Wonderful video - thanks for posting it. So many races and so many victories that were truly inspiring but for me the 4th leg in the Vancouver Olympics relay race was one of his best performances. I think Norway was 1.00+ minute behind and in 4th place when he took the final leg. Instead of tactically waiting for the sprint, he had to go full gas to catch Germany and the Czech Republic (Marcus Hellner of Sweden was too far out in front), and he did an amazing race and took the silver. One of the best silver medal performances ever.
Northug is back! Finished second in the Norwegian Cup the other day. 38 years old. The other athletes were blown away :)

I think he has a chance in ski classics. He trained a lot this summer, i think he can be a strong competitor this winter
The norwegian ski team are not amateurs in general, he needs 5 miracles to even make it in to the team.
