  • Ruby Falls Cave is one of the must-see attractions in the Southeastern part of the United States and is home to the tallest and deepest underground cascading waterfall open for public viewing. This is an adventure we highly recommend if you are in the area!
Ruby Falls is located deep inside Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga Tennessee near the Tennessee & Georgia state border.
The cave was hidden under Lookout Mountain until Leo Lambert discovered it in 1928. He knew he found something special and immediately began to turn it into a tourist attraction.

That’s so cool. I grew up in that area, been there many times and never knew the history of Ruby falls, so thanks for that. It’s funny what you take for granted when it’s always been there.

@Scenic City Woodturning Thank you for watching our video & yes! Sometimes when you live close to something you don’t pay attention to the history! 😭 We were so thankful to be able to see this amazing cave & thought it was so amazing we wanted to share! 🤩

Whoa!! Very cool!! That was pretty neat.
Over here in the NW, Washington State has the Ape Caves on Mt. St. Helens. They're lava tubes that you can hike down into, but they are very dark, damp and very cold.....nothing at all like what you two just experienced.
