FOREST MONASTERY
Newbury Buddhist Monastery is just 70 minutes from the heart of Melbourne city. The magnificent landscape and tranquil surroundings offer an inspiring backdrop for seclusion and meditation.
With its establishment, both male and female spiritual aspirants can seek out full ordination. This supports the cultivation of Buddhist teachers who in return, share Dhamma teachings across the world.

🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 stopping is a big shock to the system, you meet the mind and it's attachments, fears, desires, the past and future, I had to learn to be present and that being so peaceful and slow, unhurried was normal! And that mind indeed is forerunner and if we believe it's dictation, we suffer.
Like the monk said, actually walking is very, may be more beneficial first for people suffering with ptsd or trauma or burnout etc.
