Did the same thing here Andy with the warm weather we cleaned up The corn picker a little bit extra and also the Columbine a little bit extra and some extra maintenance when we head the nice weather. Here in Western Pennsylvania a week before Thanksgiving or whether he's going to pieces it is now pretty rough and trying to spit snow. But this part of the country at this time of the year it's pretty much to be expected
Andy, looks like the grain cart could use a new auger snout/tube sometime soon. Many may call them stump humpers but, around here, we call 'em stump jumpers. Do you have plans to change out the spout knuckle on your chopper this winter? I remember changing out chains and belts early winter but we never tightened them until a few weeks prior to harvest time. Then went back over everything... again. Be surprised as to what you could easily miss.
@@FarmingFixingFabricating Gotcha, just looked like it was getting thin in that area with the rust starting. Seen the patch work, good work on that by the way. Sometimes, camera's make things look worse than what they are. Cheers :)
Sarah handle the backing of the grain buggy like she been doing it all her life many years ago when I was helping my friend on his turkey farm his dad showed me easy to backup a trailer by holding the steering wheel on the bottom and turning wheel you wanted the trailer to go 👍🚜
I have to remove stump jumpers all the time. I use a long pin driver through the hole in the deck with a sledge hammer just whack it a few times and it will fall right off
Is that bushhog made by the Amish? I have never heard of the Stump Humper Brand. When we were kids my friends who's neighbor would discuss the Amish Fence Humpers. . .
I would not use Anti seize for that application. I would use straight grease. The copper particles in the anti seize could cause the hub to loosen on the tapered shaft , prolly never cause a problem but just a thought.

Just thinking about working in an environment where President Trump is in control of our Country and Farmers are being pay for their work. How great can it be. God keep blessing the USA!!!!
Walmart has already announced that prices of food are going sky high by spring that the American families will be paying for c a using inflation to raise. Fed has said that they may have to raise interest rates to combat that! So those tarries are going to make America great again huh? As a independent is why I didn't vote for either candidate because neither one cares about the American people just making their corporate buddies richer that's all!
The illeagles are not the ones milking the cows. The criminals will go first, maybe then the ones without a job. For all the workers who have a green card don't have to worry. If you come here and have a job that is great, but when all of the rest of us have to pay your way then maybe you should consider going back home. Then the money spent on supporting the loafers could be spent on better things like schools or roads.@@BillySmith-st5ow
Another great video. Miss Sarah backed the Buggy in? One shot?? Didn't have to pull forward?? And still got it straight? Wow.. Great job Miss Sarah!!
Bang bang
I like the idea of storing a combine with new oil. Many leave the old contaminanted oil in all winter.
Hope the combine gives you many more years of service 🌾🌽🌾🌽
Hi Andy !
Andy , you are the best at fixing it !
Good job everybody !
Thanks Andy for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm ! 🙋♂️
Andy your spoiling us this week a big thank you I look forward to every minute from an avid uk fan
The combine looked like it took a major crap when all the debris came out! Great seeing all the days events on the farm.
Like a Taco Bell party pack held in through a meeting type situation.
@@initdeit Graphic, but accurate! 🤣
Sarah is great with operating that tractor and backing right into place. Diamond in the rough🚜🚜🚜🚜
Polishing up every day!
Thank you for another Great video. Cheers

Grain buggy tube is fine…..I had a numbskull damage that years ago and I fixed it and it’s fine

I bet that combine feels better now after unloading all the crap at the end...😆
I wore my Zip up Hoodie Today Andy I like it better than the pull over!
Hey Andy do you use the harveststors? I've been watching for a long time and I don't think I've ever seen you put anything in them.
I have to remove stump jumpers all the time. I use a long pin driver through the hole in the deck with a sledge hammer just whack it a few times and it will fall right off
Have you ever had to change / replace the bearing on the shaker arms for sieves?
Stump Jumper.
schulte mowers the best and cheaper to fix than bush hog ,
yes 3/4 of cost of another chicom gearbox .... replaced a few last year at Empire .
call me nuts , but those blades seem have an "unhealthy" extra few degrees Bend in them 😅😅 😊

if the welding on that shroud was from the factory, i would be questioning John Deere's quality control. As a retired welder that wouldn't fly.
Kudos to you for the way you maintain your equipment. Great idea to put it away properly maintained and ready to go. Thx

We always called them stump jumpers on the farm.
I can't describe why. But I've always liked the smell in a pollbarn.
UA-cam's smallest grain cart makes a final appearance 😂
The paid for ones make the most money.
@mfreund15448 what's your point? You're assuming all others are not?
What is this now, 3rd or 4th vidya in a row? Andy is on a roll this week
Great video
The mice would have had a fild day if all that stuff was left there.
Hopefully the brace that was lost off the straw chopper dose not end up wound up in the bush hog or in a tire.
21:48 I didn’t know the combine liked Taco Bell.
Starting up that combine reminded me of the video of a hippo taking a $HlT
how many complain the buggy tires on "backward" ?? 😊😅😅
People do not realize what it takes to maintain machinery and what it cost!!!
That manure spreader was in a hurry? Sounds nice.
I can’t believe you don’t have your service truck over there with all your tools you went and bought be a lot handier😅
👍
Hey Andy, I see you show a lot of the works that goes on around your farm but you never show the milking part of the dairy part at all.....??
The dairy they produce milk for strongly prefers they not film in the parlor...concerns r/t PETA.

Shipshape and Bristol fashion me 'arties.
All you do is weld something to the stump humper so you can attach a gear puller to it and heat the shit out of it and it will come.
