    Just passed my TEAs exam this morning and I was so nervous! I did great in all sections from studying only your videos/ guides/ and studying all the science vocabulary you went over. I had 0 knowledge of A&P before I started studying 3 weeks ago and have been out of college for 5 years. Thank you so much for these amazingly detailed study guides and review questions! 🤗🤗

      Congratulations on passing your TEAS exam! That's a huge accomplishment, especially considering you've been out of college for a while and started from scratch with A&P just three weeks ago. It's incredible how much you've achieved in such a short time, and it really speaks to your dedication and hard work.
      I'm thrilled to hear that the videos, study guides, and review questions were so helpful for you. It's always great to know that these resources are making a real difference for students.
      Now that you've conquered the TEAS, you're one step closer to your goals in the healthcare field. Remember to take a moment to celebrate this big achievement - you've earned it! Wishing you all the best as you move forward on your journey. Keep up the amazing work, and thanks for sharing your success story! 🌟📚🎉👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️🤗

    Just wanted to say thank you, nurse Cheung 💗 I watched your videos over & over again and scored a 73 on the TEAS yesterday! Unfortunately, I don’t think anything could’ve prepared me for the science section..it was so detailed & difficult. If not for that section my score would be been well into the 80s! 😊😊

      Congratulations on your TEAS score! I'm so glad to hear that my videos were helpful in your preparation. The science section can definitely be challenging, but it sounds like you still did really well overall. Don't worry too much about the score, focus on celebrating your achievements and using this experience to learn and grow. Keep up the good work!

    I bought the course. The ATI study guide didn't show anything about chemical reactions which is oddddd. They also don't include nearly as many practice test. They selling point is the smart prep, but idk if it was really worth the $200. smh. lol. Thank you for the video I am enjoying the video and the course!

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  4 місяці тому +1

      I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the video. It's really valuable to get feedback on different resources, as it helps tailor your study approach to what works best for you. It's a bit surprising to hear about the gaps in the ATI guide from ATI themselves, especially regarding chemical reactions, considering how comprehensive it's meant to be. As for the practice tests, they can indeed be a crucial part of preparation, offering insight into where you stand and what areas need more focus.
      It's important to find materials that give you the best return on that investment in terms of understanding and confidence. Remember, there are many paths to success on exams like the TEAS, and combining different resources, like the course you've taken and other available study materials, including videos like mine, can provide a well-rounded preparation. You're on the right path, and I'm cheering you on all the way!

    Wait the kidneys DON’T make urine? There’s no way that’s true, I was taught in physio that filtering plasma to produce urine is one of their primary functions. If you google “do kidneys make urine” everything says the kidneys DO make urine. I’m so confused

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  6 місяців тому

      Hi Connor. Can you refer to which question you need clarification on so I may provide some feedback.

  • @nrivera0717
    @nrivera0717 9 місяців тому +5

    I really dislike the whole two options are correct but one is “more correct” it’s seems so counterintuitive to punish someone for still choosing a technically correct answer. (Also my A&P professor and I disagree that kidneys do make urine, it’s a byproduct of filtration yes but saying the kidneys don’t make urine is arguing semantics, questions like those should be on the test imo

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  9 місяців тому +1

      Hey there! 🌟 I totally get where you're coming from, and it can be frustrating. Welcome to the world of nursing school, where all of the answers might be correct, but only one is the most correct. The ATI TEAS and many other standardized tests in healthcare use this approach to develop critical thinking skills. It's all about evaluating the best possible action or response in a given situation, a skill that's essential for healthcare professionals, especially nurses.
      Regarding the kidney and urine debate, I understand your perspective. It's indeed a matter of semantics and how one perceives the function of the kidneys. Remember, exams like the TEAS are there to challenge and prepare you for future scenarios in your nursing career where decisions often aren't black and white. Hang in there, and keep pushing forward! Your ability to think critically and discern nuances will serve you well in your future nursing endeavors. 🩺💪😊🌈 Keep the feedback coming; it's all part of the learning journey! ✨📚🙌

      @@NurseCheungI still don’t understand how they don’t make urine. Urine is what comes out of the kidneys. Their primary function is filtering the blood to produce urine.

    What are the key differences between the two?

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  4 місяці тому +1

      Choosing between enrolling in Smart Edition Academy and downloading my Complete ATI TEAS V7 Study Guide depends on your study preferences and needs. Smart Edition Academy offers a more structured course format with interactive elements, which can be great if you prefer guided learning. The course offers video lessons, practice questions, flashcards, resources and study sessions.
      On the other hand, my Complete ATI TEAS V7 Study Guide is a comprehensive resource that you can download and study at your own pace. It's packed with detailed information, practice questions, and tips tailored to help you understand and master the material. This option might be better if you prefer self-study in a digital download format.
      The key differences lie in the format and how you like to learn. If you enjoy interactive courses, Smart Edition might be the way to go. If you prefer self-directed study with comprehensive materials at your fingertips, then the Complete Study Guide would be a great choice. Both are excellent resources, so it really comes down to your personal study style.

      It sounds like you’re gearing up for another try, which takes courage! Diving back into study mode, especially for the science section, can be tough, but you’ve got this. Try focusing on the areas that were most challenging last time, maybe using different resources or study methods that might clarify those tricky parts. Remember, each question you practice and every topic you review brings you closer to your goal. Good luck tomorrow! You can do this! 🍀
