Nfs Heats world feels so empty, if there was more traffic and pedestrians on the streets like in unbound, it would feel more alive
Need for speed is a racing game not a gta 5 type of game, I see where you're coming from but this has been a thing for a while now so don't be so surprised.

@@chimaera5243 Midnight Club had pedestrians in the game and was very well known for it. It was a reason why many people liked the games because it gave that feel of city ambience. Besides the constant traffic on roads as well. So I do give props to Criterion for actually putting pedestrians on streets for NFS finally. It was pretty much something many members in the community wanted for a pretty long time after all.

The nfs heat city feels abandoned. But all the neons look really nice. Just wish it had more of the grit from nfs 2015. It feels like they never can get it completely right. 2015 was the closest aesthetic wise but it lacked so much in other areas

The two looks great, but the unbound graphics should not be called "next gen graphics". The difference betwen each other is very small.

4k 60 fps with rtx on is something hard to do even in a next gen console, especially in a open world game.
Which makes it all the more insane that they couldn't have made it available for last gen consoles. I really don't see what could have stopped them from doing so.
I pretty much bought a PS5 just to play this game. I had already played most of Ragnarok on PS4 and been happy with it's performance. I'm glad I finally have a PS5, but I for sure would have waited to get it a little longer if not for Unbound.
And don't get me wrong, it looks great and the load times are still kinda crazy to me, but I'd have taken a minor downgrade (if it was even necessary I'm not sure) for a PS4 version.
Im loving it on pc it need forspeed unbound runs very well on pc then heat
I got a solid 4k/60 on series X. "Next-gen" was always more about performance.

One thing I loved about heat is that when you played on auto and you gassed it when you let off and hold the gas trigger as if your just cruising, it'll automatically upshift so your not high reving while cruising. Just thought that was dope. Unbound doesn't do that

I’ve been playing unbound for a few days on ps5, I played heat on ps4. I can definitely say the graphics look alot more realistic. The small details go a long way. I’m still getting use to the handling on this game but so far it’s pretty fun.

Me too it's a big upgrade vs Heat on PS4 Pro I got my PS5 on 12/06 it was always sold out. Unbound is awesome heat 5 cops are a pain though, always teleporting near you it only takes 1 to find you then 5 or more will be chasing you it's insane!

@@kiaba360-4 Unbound health bar is stronger and repairs at gas stations are infinite but have a 4 min cool down ,cops are way more intense 2 helicopters over head when 1 helicopter runs out of fuel then the other helicopter joins the chase, Undercover Z28 's always hiding off GPS map & offroad T- Bone, C7 Corvettes & Z28's drive offroad and use ramps. All 3 versions of vehicles chase you at same time while 2 helicopters over head. in Heat there are no undercover cops, only 1 helicopter.
Unbound looks better on PS5. Heat is a PS4 game

It seems to me, that the buildings in Unbound look flatter than the Heat ones.
Overall, Unbound looks more lively, or rather alive, than Heat, with more cars and even pedestrians.
The cars seem to look a bit better, but that is probably due to lighting, which is definitely improved.
The only problem with unbound I have is the flame/exhaust compared to heat like dam they tiny.
I mean i like when game is close to real life and the flames in heat always pissed me off coz no other car than GTR has a litteral flamethrower in exhaust. I didnt play unbound yet but if i will see flames from untuned suv it will be shame. But i dont really know what i expect coz they aint even trying to keep with reality in my opinion
Heat was gorgeous at the time... but Unbound smashed it. After all I worried because we got a very enjojable NFS and we saw how todays wolrd working and this cartoonic theme of the game but Im very impressed... cant wait to try Unbound

Unbound woke in comparison mate graphics are bit better accept fire pops and the world more alive in unbound I give it that but that it police are garbage like little annoying wasps more than anything lose them there on you agein second later but with no tactics on heat nighttime police mental so tactical the races are limited to about 8 per class on unbound not much of a sound track on unbound to be honest less engine swaps no garage set ups bit crap story better on heat personally

