this was not originally going to be my debut (non-joke) vocal synth song but here we are
ive been working on putting out a song for almost a year now, and in the middle of working on something else my health and life itself decided it was time for me to go to the torture labyrinth... so i ended up making this instead/. i feel its a little cringe but w/e lol!!
this is cheesy but thank you to my friends who gave me confidence to put something out (and a special thank u to jamie paige for mixing and adding some little touch-ups it wouldn't sound as good without her ahhhhhh!!)

i was listening to a random chappell roan mix and somehow you came up and shook my afternoon. this is seriously one of the best songs i’ve heard let alone probably one of my favorite synthv songs now. the lyrics really touched me, and i’m super glad you put this on spotify. a lot of small artists don’t have it for some reason but it’s one of the best choices you can make. hoping to hear more from you soon.

I noticed that during the ending segment you can see her in the bathtub. It also makes me kinda sad that when she says the line "you cant outrun the warm glow of the sun" you can see then sun shining down on her but it's obscured by the bathtub curtain :(

Two points in the song ( 1:57 and 3:22 ) feature the line "exhale and its gone" and final sound just after the last words of the song ( 4:00 ) is an inhale (at least it sounds like an inhale to me). its a strange detail and quite interesting.
