Its like one of those magical 80's songs from my childhood, the ending part. Opeth is on their own plane, all great musicians. Mikael is just a genius.
Pale Communion is the best new era Opeth album. So if you enjoyed IN CAUDA VENENUM, you will love even more Pale Communion. I highly suggest this one next
For me if you listen to the Swedish version of Continuem there's an extra edge particularly at the end.....it's one of the best endings for me....like the Maiden ref!! Agree!
I don't know how familiar you are with the Watershed album (it seems you've only done a live version of The Lotus Eater), but that's an album worth doing an another full listen to. One of Opeth's best and more underrated.
Hi Jim! I sincerely hope you where able to attend one of their Uk gigs supporting the new album! The London Palladium concert was simply amazing & special (and I was lucky enough to see them live 12 times) ✌️
The ending of All Things Will Pass gets me every time.

I'll check it out!
@@JimNewstead happy 😊 I think you will not regret
The last track is so good I want the next album now!
hopefully we will have a new album, after "in cauda venenum" i want more haha, but mike said this "could" be the last one, hopefully not!!
All things will pass is like a darker Folklore......Love it
The Swedish line in Continuum goes something like:
"It's just a new day, nothing out of the ordinary has happened."
Poison is in the tail indeed. That last song on the album is just so beautiful.
btw, continuum is my favorite song it's great i can't belive jim doesn't like it. to each their own but, it's amazing imo.
Opeth has covered "Remember Tomorrow" a long time ago...nowadays it's a bonus track from their stellar prog. black metal classic record MAYH.
Leaving a like isn't enough
THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING
thanks for recording your reaction tho

@@kristiankrastanov5995 whats the difference? Is it just the lyrics or are there instrumental differences?

SirRunk Agreed.

not for all. Genious album 💿
One of my favorite album endings of all time, along with Dream Theater’s Metropolis SFAM, and Opeth Deliverance.

mrbozohead couldn’t agree more! Love the album, for me personally it’s flawless ✌️
Dream theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence disk two
The Faceless - Autothiest Movement part 1 to 3
Carcass - Heartwork
Thanks again :)
:) me again! This is good!
Wanna a treat? Listen to Haken's "Visions"
I thought of heaven and hell from black sabbath for the last track
This will be an unpopular opinion, but Dave Grohl would do a pretty good cover of this song, if his band mates can keep up with the instruments.
