दयानंद सरस्वती ने सत्यार्थ प्रकाश में मांस खाने का जिक्र किया था:- वेद भाष्य और संशोधित सत्यार्थ प्रकाश में मांस भक्षण:- इस विषय में मुंशी समयर्वदान का पूर्ण संख्या ४६७ (भाग ३ , पृष्ठ ५८७ ) पर छपा पत्र विशेष देखने योग्य है । उसके प्रथम संदर्भ में लिखा है कि:- निवेदन यह है कि वेद भाष्य में जो मांस खाने का जिक्र है उसको तो आप ने निकाल दिया था ।और मुझको आज्ञा दी थी कि मांस का विधान न आए इस प्रकार छाप दो सो मैंने छाप दिया था । अब सत्यार्थ प्रकाश के भाक्ष्याभाक्ष्य का प्रकरण पाया । इस मै जो आपने मांस खाने की स्पष्ट आज्ञा दी है । ( पृष्ठ ५८८ प॰ ३-७) इस पत्र से साफ होता है वेद भाष्य और संशोधित सत्यार्थ प्रकाश में मांस खाने का जिक्र लिखा गया था ।

यज्ञ के नाम पर पशुहिंसा का खंडन महाभारत, अनुशासन पर्व, 114, 115, 116 वे अध्याय में भीष्मजीने किया है | यज्ञ में अज का अर्थ तीन साल पुराने बीज ऐसा बताकर उपरिचरि बसू और सत्य नामक ब्राह्मण का आख्यान बताया है और अहिंसा धर्म का महत्व समझाया है | उपरिचरि बसू ने हिंसा का समर्थन किया इसलिए वो रसातल में चला गया था | सत्य नामक ब्राह्मण की धर्म ने मृगरूप धारण करके परिक्षा ली थी और यह सिद्ध किया की यज्ञमें पशू का बली देने पर पशू स्वर्ग में जाता है यह गलतफॅमी है | वेदोंकी वाणी परोक्ष होने के कारण लोगोंने अंदर छिपे अर्थ को ना समझकर उपर उपर का पुष्पित (दिखावटी) अर्थ ही सही मानकर पशूओंकी बली देना प्रारंभ किया | इस पुष्पित वाणी का उल्लेख भगवान ने भगवद्गीता अध्याय 2 श्लोक 42 में किया है | मेष, वृषभ नाम के वनस्पती भी पाये जाते है | और वनस्पती, फलों के छाल के अंदर जो मुलायम भाग होता है उसें भी संस्कृत में मांस कहा जाता है ऐसा ऑनलाईन संस्कृत शब्दकोश में लिखा है | (fleshy part or pulp of fruite) sanskritdictionary.com/m%C4%81%E1%B9%83sa/175727/1 इसलिए मांस शब्द का भाषांतर गीताप्रेस और दयानंदने फल का गूदा किया है | वेदों के यज्ञसामुग्री संबंधित मंत्रोमें दधी, शहद के साथ मांस शब्द का फल का गूदा ये वाला अर्थ ही ठीक ठीक बैठता है | यदि दधी, शहद के साथ मांस शब्द का अर्थ पशूमांस लगाया जाए तो हवि खानेवाले लोगोंको रोग हो जाएँगे | क्योंकी दूध के पदार्थ के साथ मांस पेट में मिश्रित होकर रोग पैदा करता है यह आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक भी मानते है | इसिलिए उन मंत्रो में मांस शब्द का अर्थ वनस्पती या फल का गूदा ही सही निकलता है | यदि किसी ने पुछा की पैड पौधों को काटने में हिंसा नही होती? तो इस विषय पर महाभारत वनपर्वणी में धर्मव्याध के उपाख्यान में भी वनस्पतीयों में पशूओं की तुलना में जडत्व का प्रमाण अधिक और चेतना का प्रमाण कम होने के कारण वनस्पतीयों को काटते समय की वेदना ये पशूओं को काटते समय की वेदना से ना के बराबर बतायी गयी है | आधुनिक विज्ञान भी कहता है की वनस्पतीयों में मध्यवर्ती चेता संस्था ( central nervous system ) पशूओं की तरह विकसित नही होती इसिलिए वनस्पतीयों को होनेवाली वेदना की अनुभूती ये पशूओंको होने वाली वेदनाके अनुभूती के ना के बराबर है. घर बनाते समय जो कीटक, वनस्पतीयां उखाडी जाती है, उनके शांती के लिए रक्षोघ्न जैसे विधी भी बताया गये है | इज्यायज्ञश्रुतिकृतैर्यो मार्गैरबुधोअधम: | हन्याज्जन्तून् मांसगृघ्नु: स वै नरकाभांनर: || जो मांसलोभी अधम मनुष्य श्रुति में बताये गये यज्ञ के नामपर पशूओंकी हिंसा करते है वे नरकगामी होते है | संदर्भ : महाभारत, अनुशासनपर्व, दानधर्मपव, अध्याय 115, श्लोक 4 लेकीन ऋग्वेद मंडल 1, सुक्त 162, 163, 164 में अश्वमेध के बारे में बताया गया है | मैने सुना है की वेदवाणी परोक्ष है | उपर उपर से पढनेवालो को यह अर्थ लगता है की वहा अश्व की हत्या की गयी है | लेकीन सखोलतासे अभ्यास करने पर पता चलता है की वहाँ अश्व का अर्थ कुछ और ही है | जैसे की ऋग्वेद के अश्व का भाषांतर गीताप्रेस वालों ने अग्नी किया है तो दयानंद सरस्वतीने सूर्य किया है | वहाँ लिखा है की वह अश्व (सूर्य, अग्नी) पानी से प्रकट (सूर्योदय के समय) होता दिखता है तो कभी जमीन से | वो आकाश में पंछी की भाती भ्रमण करता हुआ नजर आता है | उसका मुख सोने का है और पैर लोहे के | सूर्य भी सोने जैसा दिखता है और सूर्य के गाभा में लोह है ऐसा आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक भी बताते है | तैतरिय संहिता में उस अश्व को symbolic (प्रतिकात्मक) बताया गया है | जैसे की अश्व का मस्तिष्क : रात आँख : सूर्य श्वास : वायू कान : चंद्रमा आँख बंद करना और खोलना : रात और दिन अंग : ऋतू बाल : किरण हड्डीया : तारे मांस : कुहासा पूछ के बाल : पेडपौधे मुख : अग्नी पेट : समुद्र गुद : वातावरण अंडकोष : आकाश और पृथ्वी जब वो चबाता है तब बिजली गिरती है, आकाश में घडघडाहत होती है | ऐसा बताया गया है | यह बात तो स्पष्ट करती है की वहाँ अश्व का अर्थ भौतिक अश्व नही लेना चाहिए | लेकीन कुछ आचार्य वेदोंमें पशूबली का समर्थन भी करते है | सुरा मत्स्या मधु मांसमासवं कृसरौदनम्। धूर्तै: प्रवर्तितं ह्येतन्नैतद् वेदेषु कल्पितम्॥ मानान्मोहाच्च लोभाच्च लौलरूमेतत्प्रकल्पितम्। 📖 (संदर्भ : महाभारत, शांतीपर्व, अध्याय 265, श्लोक 9, 10) सुरा, आसव, मधु, मांस और मछली तथा तिल और चावलकी खिचडी - इन सब वस्तुओंको धूर्तोंने यज्ञमें प्रचलित कर दिया है | वेदोंमें इनके उपयोगका विधान नही है | उन धूर्तोंने अभिमान, मोह और लोभके वशीभूत होकर उन वस्तुओंके प्रति अपनी यह लोलुपता ही प्रकट की है |

