      Thanks! I try my best. It can be hard to find that balance because if you drive it too soft people get mad. If you drive it too aggressively people get mad. Just can't please anyone these days lol.

    Nice ride! love the Abarth! 10:10 you seem to have issues with boost. I had the same problem with mine

      This is someone else's car haha. Yeah, the car had about 80,000 miles. So maybe there was some turbo issues, not sure.

    • @ugh_adam
      @ugh_adam 4 роки тому +2

      That's actually just what they do. The "boost gauge" is actually the amount of boost the ECU is requesting, not the actual boost the engine is receiving. Also, you'll only see that boost gauge peak at 18psi below like 3500/4K RPM. Once you really mat it, it stays between 6-12psi, hovering around 9 as the revs climb. Mine always did that and it drove fine.

    hope its cool to say this, but you should probably let the car idle for 1min (ideally 2 min) before you start revving it and/or driving it...and try to wait for the temp to come up before driving it hard...

    • @julienmalschaert5029
      @julienmalschaert5029 4 роки тому +7

      False, letting an engine warm up at idle isn't good for it, due to oil pressure. BMW recommends driving it gently for proper warm up.

    • @MikeDrives
      @MikeDrives  4 роки тому +1

      You can definitely learn on an Abarth. The clutch is light and easy to modulate. One odd thing about the clutch is that the clutch travel is long. It's the first car I drove that really worked out my ankles lol. Other than that, you'll get the hang of it. Good luck man!

    • @dhichens

      @@Alex-ch2ud I just bought one. Coming from a Miata, it feels big. It's taller, and you sit more upright, so it doesn't feel as small as it is. Any sporty car should feel smaller than a standard car, but this one isn't too bad.
