If you are a beginner I would recommend going to the edit mode (Tracks view, and double tap on any track) and manually edit MIDI, rather than recording live from the instruments. Thats how I do it. you wont believe how good some results end up ☺️ Also Id suggest having fun with the loops section but in the tracks view (its easier to browse)
I have used GarageBand on my mbp but I got kinda scared of its immense creative abilities, I have my songs down with their lyrics and chord progression but it not really a song until you add all the instruments well here is where I freak out, even though I know I can do it and it will all sound great in the end , I have a fear of starting to building my tunes cause I know how much work its going to be, and like any pro procrastinator will tell you, here is where a many a great talent ends sad but true any way when I saw your tut 10 ways to have fun I remembered that's what it was in the beginning when I first started writing music and now with the portability and brand new creative features in GarageBand for iPad for building ur own arrangements well I'm back I'm getting the band back together again, even if I'm the only one in the band thanks Mac guy 😄😇
It is interesting that you posted this video. I have been attempting to create my own soundtrack for a video I am working on. A new endeavor, creating music. Trial and error and experimenting is an enjoyable experience. Your video, as usual, is concise and informative. Thank you!
Hi Garry I become a big fan of your channel since watched your first tutorial when switched to macOS from windows. wanna ask one thing that why my iCloud Drive eating space on my internal storage??
iCloud Drive is cloud storage and many (or all) files will be cached locally as well as on the server. It is not server storage, a system where files are stored only on the server. See ua-cam.com/video/S7JYHX2iT9Q/v-deo.html
Dear Gary, can You confirm that Pages, Numbers and Keynote are free apps for Mac? I'm not using Mac yet, I'm a Linux user but in the future Mac is a serious possibility for me thanks to yours tutorials. 😃

Cool. I need to learn more Garage band.
Good sound produced
Big up big man ❤
I bet there’s a way to save ringtones, too. I’m going to look into GB; makes sense to use it with a bigger touch screen than a phone. Thank you!
Yes. ua-cam.com/video/f6FHTFn79Hk/v-deo.html
Wow. I had no idea Garage Band could do that much!

Yes, they are free.
Phenomenal.
Thanks bunches
Can it show or export notation/score sheet on iPad version?
I don't think so. But experiment and see.
Hi sir...my ipad pro 12.9 is not showing full piano. It always shows the tracks
If you see tracks then you are on the wrong screen. Experiment and play around with the controls to learn how to switch around.
The mic function is new to me. Hahaha
