    Let's suppose I got a pre existing disease which I myself am not aware while buying the policy. Let's also suppose the max waiting period for that disease is 3 years. So if I get hospitalized/treated coz of the same after 4 years, will the insurance company still reject my claim as I didn't 'mention' it in application or will it be fine as I already by then have crossed the waiting period?

      Sir, pre existing disease is something which is known prior to the buying policy. Something that you are aware of and are taking treatment of the same.
      Anything which is not known does not count as PED.
      Anything which is PED and not disclosed will not be automatically assumed to be covered after the PED waiting period is over.It needs to be disclosed if known.

      Sir, Firstly it is advisable to take base policy and super top up policy from the same insurer so as to avoid any delays in claims as once the claim for base sum assured is done, the top up company requires claim settlement letter and other documents to take the claim further.
      If it is from the same company, it helps.
      Better to take both policies from Aditya Birla - platinum enhanced + super health top.up
      Or
      Max bupa reassure + health recharge.

    I need to apply for post hospitalization unable to do it from the app and I need annual health checkup and I need to cancel the Top-Up plan I am going to do my complaint to irda an app it is showing no records found unable to apply what should I press hospitalization category or cash or fix benefit category which I didn't receive during hospitalization

      Pre existing diseases are the ones which are known to the policy holder before buying the policy.
      If BP is diagnosed after 1 year, the insured must have consulted doctor when he/ she got diagnosed with BP and medications would have been started on doctor's prescription.
      At the time of claim, insurance company will ask for doctor consultation / prescription paper. If the same is available, there will be no issues at the time of claim.

    Mam, if my income in last 3 yrs is 15 lakh per annum and I have purchased term plan according to my income and age , I select 5 year premium mode and 35 year term,I have paid my all premiums. and if after some yrs my income become less than 15 lakh, then at the time of claim my claim will clear or not??

      Sir, Financial underwriting is done at the time of buying the policy.
      After that, if the income increases or decreases it doesn't impact the policy or claims in any way.

    I have a customer in 2019 I gave him a Max Bupa's Health Companion Insurance and in the month of May this year he has claimed for covid but he is facing some problem in claiming reimbursement in the policy, please help me

    Universal sompo general insurance company kir policy 2 sal se chal rahi thi par ,esi sal April me policy holder ko covid 19 ho gaya. So ham log ne reimbursement ke jariye claim kiya aur aisme Sara document jo company ko chahiye tha world Sara diya ,par un logo ne Tamara 60% claim settled kiya , aur reason me Corona guideline ko thehraya, mene kafi bar complaint kiya par un logo ki tarafse koi shirt reply nahi mila, apki tarfse koi help ho saki he to please kijiye madam .

      @mayur jee, there are certain govt guidelines according to which Covid claim is being settled.
      The deduction happened because there is a maximum capping per day for Covid hosptalisation.
