used SDC2300 (PI). I live 300kms inland from the coast and treasure hunting is limited to the last 150 years. Gold prospecting reviews between the above machines are non-existent for the moment. Over here, the Beast is 58% more expensive than the 900, but is it 58% better in red hot ground? Would it not be good to have hindsight as foresight!
I don't like the sounds coming from the nox 900...I thought the numbers might not have been jumpy with the new technology..the Deus 2 numbers always seem to stay the same
It's a difficult one, I think with more time you probably could pick targets a bit better with the extra numbers also I think we had it on 2 tones :-( when we did this as we was not sure about it lol. Build quality was better that the 800 but I don't think I will be upgrading to it from the 800 that's for sure :-)
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel ah right I'm used to 5 tones but my tinnitus was playing up watching it lol.....yeah it certainly looks a far better build quality
More time needed with the machine Steven mate, and we didn't want to mess with stu's settings, it was just nice to have some time with it and I want more 😂😂

Great stuff again guys. Felt all wrong for a while as I didn't realise numbers went higher than 40! 😁 It'll take some getting used to. To the next 👍🏻😉
Yeah it did feel strange having them target IDs I kept wanting to swing my 800 over every target hahaha happy new year mate
