Rinaldo, If you are talking about Ontario it would not be a stretch to say that Brazil has nothing in corruption. We are over 300 Billion in debt and growing from corruption. Ontario is only one province. How much is the whole country of Brazil in debt for? The only thing that's holding it together is we have a bigger tax base (middle class) to extort money from but eventually we will run out. Also "civilized" is just a word, a veneer. Remember Greece? Yes its a safer place and relatively good if you have kids but it is super expensive so be careful what you wish for as you may have more stress in the end. If you are moving to Canada and have some savings, go East.
c'mon man... i've lived in scarborough for like 15 yrs. never seen a gun, or any violence/criminality at all. this is also down the road from UofT scarborough to the north and lake ontario to the south, it's a pretty good area
