Mi 11 does capture more detail on the main camera as you say, dynamic range is better on some but not on others. Your model Anna gave a hint, the P50 is geared towards mainland China, so skin tones are lighter as they prefer, this affect effect the other details in the photos. I like to have a photo of what I actually see when taking a photo, I do not see every leaf or blades of grass, I see leaves and grass except for in immediate sight all the rest go out of focus. I do not like a camera that captures images that are not true to life. For this reason Samsung and iPhone fail and unfortunately so does Mi 11 ultra. When I take a photo, there is a mood, a certain feeling that made me take the photo, I want to capture that in the photo, not some artificial or HDR reality. So if we take off the affect of skin tones and accept such an affect causes other minor differences what do we get (Since if the P50 gets released in the West the skin tone lightening will be corrected - as always.) main camera on P50 is more true to life. Sound is definitely better on recording, Mi 11 Ultra appeared better on periscope but I need to see more photos to give a definite answer. On selfies what do we want...a clear photo of me and my friends, not much else, both were good and in this respect I think P50 slightly edged it. As for night mode a difficult decision. What do we see versus what we could see with enhanced vision. I prefer what we see in some cases and what I wish I could see in others... So this is a draw. For me, in an exceptionally close contest Huawei P50 wins only because the main camera images does not over enhance and create a false vision reality, but gives a near to reality image.

My wife's iPhone 12 sometimes gets through 2 days straight after a full charge but my phone never makes it more than a day. I have to keep the screen at Full HD and 120 hz, just to get a day of good usage. Plus the buttons are also quite stiff and small, very hard to press and find as well. Apart from these issues there are two other issues as well, Firstly, volume level varies in different applications and games, for eg the sound out on maximum level isn't good at all in COD, Amazon Prime, Disney Hotstar, but it's great on UA-cam and Netflix. Second and an important issue is there is color shift happening when the screen is set at 120 hz, when quickly swiping from one application to another, the colors on screen get light shaded and then suddenly shift to the original shade - It is mainly noticeable in the low brightness settings. Please do check on your Mi 11 ultra, if you too find these issues I've noticed on mine.

Both really good. Mic from the Mi 11 Ultra felt more clearer so that's my preference. In Xiaomi's selfie video, it looked like there was a filter and that's pleasing in a way tho tbh. Exposure control on both need improvement in video I reckon. And looking at Daytime, Night time, Indoor pics, I'm totally blown away. Both were MIND-BLOWING, very hard to choose one. Very good to see mi 11 ultra camera vs Huawei p50 pro camera comparison I would prefer Huawei p50 pro because night mode is awesome and skin tone some time good some time orange in colour ...... ❤️❤️ Mr. Hand's Tech Talk does Huawei p50 pro have 200X zoom?
this review is croocked. E.g. the Huawei p50 has for sure a better dynamic range. The Xiaomi mi ultra shouldnt stand a chance in terms of dynamic range.
Dxomark used a different version of the phone. It was the Kirin 9000 version which has a completely different ISP so the photos could be very different due to different chip and self developed ISP on the Kirin 9000 one. This comparison uses the Snapdragon 888 version of the p50pro
Please don't forget the Xiaomi is a little bit older and had received some camera software updates ahead of the P50 PRO. And u should be comparing P50 pro plus to the Xiaomi phone
The Huawei p50pro by kirin chipset should be in this video because Huawei by itself has produced it so it's so more balanced by other parts of the phone and the camera
Selfie video on mi 11 ultra is ahead it has good stabilization and well managed exposure skin tone on both phone are similar. When it come to daylight photography p50 pro looks better. In daylight selfie I will give it to p50 pro better exposure, colors, and skin tones. Lowlight photography I think mi 11 ultra done better well managed highlights, details and textures. In 4k video both are comparable except for increased highlights of p50 pro and low in dynamic range.
Interesting comparison. Swayed back and forth in daytime photos but i preferred more of the p50pro daytime pics. Nighttime the mi11 ultra was clearly better. Indoor the mi11 ultra. I suspect the p50 pro is not as good at night as the p40 pro due to the smaller main sensor and no RYYB technology. Video is almost equal. Selfies p50pro.
Mi 11 ultra has set up a standard and has solidified it's position in the camera department..maybe the iPhone 13 series can surpass it... September will be interesting
For me, the P50 Pro is the overall winner in this comparison. I like warmer colour tones. One thing, I've learned from taking photos with the Mi 10 is, that you shouldn't rely on Auto mode too much, as the white balance kinda sucks.
But still I believe it is not better than p30 pro, hope update will fix this soon(p30 pro gives natural pics(after the update, before it was over saturated))
@@chandrarajtr3674 Yah I was comparing my p50 pro with my p30 pro and a lot of times I preferred the p30 pro. The p50 pro was over brightened and not as sharp. But I excpect updates to fix a lot of that and for the p50pro plus to be even better
Again a great review 👍 and still the winner for me is mi 11 ultra. I will always get the phone that will get me a most natural color and great dinamic range photo. The P50 pro is saturated for my taste. But I love the night photo from the p50 pro. And I noticed at the beginning the selfie video of the p50 pro I bit shaky compared to the mi 11ultra. Thanks man!
In these comparison video pls also include some daytime and night AI off photos with and without hdr also in potrait for better understanding. Just a few will be enough to know the quality

