Oh, like... She wasn't missing until this happened (the card made the disappearance occur?) and when they got out the kid found out she was truly missing ? Very sad.
This story is so badass!! Brought me way back. Makes me happy that I'm not the only one who's imagination brought their D&D travels to life in story form. I used to write all of our games down so we could always remember where we started and what we had been through. Lol I still have some of the notebooks. Thanks Mr Lighthouse for taking me on a much needed walk down memory lane!! As per usual.... YOU ROCK!!
This was an amazing story. Used to play D&D as a kid and this brought back some old memories that I hadn't thought about for many many years. Thank you for another great story LH. It brings a smile to my face every time I get the notice you have a new story. Edit: If I came across the game, I would 100% play.

Damn Stephen, you really did deliver one of your best works here, This story was hilarious, thrilling, everything it needs to be a fun DnD themed story and your narrating absolutely knocked it out of the park, making it just that much more immersive and enjoyable!
Gotta ask, is the narrator a D&D fan himself? One does not simply choose a story like this unless they have prior love of the game. I myself am my groups resident DM (have been only a DM) and we have been playing our last campaign from level 1 to level 15 over 2.5 years. Session is winding down as the last two henchmen of the BBEG are on the ropes and the party knows how to stop the BBEG. Maybe three or four more sessions... Edit: the scariest thing here is the truth behind the fact that you can't a keep a wizard alive in d&d long enough to do anything useful. Every encounter the blue wizard went down...this story is just a PTSD of the authors game sessions...
Idk how to put into words how much i enjoyed this story. When I was a child I used to have fantasies like this all the time. I would think about how cool it would be to experience something like the video games that I grew up Playing in real life. The author and the narrator both did a great job and I would like to thank you guys for the bit of nostalgia that this brought up for me
I was an avid reader (still am) of fantasy novels as a teen and played D & D with my cousins. They even LARPed, back before LARPing had a name. As the sole female of the group, my mom wouldn't allow me to join--good thing too because they would have wailed on me with the same gleeful and murderous abandon with which they beat the crap out of each other. @JGrupe--what a fantastic story. I think we secretly yearn for adventure as much as we yearn for love. Who hasn't daydreamed about searching for hidden treasure and defeating the Big Bad? Thank you for this. And @ Lighthouse--your ability to inhabit different characters so seamlessly elevates every story you narrate. Cheers to you both.
A part 2 maybe?!?! Journey to save Brad's mom from the Goblin Army? Maybe a reunification of Elizabeth and the wizard with the three other boys to save their lost friend and defeat the dungeonmaster? I never played D&D but listening to this makes me think I should have with some friends.
Those freaking voices had me cracking up. It was just the right touch as not to take away from the story or make it too over the top silly. Just a little comedy relief.
I loved this story. I was honestly about to start writing a D&D inspired story myself but this right here kicked ass. A nice twist of horror and table top RPG style.

Love the Jumanji/Zathura feel of this. Wish it played a bit more into that with the cards. And though it was a good tale, I feel it could have been stretched more. Maybe even a small series but a few chapters. And with a much darker ending. Say the party gets wiped but for the Paliden. He defeats the Necromancer but can't revive his friends till the Gamemaster gives him a choice to go on another adventure to revive them and save his friend's mother. Skip forward into the future and the game is found by another group of friends who get pulled in to play the roles, including the Wizard and Paliden roles, for telling a fate of the past Paliden. And in the adventure to come they come across someone calling themselves a Dark Knight. This is the former Paliden who's lost hope and has taken to a darker path for revenge, allowing to free up the Paliden class for a new player. The ending to the story could play out in any number of ways after that.
Such a thrilling story, loved it. Would be nice if the story continued. Me personally I would actually love to play dungeon and darkness. But keep up the good work