There's also another reference to pashubali by Kumarilla Bhatta in another book. It discusses how vaidika pashubali isn't even a himsa, and hence it doesn't violate the eternal message of "ahimsa parmo dharma"

In this verse, killing is forbidden, therefore ālabhan can only have the sense of touching. From this it is understood that according to the Bhāgavata, animal sacrifice by killing the animal is not recommended for Vaiṣṇavas. The Bhāgavata is considered to be the highest fruit of the Vedas-nigama-kalpa-taror galitaṁ phalaṁ (SB 1.1.3). Therefore, the ultimate purpose of the Vedas is not propagating animal sacrifice.

एक सच्चा संत शाकाहारी नहीं बल्कि सात्विक होता है। लहसुन प्याज जो कि घोर तामसिक होता है उसे भी शाकाहार के श्रेणी में रखा जाता है किन्तु संत या भक्त इसे नहीं पाते हैं। शाकाहारी माँसाहारी पश्चिम कृत है जिसका कोई तर्क नहीं है। हमारे सनातन धर्म में भोजन को सात्विक राजसिक और तामसिक में बाँटा गया है और संत महात्मा तथा शास्त्र सभी सनातनियों को सात्विक भोजन ग्रहण करने का उपदेश देते हैं।

In some of your videos you mentioned about adhya para Shakti and you believe in that but you directly ignored 10 mahavidyas which are supreme manifestation of her. In Tantra there are also sattvik sadhanas called dakshinacharya tantra and tamsik sadhanas one of which is called Kaula tantra actually starts which has a base of panch makar or pancha tatva i.e, madya (Alcohol), māṃsa (Meat), matsya (Fish), mudrā (grain), and maithuna (sex). How can you ignore these paths. Tantra gurus and its scholars says do not judge any other sects or sampradays because they might have any practices which you don't like or follow or connect with. Have you researched on tantra shashtra and came to the conclusion of what is wrong and right? If pashu bali is wrong then our ancestors would not have got any results and tantra or any other practice which include pasu bali would have ended. You have right to follow whichever path you connect with but this doesn't give you the right to talk incorrect about other paths. I totally respect you and your path, I myself was born and bought up in vaishanism family but i still believe in other sects and there practices. I myself do basic tantra sadhana which i connect to which doesn't include pashu bali. And to viewers who are commenting about the admins IIT degree and its compitance, i would suggest them that you need to re-think twice and actually do some analysis and survey on tantra shastra without coming to conclusions. Maharshi vyas himself has criticised animal sacrifice and declared it non Vedic in several places in Mahabharata what's your take on that ? Adding to it there are refrences where it's pointed out that how animal sacrifice in yagnas evolved by some greedy fellow and the narrator is none other than Rishi vyas .

For Rigved ( till 7th mandal) and whole yajurveda you can refer maharshi dayanand saraswati's translation. But maharsi died before he could translate (8th---10th) mandal of Rigved and whole samved and atharvaveda. Unfortunately not a single translation even that of arya samaj translation of samved and atharvaveda are not 100% authentic. So for that you need to struggle 😢.

We need to magnify our perspective of Sanatan Dharma.. I want to clarify I am not a propagator of Pashubali and all things I myself do Sadhana which does not include Pashubali.. Ok now what my point is in Sanatan Dharma there are many sects which follow different type of Puja Paddhati some of them are belong to Dakshinacharya Paddhati which is normally we see in our society like Vaishnav Puja Paddhati but some of them are belong to Vaamacharya Paddhati that we see very less but they are also part of our society like Aghor, Kol Tantra Puja Paddhati etc. It is our choice what path we follow but we should not banish or belittle other paths which also present in our ancient systems.. And to the admin of this channel I want to say you are doing very good work and I am not in any position to criticise you but for a suggestion I want to advice you that you should also read more about Tantra Sadhna and it's practices and the more important the Devi Devatas of this sect like Bhairav Baba Tara maa Mahakali and many more.. No Vaishnava scriptures and Vedas promote animal sacrifice( that is why I consider and every sane human beings consider them superior), in shrimad bhagvad ved vyas has clearly stated this is his ultimate creation which will be most authoritative and superior to his previous creations, he has written all puranas, Vedas and brahmsutras.....ved vyas has written everything authoritative in Hinduism, In Upanishads, Vedanta, everywhere you will find animal sacrifice as a lower or tamsik kind of sadhana, even a sane human being can clearly find it wrong to sacrifice innocent animals....use your common sense..... Only tantra shastras which are vaam margi (left handed) will promote that because that is for lower being like asuras who are compulsive and can't do satvik sadhana...... So as long you are lower level being, you will indulge in tamsik way of worship, but to get moksha(enlightenment), whether by dhyan yoga or bhakti yoga, you have to be satvik... Dhakshin marg tantra is superior, vaam marg is for lower level human beings.....now it's your choice