@@dalileddineslimani6399 XIAOMI pics are flat, very low 3d feeling of the scene. This is typical XIA "signature" and it was always so (starting from XIA 4 and so on). Why is video recording only at 1080p 30fps and 4K 30fps? Even mid-range phones have stabilization at that resolution, what's wrong? Is Huawei's 4K 60fps video recording less stable than its predecessor? I'm disappointed that something is being covered up.

i know a youtube video is never straightforward to tell everything but at least this video made me a happy 11ultra owner. night-time and video is where any extra against going struggling really counts and this is where xiaomi is just better. also i almost always use main camera for selfies using the rear display. daytime i think i like p50 better. it doesn't flatten effects of sunlight the way xiaomi does? but on the other hand the colors of p50 seem even more saturated than xiaomi's a bit too often, and xiaomi is quite saturated already. if i had to choose again (not even digging to operating system side of things here and now) i'd choose xiaomi again. sadly, even xiaomi is still not a camera killer and doesn't make me ignore the fact my compact camera stopped working a while ago. as compact camera market seems dead, i really hope phone's even somewhat catch up in 1-2 years or something... and maybe they do. manufacturer's getting more and more bold with the camera bump is a good sign.

Mr.Hand's Tech Talk I have a question does Huawei p50 pro has 200x zoom.??
NOT hanstech, its HansTechTalk
It has 100x Zoom, but they say up to 200x cause they've calculated Ultra wide
100x Zoom X 0.5x Ultra wide
@@HansTechTalk sorry by mistake ❤️
Both really good. Mic from the Mi 11 Ultra felt more clearer so that's my preference. In Xiaomi's selfie video, it looked like there was a filter and that's pleasing in a way tho tbh. Exposure control on both need improvement in video I reckon.
And looking at Daytime, Night time, Indoor pics, I'm totally blown away. Both were MIND-BLOWING, very hard to choose one. Human subjects in Huawei needs improvement though. Selfies on P50 better than Xiaomi.
Finally, I'd choose Mi 11 Ultra over Huawei P50.
And Han, this was a well done video. I like the way you do camera comparisons. Every aspect is covered, short and crisp. Please keep making more 👍👍

Very good to see mi 11 ultra camera vs Huawei p50 pro camera comparison I would prefer Huawei p50 pro because night mode is awesome and skin tone some time good some time orange in colour ...... ❤️❤️ Mr. Hand's Tech Talk does Huawei p50 pro have 200X zoom?
don't know how dxomark gave higher score to p50 Pro than mi 11 ultra, in daylight condition mi 11 ultra photos looks better & natural than p50 Pro
dxomark isn't reliable.
this review is croocked. E.g. the Huawei p50 has for sure a better dynamic range.
Do p50 pro vs s21 ultra, please.
Perhaps zoom would be better on Kirin 9000 variant? What do you guys think?
You may be right, this is the first time they are giving snapdragon chip,so it may not be that much optimised
@@chandrarajtr3674 Check out Ben's gadget reviews newest video. P50 Pro with Kirin is better than the S21 Ultra at 10x zoom.

He is very underrated
The Huawei p50pro by kirin chipset should be in this video because Huawei by itself has produced it so it's so more balanced by other parts of the phone and the camera
Maybe you are right, but unfortunately he don't have it
Nice Job, u just earned yourself a new subscriber
Awesome, thank you!
In 4k video both are comparable except for increased highlights of p50 pro and low in dynamic range.
glad you pick up this phone and did this comparison, top vlogger seems to disregard this p50 Huawei phone. Great video comparison.

@@HansTechTalk done!
Thank you for your detailed comparison. I love HW but the portrait from P50 pro looks unreal somehow.
It really is!
Huawei P50 Pro will be a beast after 2 months, they need time to polish the software
Why does the mi 11 ultra look a lot more saturated then usual?
Hey brother lot's of mobile launching this month..iqoo8 ,samsung folding phone, Motorola .. Are you going to review any of it! please let us know
I will skip Samsung & Motorola cause those are way too expensive in China

@@Sumit.19 Yes I will
@@HansTechTalk thank you.. You rock 🤘
I have borrowed my Friend's Mate 40 Pro and P50 Pro lost to that Mate 40 Pro.

