Maybe it's me but this palette seems like the cool toned version of the Bronze Seduction. Bronze Seduction (which I own) and Moonlit Seduction would be the two Mothership palettes I would get the most use out of. Also, the Celestial Odyssey quad have some colors that is similar to the Moonlit Seduction. I think I am going to get Moonlit Seduction, I tend to be intentional in my Pat Mcgrath purchases.
Same girl. Funny you mentioned it. The only two Mothership pallette I own are Bronze Seduction and Moonlit Seduction!! So nice. I also have one holiday pallette and two quads but who's counting. Lol yes girl it's a must have!

**JUST MY TWO CENTS HERE ABOUT SMILAR SHADES** You are so right I know that some of the shades will look or will be similar to others in previous palettes but that is not why you get Pat McGrath I will hate to use different motherships for a look I love her curation and I know I can get amazing and different looks by just using 1 palette so I do not care if the shades are similar to other palettes I want to open one of her palettes and create a look curated to work within itself.

Unfortunately, I missed out on getting this palette when I could use the code for a discount so now I have to wait until I get some cash free to get it at full price or wait until it is released at Sephora to get a discount. Either way, I plan on getting this palette! My favorite Mothership palette is Midnight Sun (just like you) and I am excited to mix and match the two palettes together!

ok half way through and i gotta say i have noo idea why pat mcgrath has made all these shadows so similar! but the formula is fantastic, my entire makeup collection is only pmg, and i absolutely need every single mothership. i don’t have any smaller palettes (except the pink blitz quad, actually gave away the small 6 pan rose one to my sister), i will gladly use these palettes as they truly do give off different vibes. they even blend so well together and create something entirely new. at the end of the day, i trust mother’s vision and many, many years in the industry. definitely staying here for it all! thank you for the viieeeddeeooosssss ❤️
Thank you for putting so much effort into comparing all these shades. I'm not into all of the mothership palettes, because most of them give me a similar vibe, even if some tones are a little bit more mauve and others are a little bit more plum and so on. Put if I put several shades on my eyes and blend them together, I don't think, that the difference would be so different in the end. Love pat McGraths quality (really enjoy my midnight voyage) , but I'm not at all a fan of her repetitive color story's.
Hi Alicia, I have to say that I really enjoy how you get into showing us the shades and how they look and how much they are different in undertones. It really showed me a lot. I didn’t think I was going to get this Mothership 10. But I’m really starting to change my mind. It’s just that I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes. That is my favorite kind of makeup product. So I did decide that I was going to do my best not to get palettes that are going to make basically the same looks. But then even though they may make the same look, the experience and the formula from each brand is so exciting. If anyone knows what I mean then they understand. Playing with eyeshadows makes it fun for me. And having mental problems this is something that makes me very happy. And I just don’t want to be disappointed with a palette that’s going to look the same. Anyway Thanks so very much for doing this type of video. I know it’s not easy. I suspected this from the sneak peek for Mothership X: I have enough of the other eyeshadow palettes where it's not worth it for me to drop PML prices on a combo I pretty much already have. If I was new to PML, this would excite me so it's probably best for those who don't have too many of her products.

I just got my mothership x yesterday and compared to star palette from Natasha and it’s definitely a less grungy more glam version imo! I adore star palette so I know I’m going to love mothership x
My palette just arrived today and I ordered it on Tuesday I believe. I just realized that the X palette has more product than previous Motherships. I compared it to the DRI and the DRI has 11.32 grams whereas the X has 19.5 grams
Thanks so much for this - always the content I find most valuable! I wish the last quad of Moonlit Seduction was available on its own - I just want those sparkles but not inspired by the rest of the pallette.
So the standout shade at first reminded me of Mac Club, Lounge from UD, etc. But they are quite different. As far as anything else compares within Pat's line, I immediately thought of Dragonfly from the Celestial Divinity palette. BUT it seems that one is much more green too. Would love to see a side-by-side of them, even in a short, or on IG. I love your detailed reviews and swatch comparisons. Congrats on the acknowledgement from PML and the embossed palette! How cool is that?? :) OH! Do you have Messier from Devinah cosmetics? That's another one that probably comes somewhat close! It's stunning. I would love own this palette. It's going on the wishlist! :)

You took the words out of my mouth right if people are that worried into comparisons with what they have probably should just skip it LOL I own every Pm palette, quad, holiday and I'm not worried one bit I love every single one of them!!! Well I sadly don't have "yet" mothership 2 or 3 or decadence I'm fine not having decadence but I will eventually get 2 and 3! I agree, if I need to dissect every shade and compare it to every other PML in my rolling cart o'makeup, skipping MSX is the safe bet. Who knows, I may change my mind come Black Friday. Depending on what the holiday releases will be, of course 😉

Mothership 10 might be the one but love all the cooler leaning palettes. With my cool fair skin shade, I’m thinking either Sublimal, Divine Rose l or Moonlit…..

I just got my mothership x yesterday and compared to star palette from Natasha and it’s definitely a less grungy more glam version imo! I adore star palette so I know I’m going to love mothership x
Yes! I assumed as much given the browns and burnished bronze metallics in there.
The decadence silver comes to mind when I see that silver metallic in moonlit seduction.
My palette just arrived today and I ordered it on Tuesday I believe. I just realized that the X palette has more product than previous Motherships. I compared it to the DRI and the DRI has 11.32 grams whereas the X has 19.5 grams

Vr sextasy reminds me of the old MAC pigment, blue brown. So much better in a palette vs loose pigment
So the standout shade at first reminded me of Mac Club, Lounge from UD, etc. But they are quite different. As far as anything else compares within Pat's line, I immediately thought of Dragonfly from the Celestial Divinity palette. BUT it seems that one is much more green too. Would love to see a side-by-side of them, even in a short, or on IG. I love your detailed reviews and swatch comparisons. Congrats on the acknowledgement from PML and the embossed palette! How cool is that?? :)
OH! Do you have Messier from Devinah cosmetics? That's another one that probably comes somewhat close! It's stunning. I would love own this palette. It's going on the wishlist! :)