1:55 (Unbound) 1. The exhaust sparks are 'pathetic' unless the Nissan is on level 1, and it's take off like it is on eggshells. But the (Heat) TBF unless exhaust as a higher modifier looks wicked and it takes off like its gotta go to the moon!

to me when it comes to a race games (nfs specifically) two important things i always want to be good the graphics and the gameplay , unbound got the graphics but heat got the gameplay , and difference between the graphics isn't as big as the difference between the gameplay ,so my take honestly, i prefer heat as a better one , unbound car's movements feels off physics , it's just feels strange to me so.

To be honest i like the theme in Heat
unbound is (gameplay wise) the better game. graphics are super fucking nice, handling is better, cars sound better. the cartoon shit is dope and a good change. makes it feel different. i was one of the people that thought it'd ruin the game but i was wrong. i like it after playing it. the game is solid, just lacks in multiplayer tbh. theyll update it. im not worried.

wish you could change out the gauge cluster on nfs unbound dont like it compared to heat , they should give different options to switch them out however u like or even make it match the actual car.
Funny is Nfs unbound just become what The crew 2 always has been in sense of graphics. + with more optimization options and colored smokes, rims etc..
There is an unconditional love and soft spot for NFS heat in my heart but i cant ignore the huge plethora of improvements they made in Unbound. No doubt the graphics are highly improved and lots of cool features, but the most respectable thing about unbound is they provide such an amp to the graphics but still use lesser gpu than heat. Iwas literally amazed to find that out. Their optimization is on another level. Yeah sure the campaign is 'MEH!' in unbound and cops are nothing but toys, but its definitely worth playing. BUT HEAT IS STILL MORE PLAYABLE IM SORRY
I prefer heat tbh, I just find the setting of the Midwest boring in Unbound, and the driving feels a bit different.

The addition of people moving around makes Unbound more realistic. Heat and other NFSs upto this point (excluding the track focused ones) look like it's actually set in North Korea due to the lack of people outside lol
Better (glue) graphics on Unbound the cars are more shine almost as a real cars and they fit/touch on the road when they move,Heat is like a photoshop they put the cars in the graphics environment…

Unbound hands down. Not to mention unbound has a lot of potential and to meet those expectations they need to listen to the community. Listen to use on what is needed and wanted. Ofc it’s no forza or gran Turismo but it has
IT’s potential of competing with them and other racing games simple.

Truth is Both have Strengths and Weaknesses compared to each other. This Series needs to make a big engine change in order to go to the next level. Maybe leave FROSTBITE behind and go with their own inhouse engine or UNREAL 5
They should have just added these small details to NFS Heat. Pedestrians on the sidewalks. New cars! and graphic details. I personally hate that drift smoke in Unbound. I'm not 10 years old anymore lol. Overall Heat is better game for the boys!

The film grain in heat looks awful… especially at 4k when you’re used to the crispness of that resolution.

the car sound on nfs unbound is very slow tho. compared to heat the car sound is louder. unbound effect sound is much louder than the car. like come on guys this is car games tho of coz we want to hear how the exhaust sound more than the effect.

I like the water effect in heat. But I like drift effect in unbound.
Let me get this straight Heat is more feelings vibes
Things different in unbound:
1. adjustable slider to choose more grip or more drift
2. change the tint/color of your headlights and tail lights(nice job ea, i know took alot of effort)
3. Theres no true muscle car hoods, only ones with dumb vents on them
4. Muscle cars cant turn/drift or accelerate fast at all now so theyre useless
5. No more backfire choice, instead choose your drifting effects and "tags" which no one uses
6. Pvp online races only so if you cant find anyone to do B class races with you so you can unlock a new car, youre screwed
7. Cops are now windowlickers in unbound.... seriously wtf
8. They copy and pasted the car list from heat and theres no Audi...... no toyota either but thats on toyota they refused
And bam! Youre all caught up on why you should stick to Heat and wait til unbound gets a HUGE update

