There will never be a group like the BeeGees again. They were blessed with tremendous talent. Mo and Robin as well as Andy left too soon. I am sure that they had their ups and downs but they prevailed in an ever changing music business. May Mo, Robin and Andy rest in peace. I hope that Barry will be around for a long time to come.

It doesn't matter if Andy wasn't a Bee Gees member (although it would have been great if he did become a member), he was part of the Gibb family and they were ONE. There will never be a family as talented as the Gibb family. They were the ONE.
In an interview Barry said they could always tell when they had a hit on their hands and this song they walked out of the studio knowing it was One.

Well ... There were these other guys from Liverpool, who made pretty good singles themselves. But yes, this overlooked gem by the BG's is one of their best songs.

Barry Gibb was so “easy on the eye.” I think he was the most handsome in his 40s and 50s. Another thing about these guys, you could tell that they felt the music right along with their fans. Many bands and sings stand pretty still while performing, not the Bee Gees. They like the songs as much as we do.
I don't know, he was drop-dead gorgeous in his 20's.
Each had a perfect spot in this band. I know of no other singing group that I have remained true to. I truly miss MO and Rob. Taken way too soon. They still bring a tear when I think of them gone. Rest easy. Love forever and always. Deme in Bama

there will always be one barry. it's been a one sided love affair on my part for many years now. ♥
They are a truly under-appreciated act. They managed to chart in 3 consecutive decades, even when many had counted them out. Not an easy feat. Fleetwood Mac, Kylie Minogue and Cher but not many others have achieved a three decade appearance on the charts in the U.S.
I was just a small boy when I first heard them, so I was oblivious to the whole Disco backlash. I just enjoyed the music because it was just so damn good! They will always be tops in my book. Won't ever catch me knocking such a hugely talented trio.
The BeeGees lead by music genius, Barry Gibb, have been able to write and perform and maintain their wonderful magic for 60 years! They wrote over 1000 songs and have touched our hearts, young and old, for decades. We miss Mo, Robin& Andy very much! Long live Barry!!🙏🏻👍💕👍🙏🏻👍💕🙏🏻👍🙏🏻🥰

What's crazy is that people think this was some kind of comeback album or something. It wasn't the Bee Gees coming back to the world. They'd been there all along. It was the world coming back to the Bee Gees. An amazing album. So obviously and blatantly late 80s music, but absolutely stands up in 2022. You cannot deny talent and theirs was obvious in every song, from the moment the first note hit the ether to the final mix. Genius in every way.

Super long history with these three going back to my earliest memories. First song I remember hearing was Gotta Get A Message To You and Fanny. My grandma always had the radio on in her kitchen. I got to hear all their music in her kitchen. 💕💕 😁

Maurice was the all around musician of the Bee Gees. He mastered keyboards, guitar and of course the harmony singing. That's not to put down Barry and Robin. Man, they were/ are genuine masters of their craft!
I listen to them n th mornings while I drink my coffee, & different times during th day & then when I go to bed at nt. I love them sooo much.

How I. The hell could a group compose most if not all of the music in Sat Night Fever and not get an Academy Award for best music. It still makes me angry that they were not recognized. Have listened to the Bee Gees since the '60's. Always thought their music was just brilliant! Wasn't a disco fan, but who couldn't groove to "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack? Was really fond of Robin for some reason. He always just got through to me. Was bereft when he passed. They have given us such wonderful music through the years. This song is the reason that I bought the collection. Love it!

This is an underrated forgotten 80s gem. Totally takes me back to summer of 1989, first summer after my freshman year of high school. Late 80s, early 90s are a mixed emotions time for me. My high school years weren’t exactly the best years of my life, I didn’t have the idyllic high school experience. But the summers were still magical to me. Family vacations, playing pickup games of baseball and basketball. I’d still do anything to go back to being a kid of the 80s. I’m not one of those toxic nostalgists who hates the world today and think it’s worse today - it’s not. It’s just the 80s were my childhood years and I loved them.
Love them especially Maurice..very talented man with beautiful soft brown eyes.
