Hey chizeled, here’s a tip on how to do wraparounds easier. Use shift lock or first person, turn your camera to hug the wall, hold s or d and jump, after you jump ajust your camera to go to the other side of the wall and voila you can probably do up to 9 stud wraparounds now.

For PSX it's not as bad since it's not affecting other people's experience playing the game or the amount of fun they're having. However, for Blade Ball it IS affecting other people and made the game less enjoyable for some people. Like imagine there was this one dude in your server with the most P2W stuff and he would just win game after game, then the game wouldn't be fun. However, for PSX getting like a titanic pet doesn't affect other people's overall enjoyment, so I think the Blade Ball is pretty awful

Problem with only monetizing cosmetics is that everyone already customizes their player before they even join their first game. No one plays a game like blade ball to play dress up, they are in it for the game play. The only way to successfully monetize a game like blade ball is to offer some kind of competitive advantage for purchase. The most important thing is balancing the p2w features so that they do not equal instant win. Someone who plays the game regularly and puts in the effort should be able to easily win against someone who just started playing an hour ago and spent a butt load of robux on passes/ exclusive gear. Without that balance there is no incentive for anyone to put any time and effort into the game if they are guaranteed to lose no matter how hard they try, and how much they grind.

Yesterday at like lunch time CDT they were like a riot/protest in the discord server so let me break it down: People are pissed that people who owned infinity before the update have to buy infinity again just to get the new ability (to get phantom you need to get 2 swords and infinity to get phantom) and people who owned infinity (spent 11.5k robux from the older update to where u buy 6 packs for infinity) had to spend more robux just to get the ability they already have again and they also made more bugs such as broken quests, broken crates that give nothing if u buy them, adding more lag (they claimed it would be less laggy in the update log) and made infinity bugged

Here is my take: the gameplay is probably the most frustrating thing about blade ball. It’s just so spammy and this could just be me but I die all the time. I can’t even get to a standoff without dying. The game also gets somewhat repetitive and it’s pretty frustrating to just wait in the lobby for 10 minutes just so a round can end. Besides, I think the game has nothing going for it that makes it actually deserving of hundreds of thousands of players. Like, what is so special about it? The gameplay is awful spamming with only mildly interesting abilities, the graphics are.. average, the mechanics aren’t original like at all, and it is somewhat p2w. Really, I don’t understand why it’s so deserving of so many players. Give that to something like the mimic. The mimic is an amazing horror game with stunning graphics and interesting storyline/ lore (if you know it). However, the game does get repetitive after playing a chapter over and over again, but, at least it has incredibly stunning graphics to make up for the gameplay. Like, it’s super impressive and there is even hair physics. Then again, compare this to blade ball, with basically nothing going for it that is special, unlike the mimic which has stunning graphics (it also is pretty scary. Besides, book 2 chapter 3 will release pretty soon and is said by the creator on discord to have actually well made mazes, and will have more focus on atmospheric horror and jumoscares, and from what I can see from the trailer, there is voice acting and really good animation). Or let’s say, another good game - doodle world. Doodle world has a unique art style and is based on Pokémon. The “pets” are unique, and look just like doodles as the name suggests. It also is pretty fun when you get to know it, there even is pvp and a storyline. Ofc, it has it’s flaws and one of it’s main mechanics get repetitive (chaining), but still, it has something deserving of so many players. Overall, blade ball has nothing really going for it to make it deserving of so many players and there are way better games out there.

There’s actually been a lot about blade ball so let me clear up some things. First is that people blaming blade ball for copying deflect. And although it is a game like deflect with swords instead and abilities there’s also stuff deflect didn’t do, like did deflect make the Halloween battlepass? No. But two things I’m annoyed about is that blade ball broke and crates didn’t work. Including the robux ones. And after it was patched, they didn’t get refunds and second is the Halloween raffle which sucks because not only do you need to spend atleast 12k on the raffle. The grand prize isn’t that great. Still though I think blade ball is fun and it isn’t really pay2win you can spin for free by saving up pumpkins or getting free raffle tickets.
delusional. what the game should've done is made swords much harder and more rarer to get instead of abilities. Look at MM2, Nikhilis makes most of his robux through his seasonal gun and sword pack which although is expensive, brings him home billions of robux every year. The abilities in MM2 cost in game money and are still free in the sense that u dont have to pay robux, u just have to grind. The only difference is, MM2 wasn't a P2W before as much as it is now, which is why people are made at Blade Ball for making it p2w so fast.
i kinda hated the game for a WAY different reason. They just stole the game design/concept. basc there is a overwatch fan gamemode made in like 2018-2017 called "genji ball", where everybody is genji and needs to deflect a homing orb to the next person, and the similarities are too much, you have double jump, you can dash, and ofc, the deflecting the orb. (it even has the stand off thing)...
The P2W things are also causing the players to get worse and the game to become less fun. Now the only people who play the game are people who use autoclickers and people who suck at the game. This is probably happening because all the good players left because of P2W