गरुडपुराण में पशुबलि के विषय में लिखा है कि - "वेदोक्तयज्ञादन्यत्र स्वात्मार्थं पशुमारकः(वैतरण्यां पतति)" (गरुडपुराण अध्याय ४ मन्त्र २० से) अर्थात् वेद में कहे गये यज्ञों के अलावा खुद के लिए पशु को मारनेवाला नर्क की वैतरणी नदी में जा गिरता है।

In ramayan and mahabharat, pashu bali and meat consumption is well documented, and whole debate on whether bali and meat consumption is justified or not according to dharma was also extensively cover in mahabharat at that time with an open ending. I am not in favor or against bali pratha and meat consumption, but just want to share my research as mahabharat and ramayan are considered over history which is actually happened unless like mythology.

Animal sacrifice happen In every village of West Bengal during kali puja and day by day each village tries to increase the number of animal sacrifice to show how superior and prosper they are. I have witnessed it when I was small it hurts and from then onwards I became vegetarian. But I have also heard about a story of zamindar who stopped animal sacrifice and instead started distributing sweets as a prasad. I feel people here need more of awareness, no one knows what is there in ved and upanishads they only listen to brahmins and do so. Maximum bengoli brahmins are nonvegetarian which arise a question on them being brahmins. They don't follow what brahmans are supposed to do. Well I pray to God to stop this kind of cruelty.
This ritual of animal sacrifice is not in the Vedic way but comes in sakht Pooja. It's a necessity in vamachar Tantra. Pooja without panchmakar is not possible
To understand the translation we must always check at the background of the translator. There would exist bias to more or less extent. Since Sayan was from shakt tradition he would endorse animal sacrifice in vedas while Vaishnavas would oppose and refute animal sacrifice quoting Bhagwat Geeta.
I would like to disagree with this video with many points. First of all the "great" daarshnik who this individual is referring to is an individual who goes by the name of udayveer shastri. Who ofc would certainly have less credibility than many other divine saints. Now, as per the claim of this video , the problems with understanding of the shastras started around 13th century, right? So... Let's pick up individuals before that period. Brahmaasutra Adhyaya 3 pada 1 says ( and this is me paraphrasing ) that one doesn't incur any sin because of the Bali because it is done in a righteous way for the Gods. Shankaracharya (788 AD ) has agreed to this in his wor. Ramanujachary in his Sri Bhashya has agreed to this. Madhavachary in his Dvaita writings has agreed to this. Sri baldevs vidhyabhushans in his gaudivifya vaishnavo has agreed to this. Ramakrishna paramhans ( the spiritual guru of swami vivekananda ) who is said to be the most intense Kali upasak in the last 200 years used to support and do bali to the maa on certain days. Now coming to the Ashwamedha , if it wasn't a sacrificial ritual why did the Charvaka darshan ( which almost became non existent after 12th century ) condemned it ? ( Fir those of you who don't know charvaka darshan is an atheistic school of thought which doesn't believe in the supreme value of the vedas ) Now coming to other texts. If bali isn't the way why is it described in such details in kalika puran? Why is it mentioned in Devi bhagwat puran? Shakta agams? Why is devi kamakhya maa known as chaangbalipriya ( one who loves goat sacrifice ) Why is it mentioned in yogini tantra? ( For those of you who want to curse the moment they read the word tantra , Shiva started tantra , the navratri we so love and adore , the durga puja , all of it is tantrik in nature ) Why did abhinav gupta in Kashmiri Shaivism gives importance to bali? He could've done it in other ways as well. Nobody is asking you to take or give bali , but if you don't belong to a certain sampradaya, don't comment on it's practices for the sake of views. As per the lessons from Buddha. Buddha was an extremely pacifist individual. So I would rather not take his take on yagna as very valid. However, the flip side of the story, though not that widely known, is still practiced in a few places around the world. Certain Gods and Goddesses in Hinduism are known for being destroyers of evil forces, which includes the killing of demons and drinking their blood. Hence, it is believed that to please these deities, similar offerings must be made - that in the form of animal sacrifices. For example, the Goddess Kali is known as the Goddess of Death and Doomsday. As per the religious text Devi Mahatmya, she is known for defeating the demon Raktabija. Raktabija had a unique ability where he could spawn a replicate of himself for every drop of his blood that is shed onto the ground. To defeat the demon, Kali had to drink every single drop of Raktabija’s blood, leading to her acquiring the taste of the demon’s blood. The Goddess is also typically found with her blood-smeared tongue stuck out, showing her thirst for the blood of the demon. As such, there are Kali temples around the world that offer animal blood sacrifices for the Goddess, such as goats and chickens, as offerings. This contradicts the advocacy of viewing animals as sacred and respecting their lives in general Hinduism. These practices definitely demonstrate a huge step taken backward in terms of Hinduism advocating care for the lives of animals, and respecting them as fellow living beings. Nevertheless, the bulk of Hindus condone these animal sacrifices, and they find other ways to appease the deities such as by offering fruits or even fire-walking. Furthermore, the extremity of having to sacrifice animals for Durga and Kali has contributed to the formation of a separate category for Durga and Kali devotees, known as Shaktism. Therefore, the practices of this category of Hindus, particularly the sacrificing of animals, is seen as an opposing notion to the central idea of Hinduism. मैं उत्तराखंड से हू वहां गंगोलीहाट नामक जगह है जहाँ महाकाली का मुख्य मंदिर है जिसमे युगो से बकरे की बलि दी जा रही है अभी कुछ समय पहले वहां पशुबली रोक दी ग्यी dm के आदेश पर उसके बाद से वहां देवी प्रकोप इतना बढ़ गया प्राकृतिक आपदाएँ बाघ द्वारा इंसानों पर हमले और पहाड़ो का टूटना सब अचानक से शुरू गया और तब जाके dm को लोगो के भारी विरोध के बाद आदेश वापस लेना पढ़ गया उसके बाद सब नॉर्मल हो गया .. अगर देवी देवता को बलि नहीं चाहिए होती तो ये क्या था?ऐसे सैकड़ो वाक्ये और भी हैँ 😎 जैसे इंसान हैँ वैसे ही देवी देवता भी हैँ तामसिक देवता भी है और सात्विक देवता भी सबको अपना भोग लगता है यहाँ हिस्ट्री से इन देवताओं को समझना मुश्किल ही नहीं नामुमकिन है उत्तराखंड पूरा शाक्त और शैव उपासको का एरिया है यहाँ देविय चमत्कार आम बात है 😎 यहाँ प्रसाद के रूप मे बकरे का मीट दिया जाता है हर किसी को 😎

