The scam: An agent claiming to be from the CRA or IRS will call and threaten you with jail or court charges for unpaid taxes. The scammer will attempt to get you to send money immediately through wire transfer or a prepaid card to clear the charges. Absolute scam, neither the CRA nor the operate this way. If you encounter this type of call, troll them mercilessly, then report the number.

We need to all pitch in so that you can set up a server that will do this 24/7. Make sure to update the numbers regularly and load it up with every scammer's number you can find. That should put a stop to them.

In some of the interactions when the scammers start cussing at each other, I get a sense that there is some back story as to why they are over reacting that way. I wonder if some scam centers call to harass another scam center like part of some local turf war???? How about a prank call something like "This is HH from the Bangalore office. The boss wants you to stop using the database you stole from us."

I don't think I am getting them. I find that Adblocker Plus removes a lot of nuisances, not sure it that's why. Or maybe I did manage to turn off annotations in my settings. I just stumble along...
