Good interview! Wish you would have asked him about the "I came to wreck" album. I remember the delays kept happening and then it finally dropped on 9/11 with a plane crashing on fire on the album cover. That was crazy

Donnie Houston ain't lying about not knowing how these guys looked. I was born in 91 so I was a little too young to have known them pre 2004-05. I used to listen to these guys off Limewire and I didn't know how none of them looked. Freestyle Kingz and DSR included.

When I first heard swishahouse, I just came back from overseas back to Ft. Hood, TX, in April 2000. I bought that swisha2k from the Renaissance (a music store in Killeen). On that cd, I first heard that Big Ballin Shot Callin… man! I was rockin hard off that shit!

I understand what Tike talking about (mainly infantile grandiosity) but yea many times we can be so accurate on some thangs. I'm from Laredo, Texas and got cleaned for 10 years, the crazy part is that I actually missed some of those mysterious episodes so I read this book by Mircea Eliade titled "Rites & Symbols of Initiation" and synchronistically speaking last January 11 I went through some of the most phenomenal, mystical moment while sober. Too long to speak on it, but I guess it was completing that spiritual journey at that time. In a nutshell, it's really about transforming us into more accountable adults, easier said than done, but there's more details to it. Peace.