Satpath brahman 11.7.1 describes the benifits of animal sacrifing( I'm not supporting it I'm purely against of this stupidity but telling the refrence only) THE ANIMAL SACRIFICE[1]. 1. He performs the animal sacrifice. Now the animal sacrifice means cattle: thus, when he performs the animal sacrifice (paśubandha, the binding of the animal), it is in order that he may be possessed of cattle. Let him perform it at his home, thinking, 'I will bind (attach) cattle to my home.' Let him perform it in the season of abundant fodder, thinking, 'I will bind to myself cattle in a season of abundant fodder.' For, whilst he is offering[2], the Sacrificer's fires become worn out, and so does the Sacrificer, along with the worn-out fires, and along with the Sacrificer his house and cattle. 2. And when he performs the animal sacrifice, he renews his fires, and so, along with the renewal of his fires, does the Sacrificer (renew himself), and along with the Sacrificer his house and cattle. And beneficial to life, indeed, is that redemption of his own self[3]; for whilst he is offering the Sacrificer's fires long for flesh; they set their minds on the Sacrificer and harbour designs on him. In other fires[4] people do indeed cook any kind of meat, but these (sacrificial fires) have no desire for any other flesh but this (sacrificial animal), and for him to whom they belong. 3. Now, when he performs the animal offering. he thereby redeems himself--male by male, for the victim is a male, and the Sacrificer is a male. And this, indeed, to wit, flesh, is the best kind of food: he thus becomes an eater of the best kind of food. Let not a year pass by for him without his offering; for the year means life: it is thus immortal life he thereby confers upon himself. Satpath brahman 11.7.1

I loved dogs cows cats which we don't eat as meat but then i realised all animals and birds fish , each have same rights to live like a human do. But according to kalikapuran which is also called Kali tantra shatra, there is a adhyay called rudhiraadhyay translated as bloodepisodes which states that nar Bali can also be given to kali but the condition is that it should be given only if the person who is going to be offered as Bali should approve it(iska matlb us admi aur raja ke marji se).It also specifys which animal should be offered Bali to which form of shakti and in vamacara tantra it is not about killing animal inside us means in vamacara tantra we need to perform practical Bali not therotically inside us.There is also specification that if Bali is being offered to Kali then it is to which form of kali.?.It should not be Daksina Kali or Krishna Kali,It should be bhadra Kali or shamshan Kali So Bali should be discussed mostly in terms of tantra and not Veda.Coming to point about Veda so some vedic yagyas included and when bali is mandatory it is mandatory if you talk about using substitute like coconut,the result would also be like a substitute and remember the story of Lav and Kush they stole the royal horse of ashwamedhyagya which was later performed by Lord Ram it means (ashwa = horse and medh = sacrifice) means it is a yagya of horse. Bali is mostly offered to ugra forms of gods.
Aswamedh doesn't mean horse killing it is used for horse sacrifice. The horse is left free in this yagn. For an instance you can have in satpath brahman:- Rashtram va ashwamedh meaning :- Horse is the symbolisation of nation . I don't know why guys are supporting Vali .
Actually we have many shstras not only bhagwat gita kalikapuran is one of 18 maha purans like shiv puran, vishnu puran, Devi bhagwat puran etc and It is not written in 17th century it was written way back earlier by rishi Markandeya who wrote mritunjaya mantra of Shiva. And if you read veda ashwa medh is actually means horse sacrifice. And according to mahavidya tantra all the ten mahavidyas are bali priya and their formal worship is only done by vamacara. And if you read kali sahastranam meaning 1000 names of maa kali the word "bali priya" and "Rudhira priya" comes many times which means she love blood and bali
@@Tecno_playz Bro I don't have any clue about Tantric texts but ashwamedh doesn't mean horse killing. Sacrifice means त्याग. In hindi त्याग means leaving something with detachment. Vedas itself never prefer animal killing until unless they harm you and your society or your nation( during war horse and elephants ) . In ashwamedh the horse is left to roam around different kingdoms. Therefore it's called ashwamedh ( sacrifice:- त्याग of ashwa ). Atharvaveda (10/1/29) prohibits horse killing (गाम, अश्वं, पुरुषं मा वधिः):- Don't kill cows, horses and humans.

