Who can compare to this woman? As an 80's kid from Europe, my first introduction to Cher was as an actress. I saw her on TV in the movie Mask. Some time later I found out that she was also a singer.
Not many kids my age cared about Cher in Europe then. She didn't become popular with the kids here until Believe.
But my point is that she is so talented, so unique and so hilarious on twitter that we should take a moment and appreciate this amazing human being while we have her. Also, now I live in London but never know when she's here until it's too late! Not that I'd dare say anything to her anyway. LOL Except maybe: I admire you, Cher!

She is extraordinarily beautiful. She mentioned Yma Sumac in a recent interview and that was very impressive. She's a very cultured woman who knows her stuff.
Cher is an inspiration to be what you want to be, have an open heart even to those who hurt you AND guard and stand up for yourself. I remember when critics said without Sonny she couldn't sing. Then she did movies and critics said she couldn't act to go to back to singing. She has proved she is good at both.
