Moving through Hofesh Shechter’s Grand Finale: 'Russian Passion' | dance workshop

‘Russian Passion’ is the section of choreography that begins Act 2 of Hofesh Shechter Company’s bold, bleak and beautiful dance production, Grand Finale. In this video, the dancers will teach you the choreography, which projects a feeling of strength and power.  
This section of choreography is typical of how the acclaimed choreographer Hofesh Shechter creates movement, starting with an emotion or sensation. 
As part of Sadler’s Wells Digital Stage In Focus series, dancers Frédéric Despierre, Rachel Fallon and Yeji Kim will guide you through the movement, with an introduction from the company’s Associate Artistic Director, Bruno Guillore.