This is the best Story I’ve been told, maybe ever! I played D&D up until 10th grade or so with a group of my Friends. I don’t ever remember hearing a better story. This could’ve been made into one of those D&D Movies or TV specials they used to have. I’m gonna be looking for more! 😎💯
You've got too check out the Book Series - Guardians of the Flame. It is a portal fantasy series by author Joel Rosenberg, and arguably his best-known work. The series is about a group of college students who participate in a fantasy role-playing game, much like D & D, and are magically transported to the world of the game by their college professor and gamemaster.
That is a fantastic, well written and an excellently narrated story. The use of sound effects was spot on and the voice changes were great. Well done sir. Very well done.
This story made me nostalgic for the old "Gauntlet" video game. I kept hearing, "Blue wizard needs food, badly" running through my head. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, and keep up the great work! 🧙♂️🧝♀️🧚🧜♀️🧞♂️
That was a lot of fun! Like many others I played D&D in the 70s-80s when i was young. Funny story. When in 8th grade a friend and I discovered a new comic book store. We went in, there was a table in the back with 3 adults sitting and one standing in front of a little chalk board holding a pointer, addressing them in a very serious tone. We didnt care, we weren't paying attention - we had a NEW comic shop full of goodies to discover!!! So we're digging through boxes gleefully when all of a sudden the orator shouts out, " ... we walked through the door AND THERE IN FRONT OF US WERE 3 GIANT SCORPIONS!!!" My friend and I froze. We llooked at each other and simultaneously dropped what we were holding, dashed outside the front entrance where we ran around to the back of the building and literally fell on the ground howling with laughter. We thought they were discussing some historical event or something and realized that they were talking about Dungeons and Dragons! Seriously it was 15 minutes before we could compose ourselves enough to walk back in with eyes red and puffy from the tears of laughter, desperately trying to keep it together, to the adults' baffled gazes. After getting to know them a little we realized they were all very educated, extremely intelligent individuals, who took D&D very seriously. Very! 🤣🤣🤣
This story is awesome! A real life RPG experience, how cool is that? Kudos to the author and one or two more for ingenuity. The narration, as always, was brilliant and immersive. I´ve really grown to love your channel :)
Wtf you did the voices for all of this? Amazing work! I'm also amazed I got emotional over this story. It's so simple and is an isekai in written form lol. But the simplicity is probably the appeal. The clean writing really puts you there in the dungeon with them. And the pacing is great. Let's go! The part that got me the most was wizard's first attack against the necromancer's army. The music was a perfect match. What I fun story brought to life in audio. Very excited to hear more from this author.
Awesome Stephen! I haven’t played D & D for years! Fabulous story & excellent visuals to go with it! I’ve been saying you’re the best for years & there can be no doubt whatsoever! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Phenomenal story and narration! As a long time WoW player, this just might be my top favorite story
I used to love playing D&D back in the day this was such an original story grraT job .
I am a dungeon master for my group of friends and this was an amazing story. Keep them coming. Great work.
I would like to see more of this story come out I think you have a really good story line and can far with this one need to make more with this one
A one of a kind!!!! Excelent work!!! And excellent narration keeping the voices different for thw characters!!! I absolutwly loved this story!!!
🧙♂️🧝♀️🧚🧜♀️🧞♂️
great game!
I have never played D&D but this was an amazing story! I loved this so much!
So we're digging through boxes gleefully when all of a sudden the orator shouts out, " ... we walked through the door AND THERE IN FRONT OF US WERE 3 GIANT SCORPIONS!!!"
My friend and I froze.
Very! 🤣🤣🤣
I enjoyed this very much! I hope the (Very talented)author writes a sequel!
Also, you are my favorite creepypasta narrator!
This story is awesome! A real life RPG experience, how cool is that? Kudos to the author and one or two more for ingenuity.
The narration, as always, was brilliant and immersive. I´ve really grown to love your channel :)
I'm gonna need a part two, please! This story was absolutely amazeballs!!
I started listening a few days ago and I can't tell you how many stories I've heard so far , these are addictive
🙂 thanks for listening
I didn´t thot I was going to like this, but I felt in love for it after 10 minutes of listening. Good job:X
Sooooooooo crazy. The different voices made it great. I’d dreamed his game I’d be leveling up.
It's actually blue for mana and green for stamin lol but overall amazing story I need more like this
2 things. 1) I want more of this story after they go back in...and 2) I want this board game 😅
I want to say that you have some of the best voice acting on UA-cam 2nd in my opinion to Mr Blackpasta. But since he is doing true crime it makes you the best 😁😍.
Gaaaaay!!!!!!!
Lol
I can't choose between him and Natures Temper, they are both absolutely awesome. Lighthouse is newer though so I bet as he keeps at it he will just get better and better
@@lovealways4435 I will have to look in to that one I have not heard him yet...but I only just started listening to creepy pasta because of Mr Black
@@Calthrow werewolves are assholes and cerber are really good ones from natures temper. They are series though
@@seangarvey8232 I will definitely check him out
THIS one needs a sequel! This is amazing!
I love stories like these thanks man hope you do more like these

Omg!! I am sending you a standing ovation!!! I was absolutely transfixed and mesmerized the entire time listening to you!! Absolutely sensational story telling. Ever thought of turning it into a book series? Bravo!!
This was amazing! Thank you LH! WELL DONE
Love this story!! Just played weekly Pathfinder game last night and started this story after our game was over for the night. I'm currently playing a cat folk rouge.
I love any story J. Grupe does. They are always the best.
What a great story. Brought back lots of memories of my years as a gamer. I had to get out of that life due to addiction and severe depression. Happily, this story only vaguely touched on that subject.
I hear ya. I used to be really good at an online game and had to give it up.
Was struggling to get into some of your stuff (partly because I have videos on the back while I game on Switch in my bed) but this one really hit all the right spots.
Playing a strange game found in the basement?! Haven't these guys ever seen Jumanji? Great story, I really enjoyed it!
I would most definitely Play! Loved this one. Loved 🥰 hearing your Narration more. As always thank you for bringing this excellent story to life for me. It was extremely entertaining.
hah me 2! thanks for listening

Edit: thank you teller of tales, we all appreciate your fabled stories, teller of tales.
That was absolutely fantastic 🤩. I really hope there’s a part 2 , you sir are a wizard 🧙♂️ at voicing character’s & the story played out like a film in my mind thanks to your unprecedented narrating skills. Thank you for your content & great efforts, stay awesome 🙏😊👍🏽
thanks Dave!
Thank you Mr Grupe and Mr Lighthouse!! Magnificent story and narration! Very impressrd! This creepy pasta is my 9yr old sons favorite bedtime story. We've been listening to it every night 🌙 and discussing how we would play dungeons and darkness 🎲🃏🗡🛡🏹
I am getting a very Labyrinth vibe from the arguing skeletons compared to the Doors where one can only tell the truth and one can ooooonly lie! 😂😂