Blade ball also makes the skin crates rigged. They basically show you like every single legendary in a line but it spawns a common in a part of the line. If you land in the middle of the legendary and a common they jist give you the common. So what they are trying to do is make the players who are spinning buy more credits or play the game more so they can get a bunch of money. They also make abilities locked because you need to spin more to get the ability. And this youtuber named dvplays technically got scammed because of the misunderstanding about the probabilities to get the ability from the halloween spin. He spent 15k robux just to not get what he wanted but technically he didnt really get scammed because it was his fault for using 15k robux just to get an ability but the game too because the games probability chances in the halloween spin is a bit confusing if you dont read super carefully. Now the best abilities are only obtained from using robux and gambling. The skins are the same too.
blade ball isn't friendly for beginners and new people could be put in servers with people using abilities like rapture and then the noobs still have to grind coins to get abilities, only ways to do so is getting kills and winning, which is difficult for noobs, most people will quit before they actually get good

@@phantom__22783 you dont understand, that is known as a premium revenue farm, developers gain robux from people with premium in there, making the game give you extra stuff for staying longer is fine but enticing players with an entire NPC and rewards for staying in this special area/game is a premium revenue farm, which if i remember correctly is against TOS, for an example all star tower defense has a premium revenue farm for the sole reason of getting well, premium revenue, i dont get why you would need to entice players to go afk to get slight rewards, it is an obvious revenue farm

Here is my take: the gameplay is probably the most frustrating thing about blade ball. It’s just so spammy and this could just be me but I die all the time. I can’t even get to a standoff without dying. The game also gets somewhat repetitive and it’s pretty frustrating to just wait in the lobby for 10 minutes just so a round can end. Besides, I think the game has nothing going for it that makes it actually deserving of hundreds of thousands of players. Like, what is so special about it? The gameplay is awful spamming with only mildly interesting abilities, the graphics are.. average, the mechanics aren’t original like at all, and it is somewhat p2w. Really, I don’t understand why it’s so deserving of so many players. Give that to something like the mimic. The mimic is an amazing horror game with stunning graphics and interesting storyline/ lore (if you know it). However, the game does get repetitive after playing a chapter over and over again, but, at least it has incredibly stunning graphics to make up for the gameplay. Like, it’s super impressive and there is even hair physics. Then again, compare this to blade ball, with basically nothing going for it that is special, unlike the mimic which has stunning graphics (it also is pretty scary. Besides, book 2 chapter 3 will release pretty soon and is said by the creator on discord to have actually well made mazes, and will have more focus on atmospheric horror and jumoscares, and from what I can see from the trailer, there is voice acting and really good animation). Or let’s say, another good game - doodle world. Doodle world has a unique art style and is based on Pokémon. The “pets” are unique, and look just like doodles as the name suggests. It also is pretty fun when you get to know it, there even is pvp and a storyline. Ofc, it has it’s flaws and one of it’s main mechanics get repetitive (chaining), but still, it has something deserving of so many players.
Overall, blade ball has nothing really going for it to make it deserving of so many players and there are way better games out there.
how blade ball should be:
- make wheel spin daily; the good item will be rare anyways.
- make block slightly faster on mobile; no, this isn’t indicating that block should have no cool down, it’s that auto clickers play and you can barely get close.
I think that’s it.
There’s actually been a lot about blade ball so let me clear up some things. First is that people blaming blade ball for copying deflect. And although it is a game like deflect with swords instead and abilities there’s also stuff deflect didn’t do, like did deflect make the Halloween battlepass? No. But two things I’m annoyed about is that blade ball broke and crates didn’t work. Including the robux ones. And after it was patched, they didn’t get refunds and second is the Halloween raffle which sucks because not only do you need to spend atleast 12k on the raffle. The grand prize isn’t that great. Still though I think blade ball is fun and it isn’t really pay2win you can spin for free by saving up pumpkins or getting free raffle tickets.

Look at MM2, Nikhilis makes most of his robux through his seasonal gun and sword pack which although is expensive, brings him home billions of robux every year. The abilities in MM2 cost in game money and are still free in the sense that u dont have to pay robux, u just have to grind. The only difference is, MM2 wasn't a P2W before as much as it is now, which is why people are made at Blade Ball for making it p2w so fast.

basc there is a overwatch fan gamemode made in like 2018-2017 called "genji ball", where everybody is genji and needs to deflect a homing orb to the next person, and the similarities are too much, you have double jump, you can dash, and ofc, the deflecting the orb. (it even has the stand off thing)...

The thing about blade ball is that the abilities don't matter too much. They just help a bit to win. It all comes down to reaction time. So saying its "p2w" is bs. Not to mention that these "p2w" abilities get easily countered by cheap abilities you can earn in an hour (Forcefield, Reaper, Invisibiliy, Super Jump, even Thunder Dash)
I bet you never even tried the abilities. Infinity is way too overpowered, but you don't encounter them often

Blade ball also makes the skin crates rigged. They basically show you like every single legendary in a line but it spawns a common in a part of the line. If you land in the middle of the legendary and a common they jist give you the common. So what they are trying to do is make the players who are spinning buy more credits or play the game more so they can get a bunch of money. They also make abilities locked because you need to spin more to get the ability. And this youtuber named dvplays technically got scammed because of the misunderstanding about the probabilities to get the ability from the halloween spin. He spent 15k robux just to not get what he wanted but technically he didnt really get scammed because it was his fault for using 15k robux just to get an ability but the game too because the games probability chances in the halloween spin is a bit confusing if you dont read super carefully. Now the best abilities are only obtained from using robux and gambling. The skins are the same too.
