I have seen all the videos on your channel. Well Done. Were I closer to MA I would visit but as I am on the West Coast that is prohibitively far. I own a Greenfield die set (with box); yes, I am a tool collector, a machinist (hobbyist), a gun enthusiast, and LOVE WHAT YOU ARE DOING! My hat is off to your whole staff. Thank You.
That's great! We have a limited number of metalworking industry films remaining to do. Perhaps we will find more, but we also plan in using our archive to begin narrating specific histories on industry topics. We hope these will be well received and that our online presence will continue to serve many who are unable to visit personally!
I'm just over in Southbridge!! I will be visiting the museum very soon! I had no idea that there was a physical museum. The old videos you have are fascinating....the museum should be even better!! :-)
Hello Jim, nice to be here and to come along on this tour. The website is good for us to navigate. The factory images locations are priceless, we wonder what these old manufacturing facilities could share if they could talk plans secrets techniques employee gossip what have you, it is great you have created this museum and yes we watch your videos from the war department about machining and being a machinist they are priceless to these two micro-machinists so thank you, Lance & Patrick.
The most gossipy thing we have online is the Greenfield Tap & Die World War 2 newsletter, Leads & Angles. They are available as PDF documents and you can read all about what “Joe” did during his vacation, the new babies, the war effort and the doings of the homefront crew and the GTD men and women overseas. I currently have all the issues up to September 1943 online. Look in our website's sidebar for it.
You are so generous giving your time for this really worthwhile project - I intend to come over to see this magnificent facility can I thank you on behalf of everyone for your generosity in keeping this history safe.
We just started a T-Shirt promotion! Our local sponsor hosts the shopping page and cart on their website. The links are obvious on our website. Thanks!

I find it no coincidence that great companies like Starrett, & Greenfield were located there. Many of those tools I still own.
Sounds like a pretty cool place.
Thank you and everybody that works to do this.
Is that where the Acme Hardware Company was located?
The Museum is located at Mill and Mead Streets, on the Green River, in Greenfield Massachusetts
😎👍
Does the museum have an online store?
