I’m not a fan of black or dark interiors. I think the lighter gray is nice as it just gives the interior a brighter, roomier feeling. Thanks for showcasing the difference. Your attention to detail is appreciated. I’d be interested in seeing what the gray/green interior looks like. I presume some of the black area on top of the dash in the gray interior is green instead.
I like the lighter gray in the smaller vehicles such as the Kona because it gives it that roomier feeling, but for the Tuscon, i think i prefer the darkest option.
Hello, thank you for this video, it's excellent! 👌 What do you think about the grey interior in combination with two young children? Will I regret this?
I had a choice between the black or grey interior when I was leasing my 2023 Tucson Limited. I chose the black interior as thought it would look better with the Shimmering Silver Exterior.
Same here. I also leased a 2023 Tucson Limited. I had the choice of Portofino Gray or Shimmering Silver, and both were available with the Gray or Black interiors. The Gray interior is striking due to the contrast, but pitted against any grayish or silver exterior (common to the Tucson) it definitely clashed due to the tan hue that the Gray interior has in person. Silver/Gray doesn’t go very well with tan and that turned me off. Secondly, it’s obviously a larger challenge to keep clean and any imperfections in the leather become more obvious. People have also completely about jeans staining the light leather. Overall, it’s just not the wisest choice.
I had a Portofino Gray Santa Fe prior to my Tucson. I really liked the color. Unfortunately, my dealer did not have any Tucsons in that color coming in so I went with the silver. Which exterior color did you get?
@@FordEnthusiast413 Oh, I got the Portofino Gray. I had never had a gray car, but essentially everything else so I liked the change.. Oddly, I had originally wanted the Calypso red, but they were sold out the day I went in and so happened to get an exceptional deal as it was the last day of the month. Now, I think the Silver and the Portofino are the best choices. But I do like some of the new colors for the 2025’s. Particularly that deep darkish green.
@@Ricky-mo6mvawesome. Portofino Gray is really nice but no longer available for 2025 ☹️However I just saw a new 2025 Tucson in the new blue color and it looked really nice. The green color looks nice as well.
@@CarsMadeSimple I actually went black on black (exterior/interior) on my 2023 Tucson Hybrid... had to special order it anyways, so may as well pick something Hyundai normally doesn't do. I love my rare black on black Tucson.
@@CarsMadeSimpletrue about the brown. Some reviewers have called it a Peanut Butter color interior LOL 😂. Subaru’s Java Brown interior color is a little bit better.
I have not been able to see it in person but should be able to within the next couple weeks. It changes out the dark upper dash/door plastic to a green similar to that found in the Santa Fe Calligraphy beige interior option. I will be sure to film a vehicle with that interior once available!

Yes, it will be the top of the dash and door panels from the looks of it. I will try to film one when available.
Thank you for an excellent video! Bravo

Hyundai: You can get our car's interior in any color you want... as long as that color is Black or Gray.
You're not wrong 😅. The brown interior on the Santa Fe looks nice but not for me as I prefer a slightly darker brown.
