Absolutely! When we learn our first language, we actually don't "study" it, we just learn it in different physical locations, situations and in different contexts. This continues to happen and never stops because we NEED diversity in order to learn, not by merely "studying". Every word I use, I am very familiar with the context in which it is used so I hardly ever forget how to use the words, even if I can barely explain what they mean. I have learned most of the words in English from the people around me and in many different environments. I can HARDLY remember what I was taught ANY if my English classes... I just would have to study the reason... 😄
Such a great video! I loved the tips here and I have implemented them all myself. It goes to the heart of being successful at language learning, I think - doing things you actually enjoy. That's the only way to succeed long term and make sure you don't give up. 😊
I love your advice about the immersion with tv , podcasts and music , but I’ve tried these methods before and only feel stupid because I don’t understand what they are saying 🥲 I will recognise some words but won’t know what they mean so I don’t really feel like I’m learning the language :// , do you have any advice ?

You obviously never been to Africa. It's VERY common 🤣

I don’t have any friends who speak the languages that I want to learn.
Well, that’s what I said that you have to look for them. Friends don’t come falling from the sky:)) I also mentioned one app amongst many others.
Me encantaría conocerte...