Animal sacrifice happen In every village of West Bengal during kali puja and day by day each village tries to increase the number of animal sacrifice to show how superior and prosper they are. I have witnessed it when I was small it hurts and from then onwards I became vegetarian. But I have also heard about a story of zamindar who stopped animal sacrifice and instead started distributing sweets as a prasad. I feel people here need more of awareness, no one knows what is there in ved and upanishads they only listen to brahmins and do so. Maximum bengoli brahmins are nonvegetarian which arise a question on them being brahmins. They don't follow what brahmans are supposed to do. Well I pray to God to stop this kind of cruelty.

वेद भाष्य और संशोधित सत्यार्थ प्रकाश में मांस भक्षण:- इस विषय में मुंशी समयर्वदान का पूर्ण संख्या ४६७ (भाग ३ , पृष्ठ ५८७ ) पर छपा पत्र विशेष देखने योग्य है ।
उसके प्रथम संदर्भ में लिखा है कि:- निवेदन यह है कि वेद भाष्य में जो मांस खाने का जिक्र है उसको तो आप ने निकाल दिया था ।और मुझको आज्ञा दी थी कि मांस का विधान न आए इस प्रकार छाप दो सो मैंने छाप दिया था । अब सत्यार्थ प्रकाश के भाक्ष्याभाक्ष्य का प्रकरण पाया । इस मै जो आपने मांस खाने की स्पष्ट आज्ञा दी है । ( पृष्ठ ५८८ प॰ ३-७)
इस पत्र से साफ होता है वेद भाष्य और संशोधित सत्यार्थ प्रकाश में मांस खाने का जिक्र लिखा गया था ।

यज्ञ के नाम पर पशुहिंसा का खंडन महाभारत, अनुशासन पर्व, 114, 115, 116 वे अध्याय में भीष्मजीने किया है | यज्ञ में अज का अर्थ तीन साल पुराने बीज ऐसा बताकर उपरिचरि बसू और सत्य नामक ब्राह्मण का आख्यान बताया है और अहिंसा धर्म का महत्व समझाया है | उपरिचरि बसू ने हिंसा का समर्थन किया इसलिए वो रसातल में चला गया था | सत्य नामक ब्राह्मण की धर्म ने मृगरूप धारण करके परिक्षा ली थी और यह सिद्ध किया की यज्ञमें पशू का बली देने पर पशू स्वर्ग में जाता है यह गलतफॅमी है | वेदोंकी वाणी परोक्ष होने के कारण लोगोंने अंदर छिपे अर्थ को ना समझकर उपर उपर का पुष्पित (दिखावटी) अर्थ ही सही मानकर पशूओंकी बली देना प्रारंभ किया | इस पुष्पित वाणी का उल्लेख भगवान ने भगवद्गीता अध्याय 2 श्लोक 42 में किया है | मेष, वृषभ नाम के वनस्पती भी पाये जाते है | और वनस्पती, फलों के छाल के अंदर जो मुलायम भाग होता है उसें भी संस्कृत में मांस कहा जाता है ऐसा ऑनलाईन संस्कृत शब्दकोश में लिखा है | (fleshy part or pulp of fruite)

वेदों के यज्ञसामुग्री संबंधित मंत्रोमें दधी, शहद के साथ मांस शब्द का फल का गूदा ये वाला अर्थ ही ठीक ठीक बैठता है | यदि दधी, शहद के साथ मांस शब्द का अर्थ पशूमांस लगाया जाए तो हवि खानेवाले लोगोंको रोग हो जाएँगे | क्योंकी दूध के पदार्थ के साथ मांस पेट में मिश्रित होकर रोग पैदा करता है यह आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक भी मानते है | इसिलिए उन मंत्रो में मांस शब्द का अर्थ वनस्पती या फल का गूदा ही सही निकलता है |
यदि किसी ने पुछा की पैड पौधों को काटने में हिंसा नही होती? तो इस विषय पर महाभारत वनपर्वणी में धर्मव्याध के उपाख्यान में भी वनस्पतीयों में पशूओं की तुलना में जडत्व का प्रमाण अधिक और चेतना का प्रमाण कम होने के कारण वनस्पतीयों को काटते समय की वेदना ये पशूओं को काटते समय की वेदना से ना के बराबर बतायी गयी है | आधुनिक विज्ञान भी कहता है की वनस्पतीयों में मध्यवर्ती चेता संस्था ( central nervous system ) पशूओं की तरह विकसित नही होती इसिलिए वनस्पतीयों को होनेवाली वेदना की अनुभूती ये पशूओंको होने वाली वेदनाके अनुभूती के ना के बराबर है. घर बनाते समय जो कीटक, वनस्पतीयां उखाडी जाती है, उनके शांती के लिए रक्षोघ्न जैसे विधी भी बताया गये है |
इज्यायज्ञश्रुतिकृतैर्यो मार्गैरबुधोअधम: |
हन्याज्जन्तून् मांसगृघ्नु: स वै नरकाभांनर: ||
जो मांसलोभी अधम मनुष्य श्रुति में बताये गये यज्ञ के नामपर पशूओंकी हिंसा करते है वे नरकगामी होते है |
संदर्भ : महाभारत, अनुशासनपर्व, दानधर्मपव, अध्याय 115, श्लोक 4
लेकीन ऋग्वेद मंडल 1, सुक्त 162, 163, 164 में अश्वमेध के बारे में बताया गया है | मैने सुना है की वेदवाणी परोक्ष है | उपर उपर से पढनेवालो को यह अर्थ लगता है की वहा अश्व की हत्या की गयी है | लेकीन सखोलतासे अभ्यास करने पर पता चलता है की वहाँ अश्व का अर्थ कुछ और ही है | जैसे की ऋग्वेद के अश्व का भाषांतर गीताप्रेस वालों ने अग्नी किया है तो दयानंद सरस्वतीने सूर्य किया है | वहाँ लिखा है की वह अश्व (सूर्य, अग्नी) पानी से प्रकट (सूर्योदय के समय) होता दिखता है तो कभी जमीन से | वो आकाश में पंछी की भाती भ्रमण करता हुआ नजर आता है | उसका मुख सोने का है और पैर लोहे के | सूर्य भी सोने जैसा दिखता है और सूर्य के गाभा में लोह है ऐसा आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक भी बताते है | तैतरिय संहिता में उस अश्व को symbolic (प्रतिकात्मक) बताया गया है | जैसे की
अश्व का
मस्तिष्क : रात
आँख : सूर्य
श्वास : वायू
कान : चंद्रमा
आँख बंद करना और खोलना : रात और दिन
अंग : ऋतू
बाल : किरण
हड्डीया : तारे

