- We list the top 10 most expensive stadiums in the world as of 2021. The prices have been adjusted for inflation and currency has been converted, so the ranking might not be accurate after a while. Thanks for watching!
Levi's stadium is the worst "value" stadium. I live 10 miles from the stadium and the main issue is that the land and construction cost here in the Bay Area is so high. That and the team focused so much of their budget into that tower of luxury suites and club area seats. Leaving the exterior and the general seating looking plain and soulless
A tip : you can watch movies at flixzone. Been using them for watching all kinds of movies lately.
@London Keith yea, been using Flixzone for years myself :D
@London Keith definitely, been watching on Flixzone for since november myself :D
God Damn bots
@@zionzechariah9470 Damn, can't wait to not use that scammy site :D
1 and 3 opened during the worst year too.:-(
and Globe Life Park in Dallas.
I remember being from the UK that after Wembley opened it became a bit of a running joke how bad the pitch was. The FA spent money on relaying the pitch a number of times and when that didn't work. They literally dug the entire pitch up and put a Desso Grassmaster hybrid pitch in. Everyone was like they spent all that money on a stadium and the most important part of it the pitch was worse than a non league football stadium.
You left out Montreal's Olympic Stadium, aka The Big Owe. 1,990 percent over budget, its final cost to Montrealers was just over CDN$3.1bn, or about USD$2.5bn.
not really
ATLANTA'S Mercedes-Benz Stadium has The FIRST 360° wrap-a-round VIDEO SCREEN, not Sofi Stadium. They got the idea from Mercedes Stadium.
Does it have a three star emblem that pops up on the roof?
You should do new US Stadiums
The glass walls of the stadium can be opened, and it has the largest 3D printed object on earth.
Allegiant Stadium and SoFi Stadium both have translucent roof panels.
At&t Stadium too...
Also Levi stadium is built next to an amusement park California's great America. The city doesn't let it operate on game days (no sending the kids there while you catch a game)
MetLife Stadium: The success of that building alone gives it great value. The proven grand comfort fans love will keep it successful. LED home team lights gives it a duel identity. It's the most underrated venue in the U.S.
You left out the big O in Montreal which cost 2 billion in 70s dollars
The Barclays center was the first to have an oculus screen
Olymic Stadium in Montreal cost CA$1.4 billion ... in the 1970s unfinished, with roof completed later...that's CA$3 billion to CA$4 billion US$2.3 billion to US$3 billion..the Quebec government finished paying it off 30 years after the 1976 Olympics
8 dislikes are Tottenham fans
some of these expensive stadiums are just...barf. great video!
Where is the Olympic stadium from montreal??
You say it wasn't a wayward hooligan who shot the old Spurs cockerel, but I would say that Paul Gascoigne is definitely a wayward hooligan, he just happened to be a hooligan who could play football well.
And a decent shot apparently.
He needs to pick his voice up I get people interested
No man, it adds character
“Betterness”
NBA Clipper's Intuit Dome costs $1.8 Billion
European love their covered seating. Americans like to play their football outside
For that price they shouldnt be left watching the Jets eather
6:54 "This stadium has almost everything"... except for a good team playing in it. At least the Chargers do look good.
Levi and Met-life look terrible, however the the new Rams and especially the Raiders Stadium are quite sexy.
MetLife is ugly from the outside but not that bad inside. It's utilitarian but the sightlines are good and that's what really matters. The cost is hard to fathom until you see some of the VIP areas, which I've managed to get into for small events, but not actual NFL games. In the end it's pretty clear that's where all the money went. I would contrast that with Yankee Stadium, which also had most of the money go to maximizing the VIP experience but which actually has worse sightlines for general seating than the old stadium.

Wow #10 stadium i thought it was just a generic stadium in fifa 21 on fut but its actually real and cool looking and this is y I like fifa it always has unique and quirky stadiums
Pretty sure almost every stadium in fifa are real if not all

49ers levis stadium
SoFi Stadium didn't cost $5.5 billion. That's the entire 350 development cost. It's probably $2 billon of the budget for the entire development. The new headquarters for NFL studios is included in that development.
Met life Stadium was a poorly planned for NYC/NJ stadium for 2 football franchises.
An NFL team needs only its stadium 8 days a year, so I'd sooner say they should all just share one.
AT&T stadium is still the most impressive
I think SoFi, but Dallas def top 3 behind the Raiders
It's not anymore. Will be lapped by about 5 in a year.
Santiago Bernabeu will be in 2023.
I toured AT&T in 2019 and was blown away by how amazing it was. I am hoping to tour the new Las Vegas stadium next month and see how it compares!
Not with the east west orientation
And how much of these prices is paid for by the tax payers???
sofi was surprisingly 100% privately financed which is good considering how hard it is to get taxpayer money to go towards any public developments here in LA
Why Don't NFL stadiums have covered seating
Because the elements add to the atmosphere
Whichever one The Queen likes the most, is my favorite.
That would be Royal Ascot. !
Would Tottenham fans really want that on their roof lol
Read up on the significance of the Hotspur.
