Wonderful looking day - great countryside. I love taking pictures of old boats, old barns, old cars, and old dead trees, so I loved all the boats today. Great looking pizza, too! :-)
I am definitely enjoying your videos though I am sure I don't enjoy them as much as you enjoyed being out there and walking. An effort must be made to enjoy the reward. Enjoying this none the less. Motivates me to get out there and enjoy nature and the outdoors. Gracias :-)
Yes!!! We did enjoy this episode😉 as well as all the episodes you put out. Thank you🙏 Just expectacular and gorgeous shots. And we do love seeing how much you immersed yourself in all these experiences. Carry on pilgrim. Buen Camino❤️
Thanks, Efrén. You're keeping my Camino hopes alive. I was supposed to have started my Camino Portugués today. I'll go back and watch your series and try not to be too upset. Maybe next year.
Hello-- Have enjoyed each of your journeys.. Great skills and use of video. I walked the Camino, 500 miles, 3 years ago and loved the challenge. I rode my bicycle across the US from San Diego to St. Augustine, Florida. Went back to Portugal and walked the Fisherman’s Trail from Lisbon to “the end of the World”. Also fun, but, not as pilgrim friendly. Was planning to walk from Geneva to Santiago this year but everything closed down. So, I’m doing a virtual walkand posting each day as if i am there. Just crossed the 500 mile mark on my 1200 mile walk. Love watching your adventures!!
Hi Efrén, I'm a great fan of your Camino videos. In 2017 I was one week behind you on the Camino Frances. I really enjoy your excellent work and makes me want to walk another Camino. Can't wait...
My wife and I have really enjoyed your various Camino journeys. They have helped us relive all of the various Caminos we've done together, , the Frances, Portuguese, an Norte. And we look forward to the future when your video series of the Camino Ingles is done and uploaded. Unfortunately, due to age and health, those days of Pilgrimage are over for us, but watching your videos is a blessing of remembrance. Thank you. I do wish we could afford the subscription level to so we can view the newest installments, but things are really that tight. I do hope that this subscription service is well supported. . you deserve it :-) I hate to ask, but will the newer published videos be available for viewing for those who do not subscribe to the early viewer level? Warmest Regards, Dave
thank you so much David. I'm glad the videos bring joy and help you relieve your Caminos. sad to hear you won't be able to any others anymore. Vlogs are first shown to the members and later are made available, free of charge, to the general audience. Vlog 15 for example, premieres this Sunday at 8:00 am and vlog 16 probably next Wednesday and so on.
Just before Bustio in Unquera you can catch a bus that will take you to see the piece of the crucifix cross that is held in the church at Santo Toribio. It forms part of the Lebaniego way.
Wow Efrén it was your birthday? On the Camino? Happy belated one! Really fantastic vlog about your Camino; thank you for all the hard work and excellent editing! ¡Buen Camino! 👣🍷👍😎
Thank you Efren, I just subscribed to your channel and you're becoming my camino mentor. I did the las 114 km of the camino frances and I loved it. I will most definitely do the camino del norte because of you. What is the name of the hostal where you're staying in this town Unquera? i'd like to know, the beautiful lady seems to be very hospitable and i will stay there if you give the name. Thank you Efren
Thank you so much Oscar. I belive she closed down her pension and went to live with her daughter. You can see the accommodation and cost breakdowns on the vlog's description
Thank you Efren, good to know, I’ve checked and that’s very detailed. I can’t believe you answered my question🤗. I’m still watching your Camino del Norte episodes and I’m already on 22. Best of luck and success for you
Stunning views and great vlog adventures as usual. I'm itching to get back out there, but only when it's safe and sensible to do so. Hopefully, by August it might be doable to walk a short Camino, for example: Camino Inglés, Camino del Salvador. Or possibly Camino del Invierno or Camino Olvidado. Or just pick a section on the Camino Francés where the infrastructure of albergues and restaurants will be in dire need of recuperating losses.
You should! I don't think this year will be possible maybe next season. I walked the Inlges right after del Norte. I will edit those vlogs right after I finish with this series.
I loved this one, as usual. Good job!. I probably asked this before, but what are the red route markers that were above the Camino de Santiago yellow shells in some of the shots?
Which app/sorfware did you use to put all these clips together? I've been using GoPro Quik but I would like to explore other options. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Hi Efren, We did not realize you had moved to a paid subscription. We appreciate your need to fund your trips, and are happy to support that, but we do not want to do a monthly subscription. We try not to have ongoing deductions. We would, however, be happy to pay the $24 for the annual subscription. (We don't care about perks and early news.) We just want to watch the rest of the two vlogs we are trying to finish. Is there a way to pay a one-time fee for a one-year subscription instead of a monthly fee? Please advise. Thanks so much. Have enjoyed all your videos.
hi Lori thank you thank you so much. unfortunately UA-cam is not yet set up that way. if you like join the VIP pilgrim tier for a month, enjoy all the content in all the playlist and then cancel it. thank you once again and buen camino.
I don't think we can enjoy this as much as you did Efren. That said your videos are indeed immensely enjoyable and thank you.
So nice of you.
Happy birthday Efrén living vicariously through your vlogs until we can once again walk the Camino.
thank you so much Deana

As always, a very enjoyable moment watching these wonderful videos of the Norte. The drone shots adds much emotion to all this. Thank you !
Glad you enjoyed it
Always looking forward to your next video. Feels like I'm walking the Camino too (I wish!)
That is one determined goat 🐐🍃
lol
As a veterinarian, I constantly appreciate the various images of the Spanish bovine breeds
Busted in Bustio!!! It was a pleasure to watch another fine Camino vlog.
I've never lost this badly lol
I love the music you use in the Videos. Especially the Song at The end of every Video.
thank you. I use artlist.io music library.
He conducido entre Santiago y Lourdes en la autopista 2 veces. He extrañado tantos paisajes fantásticos. Vlog 14 es increíble
, gracias Efren.
es muy bonita esta zona de España
Aquí disfrutando de tu camino del norte 🤗

thank you Linda. I believe that's the GR-9 route that runs parallel to the coast.
Gracias
a ti.
Olá @efrén gonzalez, Qual foi o albergue que ficou em Bustio?
hi Kerjean. check the videos description for a vr tour of the albergue l, daily cost breakdown and more info about the stage.
Which app/sorfware did you use to put all these clips together? I've been using GoPro Quik but I would like to explore other options. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
thank you Farmer Pui. I use Google Earth pro during the vlog and Relive for the ending animation.
Did you use your trekking poles much?
It's hard for me since I need at least one free hand to film. That's why I've switched to a walking staff
@@Walk_with_Efren Thanks. That’s what I thought. Given the terrain, I think I’ll pick up a walking stick in Irun before I start in July.
Peregrino soy a Santiago voy, pero no hasta el ano que viene
esperemos que así sea
Efren, I have a question to ask. Are you using a light on yourself for those early morning shots? Anyway it looks good!
Yes sir. I had a small led light. It's in my gear list on my website
@@Walk_with_Efren awesome Efren. Thank. Best wishes on your Camino Primitivo 👍🙏
Efren, you seem to be limping. Is it because of blisters or of the francigena incident?
neither. I didn't have any issues on the Portuguese, del Norte nor the Ingles.