अंडकोष : आकाश और पृथ्वी
जब वो चबाता है तब बिजली गिरती है, आकाश में घडघडाहत होती है |
ऐसा बताया गया है | यह बात तो स्पष्ट करती है की वहाँ अश्व का अर्थ भौतिक अश्व नही लेना चाहिए | लेकीन कुछ आचार्य वेदोंमें पशूबली का समर्थन भी करते है |
सुरा मत्स्या मधु मांसमासवं कृसरौदनम्।
धूर्तै: प्रवर्तितं ह्येतन्नैतद् वेदेषु कल्पितम्॥
मानान्मोहाच्च लोभाच्च लौलरूमेतत्प्रकल्पितम्।

सुरा, आसव, मधु, मांस और मछली तथा तिल और चावलकी खिचडी - इन सब वस्तुओंको धूर्तोंने यज्ञमें प्रचलित कर दिया है | वेदोंमें इनके उपयोगका विधान नही है | उन धूर्तोंने अभिमान, मोह और लोभके वशीभूत होकर उन वस्तुओंके प्रति अपनी यह लोलुपता ही प्रकट की है |

एक सच्चा संत शाकाहारी नहीं बल्कि सात्विक होता है। लहसुन प्याज जो कि घोर तामसिक होता है उसे भी शाकाहार के श्रेणी में रखा जाता है किन्तु संत या भक्त इसे नहीं पाते हैं। शाकाहारी माँसाहारी पश्चिम कृत है जिसका कोई तर्क नहीं है। हमारे सनातन धर्म में भोजन को सात्विक राजसिक और तामसिक में बाँटा गया है और संत महात्मा तथा शास्त्र सभी सनातनियों को सात्विक भोजन ग्रहण करने का उपदेश देते हैं।

Dear Admin, You have made many wonderful videos and I'm follower of you from last 1-2 years. While watching this video I thought you will also talk about tantra shastra and make an unbiased video but you didn't.
You took reference of vedas, scholars and even budh dharma but not Tantra Shastra. Why?
Tantra gives the ability to attend ultimate goal to evey human being based on the nature of human (Satvik, Rajasik and Tamsik). You didn't talked about 10 mahavidyas and how they are worshipped and by which padhatti by tantra sadhakas who are forms of ultimate shakti i.e Adhya Shakti.
In some of your videos you mentioned about adhya para Shakti and you believe in that but you directly ignored 10 mahavidyas which are supreme manifestation of her. In Tantra there are also sattvik sadhanas called dakshinacharya tantra and tamsik sadhanas one of which is called Kaula tantra actually starts which has a base of panch makar or pancha tatva i.e, madya (Alcohol), māṃsa (Meat), matsya (Fish), mudrā (grain), and maithuna (sex). How can you ignore these paths. Tantra gurus and its scholars says do not judge any other sects or sampradays because they might have any practices which you don't like or follow or connect with.
Have you researched on tantra shashtra and came to the conclusion of what is wrong and right? If pashu bali is wrong then our ancestors would not have got any results and tantra or any other practice which include pasu bali would have ended. You have right to follow whichever path you connect with but this doesn't give you the right to talk incorrect about other paths. I totally respect you and your path, I myself was born and bought up in vaishanism family but i still believe in other sects and there practices. I myself do basic tantra sadhana which i connect to which doesn't include pashu bali.
And to viewers who are commenting about the admins IIT degree and its compitance, i would suggest them that you need to re-think twice and actually do some analysis and survey on tantra shastra without coming to conclusions.
Tantra was always portrayed as black magic thing and people raising there voice against pashu bali who themselves eat meat. (Irony) and you have portrayed wrong information to your viewers.
I request viewers whenever if you come accross temples which offers pashu bali and of you're against it, don't visit there at 1st place or if you visit by mistake then do no discourage and speak things about it which you will regret it later. I'm talking in terms of your downfall in material or spiritual progress.

For Rigved ( till 7th mandal) and whole yajurveda you can refer maharshi dayanand saraswati's translation. But maharsi died before he could translate (8th---10th) mandal of Rigved and whole samved and atharvaveda. Unfortunately not a single translation even that of arya samaj translation of samved and atharvaveda are not 100% authentic. So for that you need to struggle 😢.

We need to magnify our perspective of Sanatan Dharma.. I want to clarify I am not a propagator of Pashubali and all things I myself do Sadhana which does not include Pashubali.. Ok now what my point is in Sanatan Dharma there are many sects which follow different type of Puja Paddhati some of them are belong to Dakshinacharya Paddhati which is normally we see in our society like Vaishnav Puja Paddhati but some of them are belong to Vaamacharya Paddhati that we see very less but they are also part of our society like Aghor, Kol Tantra Puja Paddhati etc. It is our choice what path we follow but we should not banish or belittle other paths which also present in our ancient systems.. And to the admin of this channel I want to say you are doing very good work and I am not in any position to criticise you but for a suggestion I want to advice you that you should also read more about Tantra Sadhna and it's practices and the more important the Devi Devatas of this sect like Bhairav Baba Tara maa Mahakali and many more.. And you can also talk to people like Rajshrinandi ji and Bhavesh Yuj ji for detailed discussion..

