Cape Breton Highland Village

Characters are in period costumes from time periods of late 1700’s to 1920’s and 30’s as you travel through the recreated Cape Breton village and through time. Starts at a Blackhouse of the Highlands/Islands where the Gaels emigrated from. In the brief video listen to a Gaelic song of a milling party and Psalm chanting in the church. A blacksmith of 1920’s Cape Breton and a pump organ being played in a house of that same era.
