Hi Friends! A lot of you have been asking about certain shades in Moonlit Seduction against Huda Beauty Rose Quartz and Retro so I thought I'd put this quick little video together. I'm not sure if it's helpful or not but hopefully it is. Also I got a new camera so I'm sorry if the quality is weird. Hang in there with me while I work out the new setup haha 💗💗
I love the way you do the large swatches kinda blending them into your hand. It really is better than traditional swatches. You can see so much better how they look
The new camera is 🔥, the shine and textures just show up insanely well! Also, love how your swatching really blending them out, it picks up undertones and reflection so much better than generic swatching.

I don’t know if you see comments from your older videos. I get so excited about my palettes when I watch your videos! I’ve often wondered wouldn’t it be cool to make a canvas with all our favorite shades so we could look at them all the time!
Thanks for all the swatches and comparisons. I have the Huda Rose Quartz, ND Retro and as of the recent Sephora sale now also the ND Glam face palette, so I don't feel the Moolit Seduction brings anything new to my collection. There are a couple of unique shades however mine I think are close enough and I only have 2 eyes and not that much lid space. My Glaminatrix Nearly Naturals palette arrived this week, its so so beautiful. Your video was very helpful in convincing me not to buy another palette, thanks Martina.

The Huda Beauty palette is my absolute favorite ! I have to force myself to use other palettes because otherwise, I would use that palette every single day haha

Martina do you ever feel like you use more product swatching or using the shades ? We all appreciate you show casing and helping us make a good decision when it comes to spending ,) The more you show this PML palette the more I want it, however I barely touch of four others Motherships, and is why I haven’t tried or touched my PML Midnight Sun yet’ I hate that cosmetics start to expire once we touch the product ,(
Mmm I think having my channel absolutely helps me use more of my makeup than I would without it and I think if I didn’t have my channel I wouldn’t have all the motherships. Like I think I would never have gotten Subversive or Huetopian Dream because they wouldn’t have been something I would have thought I would wear. And just some other random palettes in my collection I never would have bought for example but have and get a lot of use from them for content but I think even if I didn’t swatch I would have used my Pat and ND palettes especially a lot because I just love using them. In saying that I don’t know owning any more than say two palettes you could ever get through them all before they expire lol it’s so much product. But the expiry’s depend too cos I find eyeshadow palettes usually last about three to five years depending on the formula. I’m not sure if that helps any your question at all haha 💗💗💗
Thank you so much for the comparisons Martina! I was thinking that this would be my first mothership. But the price of the motherships in euro had been increased from €125 to €160. That’s just too much for me, also since I don’t like dealing with fall out and I prefer Natasha Denona’s matt formula so much more. It took me a while to get used to the Pat McGrath formula in Celestial Odyssey. Guess Natasha denona will be getting my money and rose Quartz will be added to the “buy on black friday” list ;)
The whole time I just wanted to yell “ don’t swirl, you’re destroying it”! 😁 So I don’t know if you found true dupes, but we definitely learned that the special shades are fragile…🤣. On another subject, I received the Glaminatrix nearly natural yesterday and it is spectacular and far less neutral than the lunar nude prism. Thanks for the video.
Haha they're just super flakey but weirdly when you put them on the eyes they are not as flakey as they look. Also I ordered the Nearly Natural yesterday for the Sep drop! Literally reading yours and Carolyns comments convinced me haha 💗💗💗
The new ND My Dream collection looks like an updated Star palette. I think it will be a close color story to Moonlit Seduction since those are the popular tones now. It's actually just a flashback to a 2015 color story.
I have a sneaking suspicion that when the new Natasha denona palette comes out, you'll be doing a video comparing it to moonlit seduction. I'm seeing a lot of similarities in the promo photos.
She missed one. Wish she’d compared platinum dusk to the LAST silvery shade in the second row of glam. She compared every other silver to it except that one when that looked the most similar in pan. I don’t know how she overlooked that one?
You can just address me directly Patty, I read my comments lol I didn’t swatch it because even though it might look similar on camera in real life it absolutely is not comparable in my opinion. Doesn’t mean that has to be yours of course but that’s why I didn’t ☺️

It looks shockingly like the sneak peak photos of the ND palette yet to be released, My Dream Palette (or something like that).