गरुडपुराण में पशुबलि के विषय में लिखा है कि -
"वेदोक्तयज्ञादन्यत्र स्वात्मार्थं पशुमारकः(वैतरण्यां पतति)"
(गरुडपुराण अध्याय ४ मन्त्र २० से)
अर्थात्
वेद में कहे गये यज्ञों के अलावा खुद के लिए पशु को मारनेवाला नर्क की वैतरणी नदी में जा गिरता है।

In ramayan and mahabharat, pashu bali and meat consumption is well documented, and whole debate on whether bali and meat consumption is justified or not according to dharma was also extensively cover in mahabharat at that time with an open ending. I am not in favor or against bali pratha and meat consumption, but just want to share my research as mahabharat and ramayan are considered over history which is actually happened unless like mythology.
Hi even I m bengoli. Animal sacrifice happen In every village of West Bengal during kali puja and day by day each village tries to increase the number of animal sacrifice to show how superior and prosper they are.
I have witnessed it when I was small it hurts and from then onwards I became vegetarian.
But I have also heard about a story of zamindar who stopped animal sacrifice and instead started distributing sweets as a prasad.
I feel people here need more of awareness, no one knows what is there in ved and upanishads they only listen to brahmins and do so.

This ritual of animal sacrifice is not in the Vedic way but comes in sakht Pooja. It's a necessity in vamachar Tantra. Pooja without panchmakar is not possible

To understand the translation we must always check at the background of the translator. There would exist bias to more or less extent. Since Sayan was from shakt tradition he would endorse animal sacrifice in vedas while Vaishnavas would oppose and refute animal sacrifice quoting Bhagwat Geeta.

I would like to disagree with this video with many points.
First of all the "great" daarshnik who this individual is referring to is an individual who goes by the name of udayveer shastri. Who ofc would certainly have less credibility than many other divine saints.
Now, as per the claim of this video , the problems with understanding of the shastras started around 13th century, right?
So... Let's pick up individuals before that period.
Brahmaasutra Adhyaya 3 pada 1 says ( and this is me paraphrasing ) that one doesn't incur any sin because of the Bali because it is done in a righteous way for the Gods.
Shankaracharya (788 AD ) has agreed to this in his wor.
Ramanujachary in his Sri Bhashya has agreed to this.
Madhavachary in his Dvaita writings has agreed to this.
Sri baldevs vidhyabhushans in his gaudivifya vaishnavo has agreed to this.
Ramakrishna paramhans ( the spiritual guru of swami vivekananda ) who is said to be the most intense Kali upasak in the last 200 years used to support and do bali to the maa on certain days.
Now coming to the Ashwamedha , if it wasn't a sacrificial ritual why did the Charvaka darshan ( which almost became non existent after 12th century ) condemned it ? ( Fir those of you who don't know charvaka darshan is an atheistic school of thought which doesn't believe in the supreme value of the vedas )
Now coming to other texts. If bali isn't the way why is it described in such details in kalika puran? Why is it mentioned in Devi bhagwat puran? Shakta agams? Why is devi kamakhya maa known as chaangbalipriya ( one who loves goat sacrifice )
Why is it mentioned in yogini tantra? ( For those of you who want to curse the moment they read the word tantra , Shiva started tantra , the navratri we so love and adore , the durga puja , all of it is tantrik in nature )
Why did abhinav gupta in Kashmiri Shaivism gives importance to bali? He could've done it in other ways as well.
Nobody is asking you to take or give bali , but if you don't belong to a certain sampradaya, don't comment on it's practices for the sake of views.
As per the lessons from Buddha. Buddha was an extremely pacifist individual. So I would rather not take his take on yagna as very valid. Since he was an individual of great calibre but of different gentre.

However, the flip side of the story, though not that widely known, is still practiced in a few places around the world. Certain Gods and Goddesses in Hinduism are known for being destroyers of evil forces, which includes the killing of demons and drinking their blood. Hence, it is believed that to please these deities, similar offerings must be made - that in the form of animal sacrifices.
For example, the Goddess Kali is known as the Goddess of Death and Doomsday. As per the religious text Devi Mahatmya, she is known for defeating the demon Raktabija. Raktabija had a unique ability where he could spawn a replicate of himself for every drop of his blood that is shed onto the ground. To defeat the demon, Kali had to drink every single drop of Raktabija’s blood, leading to her acquiring the taste of the demon’s blood. The Goddess is also typically found with her blood-smeared tongue stuck out, showing her thirst for the blood of the demon. As such, there are Kali temples around the world that offer animal blood sacrifices for the Goddess, such as goats and chickens, as offerings. This contradicts the advocacy of viewing animals as sacred and respecting their lives in general Hinduism.
These practices definitely demonstrate a huge step taken backward in terms of Hinduism advocating care for the lives of animals, and respecting them as fellow living beings.
Nevertheless, the bulk of Hindus condone these animal sacrifices, and they find other ways to appease the deities such as by offering fruits or even fire-walking. Furthermore, the extremity of having to sacrifice animals for Durga and Kali has contributed to the formation of a separate category for Durga and Kali devotees, known as Shaktism. Therefore, the practices of this category of Hindus, particularly the sacrificing of animals, is seen as an opposing notion to the central idea of Hinduism.