Mi 11 ultra has set up a standard and has solidified it's position in the camera department..maybe the iPhone 13 series can surpass it... September will be interesting
That's how i think 👍
Bro,I have a question you told mi11 ultra have some issue, what is that issue?
Issue? You mean the newest update?
@@HansTechTalk yes,that issue
@@breakingthewall2112 I was also a p30 pro user,I felt same
Wow, xiaomi has improved a lot, I remember xiaomi 8 was a trash and then they started to do some r&d and spent a lot of money to come here
P50 pro comed with natural and smoth camera ..so I think Huawei is clear winner
I would pick mi 11 ultra as winner... It looks more natural.. P50 makes picture beautify..
Congrats

Again a great review 👍 and still the winner for me is mi 11 ultra. I will always get the phone that will get me a most natural color and great dinamic range photo. The P50 pro is saturated for my taste. But I love the night photo from the p50 pro. And I noticed at the beginning the selfie video of the p50 pro I bit shaky compared to the mi 11ultra.
Thanks man!

You definitely forgot switch off beauty mode on P50 pro.
i have mentioned clearly, I have taken all the photos in auto mode, didn't change any settings, its like all was on default state
Daytime & selfie-P50 pro
Other aspects- Mi11U
BTW you forgot to tell that p50P's main sensor has much wide field of view.
@@dalileddineslimani6399 XIAOMI pics are flat, very low 3d feeling of the scene. This is typical XIA "signature" and it was always so (starting from XIA 4 and so on). That so called better DR is nice technical term but when the photo is flat you have to add contrast, and even more tonal contrast for different sizes of pic elements. Not only P50 looks better on screen - it will destroy XIA when printing - if anybody do such a thing nowadays.
Why is video recording only at 1080p 30fps and 4K 30fps? Even mid-range phones have stabilization at that resolution, what's wrong? Is Huawei's 4K 60fps video recording less stable than its predecessor? I'm disappointed that something is being covered up.
@hans tech talk does mi 11ultra have focus issue on night images... If I tap to focus on view finder picture comes out super sharp full of details but if I don't tap to focus picture comes out blurry
It is sad to see that Huawei has finally been dragged to their knees 😔😔😔 the US sanction can be seen in the lack of improvement in their software.
I have heard they are selling their smartphone business
They've sold Honor brand
@@bhatianayan honestly, it hurts. I think other brands should learn from what happened to Huawei. Now it is safe to say that the safest phones people will be able to buy are iPhone, Galaxy and Google Pixel.
@@HansTechTalk I didn't really care that nuch about Honor, but Huawei had a bright future. The only brand that had me out of the Samsung addiction since there is no way on earth I would use iPhone.
Thanks you very much for that review comparison
I'm wondering if p50 pro can be a good phone for doing vlogg video
Front video ?
Thank you
Yes, definitely
Huawei P50 Pro is better in selfie photos & selfie portraits and Mi 11 Ultra is better in low light condition & videography.
Please Test Honor magic 3 pro compare to huawei 50 pro.
I think they pretty similar but Xiaomi has improved a lot in cameras p50 pro is a bit better in selfies and in terms of video recording i will pick the mi 11 ultra because l like a bit saturated and stabilization is better.
Huawei always perform beauty effect even its turn off. Only Asus and iphone approach to realistic.
W tej klasie telefonów zdjęcia bardzo porównywalne. Tylko jedna uwaga. Nie wiem skąd zachwyt Huawei skoro ma problemy z odzwierciedleniem podstawowego niebieskiego koloru?
i know a youtube video is never straightforward to tell everything but at least this video made me a happy 11ultra owner.
night-time and video is where any extra against going struggling really counts and this is where xiaomi is just better. also i almost always use main camera for selfies using the rear display.
daytime i think i like p50 better. it doesn't flatten effects of sunlight the way xiaomi does? but on the other hand the colors of p50 seem even more saturated than xiaomi's a bit too often, and xiaomi is quite saturated already.
if i had to choose again (not even digging to operating system side of things here and now) i'd choose xiaomi again.
sadly, even xiaomi is still not a camera killer and doesn't make me ignore the fact my compact camera stopped working a while ago.
as compact camera market seems dead, i really hope phone's even somewhat catch up in 1-2 years or something... and maybe they do. manufacturer's getting more and more bold with the camera bump is a good sign.
you can truly trust this guy, have been following him for a year and he is always true to his viewers
@@omatujhesalam yes. most influencers are just advertising their products instead of actually reviewing and there's no way in hell they haven't done their videos exactly the way manufacturers have told them.
