That would be awesome if you could do a few bass basics covering enough lures to get the beginner bass fisherman started.
Great idea mate, will do
Yep, agree.
Top vid as always mate! 🍺🎣

Making it look easy mate 👌
Cheers legend
Can't wait to have a crack at St Clair 😍

Love borumba dam the steep hills with all the deer is a hunter fishers paradise. Thanks for the vid dean much appreciated the effort you put into these.
Cheers
Beau
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for tuning in. Yep borumba in the rut is amazing place.
Awesome video mate would love to see a video on how to get the bass to bite/where they go after the bite has shut down after a morning bite on a hot sunny calm day
What lake are you experiencing this mate? But yep can do some more bass vids soon
@@DeanSilvester lake st Clair
Believe it or not they stay shallow in st Clair most of the day even on the glass out days. I will be down there sometime this year to film some content
@@DeanSilvester yeah can see them on the sounder shallow but how do I get a bite they shut down once sun was up on a calm hot day
reaction lures in spring and summer mostly, something to trigger them
Thanks Dean, great video mate. As usual quality tuition.
Very welcome, thanks legend
Great video mate. The casting and letting the spoon fall with open bail was great information cheers. Will have to give it a try.
No worries mate, works well for me
Awesome spoon tutorial mate, I’m hopeless with spoon fishing so good info to take into the water!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for tuning in mate. I have some more spoon info videos coming up as well
Awesome 👏 I enjoy these videos, especially on the sounder technique an boat positioning .. your a legend 🤛🏻
Legend! thanks for the comments too boss
Awesome video Dean, full of information, love it
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks legend
Great tips and advice mate. Cheers for the video! 👍🎣
No problem 👍 thanks for tuning in
So painful to be a Victorian atm. Great vid as always Dean. Hopefully get up to Callide for my prize one day and fish some Bass on the way home. Till then keep it coming for us mate!
Yes it is.
Fingers crossed! mate, yep i feel for you guys. Not cool at all
Informative as always.Thankyou.
thanks for tuning in legend
Great vid Dean,
Bass in the warmer months at hinze, I know you would have info for days, just anything briefly you can offer me would be Greatly appreciated..
They will be deep mate, close to the outside of the trees but in around 50 feet of water. Some action eary in the shallows on topwater or spinnerbaits etc but mostly head deep and sound any humps points near the timber line i have a hinze video or two on my channel mate
Great watch dean.Very informative.
Thanks 👍
Great video mate. I can see now why I always struggle to get them on spoons now 👌
Glad I could help, ps great youtube name haha
Great information mate. Very interesting with Great tips. Keep it up mate👍
Thanks, will do! haha
Great vid thanks mate
No problem 👍, thanks for tuning in
Grouse video mate - awesome detailed info.
cheers legend
Another very informed video mate I’m still waiting the halco twister to come out lol 😂
I still think your old bass vids like you and fergo fishing plastics and chatter baits at st Clair and fishing tail spinners and masks with Matty j I learned so much from your earlier content keep em coming mate and look forward to a Somerset vid soon they will be chunks coming into this time of year dam lockdown stuffed my QLD bass and Barra trip 2 years in a row now
They will be massive in there mate, i am looking forward to going and chasing a few there as well. Showcase how hard those things fight. Yeah lockdown messing up so many plans, basically crushed all my cod plans this year
Nice mate hope we can go for a fish soon 👌
Me too boss
Great video Boss, it looks so easy watching you explain it can you tell the Bass I’m chasing to follow the rules 😄
I’m no spoon expert but does a treble on bottom five better hookups?
No a treble on the bottom will actually hinder your action, the treble will cause a bit of drag that prevents it from being so erratic. A treble is fine for faster applications when you are trying to stop the spoon blowing out to much
This is hurting me to watch haha hurry up lockdown! Still gotta catch up for a fish Dean at hinze ill hold you to that haha. I had an amazing spoon bite there not long ago on my channel if you wanna check it out. Just spoon it. Cheers legend hope to see ya up there soon! 👍🤙
hahaha yep awesome mate, Hinze can be incredible sometimes and then just painful the next haha.
I love that your outboard is doing a happy dance at 8:48ish 😂
hahaha yes that is weird, must have been right on the join line for my 360 camera haha. Nice pick up though, attention to detail
Very informative, thanks mate. I still haven’t had a chance to fish for Bass yet but Defo need to change that. Is 16lb braid and 12lb leader normal? I would’ve thought you’d go fairly light on them but you’re the expert 😂 👍🏻
Thats actually light for me as they aren't that big in that lake, wait till i show you somerset. I run 20lb braid and 16lb leader haha!
@@DeanSilvester that’s good to know though. At least I know what gear to take when I go. Somerset is probably closest for me so I’ll hit that first. Thanks mate 🤙🏻
Hey dean, how do you rate the ns explorer rods vs the amped 2?
just a little bit smoother feel mate and more aesthetically appealling
So if theres a sheila on the boat and shes layin down and says she wants wants to spoon, what do you do?🤣😂 sorry bro had to do it
Well if she is laying down then she is most likely inactive so probably won't respond to the high speed approach so will have to use a bigger spoon and go slower to get a response! hahaha
@@DeanSilvester 😅🤣😂