Devi Mahatmyam, Chapter 8, Verses 10-12:
"ततः करालं महाकालं दक्षिणे कालिकां तथा।

मैं उत्तराखंड से हू वहां गंगोलीहाट नामक जगह है जहाँ महाकाली का मुख्य मंदिर है जिसमे युगो से बकरे की बलि दी जा रही है अभी कुछ समय पहले वहां पशुबली रोक दी ग्यी dm के आदेश पर उसके बाद से वहां देवी प्रकोप इतना बढ़ गया प्राकृतिक आपदाएँ बाघ द्वारा इंसानों पर हमले और पहाड़ो का टूटना सब अचानक से शुरू गया और तब जाके dm को लोगो के भारी विरोध के बाद आदेश वापस लेना पढ़ गया उसके बाद सब नॉर्मल हो गया .. अगर देवी देवता को बलि नहीं चाहिए होती तो ये क्या था?ऐसे सैकड़ो वाक्ये और भी हैँ 😎 जैसे इंसान हैँ वैसे ही देवी देवता भी हैँ तामसिक देवता भी है और सात्विक देवता भी सबको अपना भोग लगता है यहाँ हिस्ट्री से इन देवताओं को समझना मुश्किल ही नहीं नामुमकिन है उत्तराखंड पूरा शाक्त और शैव उपासको का एरिया है यहाँ देविय चमत्कार आम बात है 😎

Satpath brahman 11.7.1 describes the benifits of animal sacrifing( I'm not supporting it I'm purely against of this stupidity but telling the refrence only)
THE ANIMAL SACRIFICE[1].
1. He performs the animal sacrifice. Now the animal sacrifice means cattle: thus, when he performs the animal sacrifice (paśubandha, the binding of the animal), it is in order that he may be possessed of cattle. Let him perform it at his home, thinking, 'I will bind (attach) cattle to my home.' Let him perform it in the season of abundant fodder, thinking, 'I will bind to myself cattle in a season of abundant fodder.' For, whilst he is offering[2], the Sacrificer's fires become worn out, and so does the Sacrificer, along with the worn-out fires, and along with the Sacrificer his house and cattle.
2. And when he performs the animal sacrifice, he renews his fires, and so, along with the renewal of his fires, does the Sacrificer (renew himself), and along with the Sacrificer his house and cattle. And beneficial to life, indeed, is that redemption of his own self[3]; for whilst he is offering the Sacrificer's fires long for flesh; they set their minds on the Sacrificer and harbour designs on him. In other fires[4] people do indeed cook any kind of meat, but these (sacrificial fires) have no desire for any other flesh but this (sacrificial animal), and for him to whom they belong.
3. Now, when he performs the animal offering. he thereby redeems himself--male by male, for the victim is a male, and the Sacrificer is a male. And this, indeed, to wit, flesh, is the best kind of food: he thus becomes an eater of the best kind of food. Let not a year pass by for him without his offering; for the year means life: it is thus immortal life he thereby confers upon himself.

An excellent video which clears all confusions and myths which have been practiced by lots of Hindus. I as Bengali used to be a hard core non vegetarian, till i started loving all animals. I loved dogs cows cats which we don't eat as meat but then i realised all animals and birds fish , each have same rights to live like a human do. I took an oath that i will dedicate my life to serve for the animals birds fish and be their voice who cannot speak for their right to live happily. Thank you very much for providing such information which will give me power to fight against those who are only killing the animals in the name of religion

But according to kalikapuran which is also called Kali tantra shatra, there is a adhyay called rudhiraadhyay translated as bloodepisodes which states that nar Bali can also be given to kali but the condition is that it should be given only if the person who is going to be offered as Bali should approve it(iska matlb us admi aur raja ke marji se).It also specifys which animal should be offered Bali to which form of shakti and in vamacara tantra it is not about killing animal inside us means in vamacara tantra we need to perform practical Bali not therotically inside us.There is also specification that if Bali is being offered to Kali then it is to which form of kali.?.It should not be Daksina Kali or Krishna Kali,It should be bhadra Kali or shamshan Kali So Bali should be discussed mostly in terms of tantra and not Veda.Coming to point about Veda so some vedic yagyas included and when bali is mandatory it is mandatory if you talk about using substitute like coconut,the result would also be like a substitute and remember the story of Lav and Kush they stole the royal horse of ashwamedhyagya which was later performed by Lord Ram it means (ashwa = horse and medh = sacrifice) means it is a yagya of horse. Bali is mostly offered to ugra forms of gods.
Aswamedh doesn't mean horse killing it is used for horse sacrifice. The horse is left free in this yagn. For an instance you can have in satpath brahman:- Rashtram va ashwamedh meaning :- Horse is the symbolisation of nation . I don't know why guys are supporting Vali .

Actually we have many shstras not only bhagwat gita kalikapuran is one of 18
maha purans like shiv puran, vishnu puran, Devi bhagwat puran etc and It is not written in 17th century it was written way back earlier by rishi Markandeya who wrote mritunjaya mantra of Shiva. And if you read veda ashwa medh is actually means horse sacrifice. And according to mahavidya tantra all the ten mahavidyas are bali priya and their formal worship is only done by vamacara. And if you read kali sahastranam meaning 1000 names of maa kali the word "bali priya" and "Rudhira priya" comes many times which means she love blood and bali
@@Tecno_playz Bro I don't have any clue about Tantric texts but ashwamedh doesn't mean horse killing. Sacrifice means त्याग. In hindi त्याग means leaving something with detachment. Vedas itself never prefer animal killing until unless they harm you and your society or your nation( during war horse and elephants ) . In ashwamedh the horse is left to roam around different kingdoms. Therefore it's called ashwamedh ( sacrifice:- त्याग of ashwa ). Atharvaveda (10/1/29) prohibits horse killing (गाम, अश्वं, पुरुषं मा वधिः):- Don't kill cows, horses and humans.

Hi even I m bengoli. Animal sacrifice happen In every village of West Bengal during kali puja and day by day each village tries to increase the number of animal sacrifice to show how superior and prosper they are.
I have witnessed it when I was small it hurts and from then onwards I became vegetarian.
But I have also heard about a story of zamindar who stopped animal sacrifice and instead started distributing sweets as a prasad.
I feel people here need more of awareness, no one knows what is there in ved and upanishads they only listen to brahmins and do so.
Maximum bengoli brahmins are nonvegetarian which arise a question on them being brahmins. They don't follow what brahmans are supposed to do.