the game isn't that bad... The only thing I wish they did... was keep the NFS Heat driving physics or at least... keep the drift side of it. Bc I spent a very long time mastering and making some of the best drift cars in Heat. like they actually drifted pretty good and not just with the Rx7. But now... You can't drift, unless you set your grip level to 30-50% and go on dirt and drift in circles. any counter steering throws the car off completely. Like... The game would be SOOO MUCH better if they actually took the time to make the cars slide better. but overall, the cities are more alive, the graphics looks much better, we have 60 fps for console players, we have some crazy well made custom bodykits, and much more. The game isn't finished, there's much more to come and hopefully better drift physics come with time.

I play open world racing games mostly for scenery, heat feels so empty, lack of traffic, pedestrians, less buildings... Idk, just feel so empty even if ppl rate unbound is worse, but i think it's only because of cartoony theme. Rest of it... I think no problem

both looks nice for me... but, the only problem for me, in this video, is.... what happen with your heat? your car always go to the right, something wrong with your controller or smth? its always wiggling even in straight road xD
it's called physics. If you don't control the steering wheel irl, a car will veer to the right. unless the guy is actually moving the car to the right. As for the heat level, there's no race, jumps, speed traps gameplay (except with the Range Rover, but didn't finish it) at night.

Unbound is more arcade style like nba jam of basketball n nfs heat is more of nba live. They need to tweak heat some more like add different cities and more cars and heat would be the nba 2k of racing while unbound will still be an arcade nba jam feel

Unbound looks better. The detail is better with the cars and the city buildings but it’s not head over heels better I hope they utilize the PS5 graphics in the future better than they did with PS4.

I was a NFS fanatic before they start to make their games in frostbite engine and with a weird gameplay.
Nice vid, I still love Heat but Unbound did better. Real question, how in the heck did you gain 100mil?????
story mode glitch. with the Grand race. Once you complete the race there"s a part where it says "car acquired" and "1'000'000$ acquired". after you press X or A, a cutscene will play. close the application as soon as the cutscene starts and you'll have gained the money but the race will still be available to replay. rinse and repeat.
As far as overall gameplay and gqmeplay feel goes i had far mor fun with unbound. Didnt really care for the detail since i wasnt expecting much but was quite impressed. Ps. Why does it seem the car is pulling right in heat?

Hate on me all you want, but I personally still don’t think there’s been a single good modern Need for Speed game. When they rebooted the series with 2015 I was really excited because they nailed the whole car culture theme and setting. But that game had arguably the worst physics out of any racing game I’ve ever played. It had a ton of other issues, such as poor map layout design, required online connection, and much more. Payback had a better map, slightly better physics, and more cars, but was still another bad game. It was basically a casino roll system to upgrade your car and had a weird Fast & Furious story. Heat which most people love was still a disappointment to me. Nearly the same car list and customization from Payback. Just again slightly better physics and the addition of free roam cops. I’ll admit the cop chases were pretty entertaining, but the game still lacked a ton of content and dealt with plenty of other issues. Now Unbound is basically just Heat 2. Pretty much the same car list and same customization with just minor improvements to the physics system and gimmicky cartoon effects. I honestly can’t see myself enjoying another Need for Speed game until they start from scratch with a new physics model. I understand Need for Speed is an arcade racing game, but their handling models are laughably bad. Even with all the improvements they made over the years they are still using the same outdated handling model from 2015 and the same game engine.
sometimes nfs heat make my eyes looks like seeing 60hz display monitor,, and that make me so confusing and headache........ cannot smooth as nfs unbound... :) :) :)

@@yoelchristian6332 The cars it’s better in Unbound,the place looks better in heat, the history it’s better in Heat. Chicago it’s better than Miami for cars.. so that’s the reality,, low quality in graphics on chicago but Chicago it’s superior than Miami because it’s variety, it’s impossible meet all Chicago,Heat it’s like easy to meet all in 35 minutes, Chicago need 1 hour and 30 minutes
