Scones are not hard at all. They are soft and fluffy and you eat it with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Usually eaten at afternoon tea.
The 4 piece meal, classic, mashed potatoes and gravy, strawberry Fanta. A apple pie on the side. Cee got a old soul. She rocking back and forth and it looks regular to her.
Yayyy just made my Sunday evening 2 hours left before new yearsss!❤🎉
The burger or sandwich debate is different for different people.
I am not from the UK or the US. But where I am from, it's a burger if it has the burger buns and it's a sandwich is it has sliced bread.
Doesn't matter what the protein is. It's the bread that determines whether it's a sandwich or a burger.
Its not much of a debate. A burger is a minced patty made from anything, even vegetables. A sandwich is just anything between two slices of bread. Be it a roll, a bun, a bagel, or a standard loaf. A burger is a type of sandwich. They arent separate things. One of the original burger recipes in america is a beef patty served on standard sliced bread.
@@nullakjg767 oh the debate is well and truly open. American culture clearly doesn't dominate every part of British life. Shamlessly taken from wiki:: In Britain, the British Sandwich Association defines a sandwich as "any form of bread with a filling, generally assembled cold", a definition which includes wraps and bagels, but excludes dishes assembled and served hot, such as burgers."
@@t-evans Weird. So when you change the temperature of a sandwich, its no longer considered a sandwich? A lot of sandwiches in america are served hot. Monte cristos, cubans, pulled pork, schnitzel sandwiches, philly cheese steak, chicken sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, any type of melt or panini. Even cold cuts are almost always toasted for texture and to melt the cheese a little. But yeah no one in would say any of those arent sandwiches. Thats why its not a debate.
Chicken dipped in mashed potatoes amd gravy is a southern thing, we always be mixing up foods and eating foods together. 😚🤌 I can go in on a whole bucket of chicken tenders and a side of gravy
Burgers, i assume, come from hamburger, which is classically ground beef, or other ground proteins. I think thats why we as Americans find it weird to consider a piece of chicken breast to be a burger. Its a sandwich. Like, even the brits wouldnt call a deli sliced meat sandwich a burger...
If you mince the chicken and form it into a patty its a chicken burger, although americans generally refer to them as "chicken patties" as slang because when grilling youd ask if they want a chicken patty or a beef patty. Chicken salad, sliced deli chicken, whole chicken breast/thigh. Youd call it sandwich. If you put beans on toast on a bun I think brits would call it a "bean burger".
But a patty melt is ground beef and y’all call it a sandwich. You also have chopped cheese sandwich which is ground beef too. So, I feel like there’s holes in that definition. To us burger vs sandwich depends on the bread. A bun makes it a burger.
@@jadebruce4091 as an American tbh I've never known where to place a patty melt those things are confusing lol
@@jadebruce4091 All burgers are sandwiches, not all sandwiches are burgers. The patty melt is probably the only example and im not even sure thats an official term. But according to the wiki for it, "The patty melt is a variant of the traditional American cheeseburger" is the first thing it says.
Can yall also react to them trying american cereal, thanks giving dinner and americans trying british snacks all of the kids food vids are funny lol
I don't dip my chicken into mash and gravy unless i have to.. if the chicken is dry, it's going right in and ima use the gravy as the sauce if i don't have an alternative
lol we got a popeyes in 🇬🇧
Chicfila Mac and Cheese is my favorite. A lot of british people seem to really dislike mac and cheese. I wonder if its because they use the wrong cheeses or something. Apparently they dont make cheese sauces and something like queso is completely foreign to them.
They just opened one in Scotland and it’s disgusting. Dry burnt hard biscuits stale Mac cheese no flavour nothing on anything.
@@Soph-ts9yb Not surprising if its made by scottish people. Cant even get the ingrediants to make it in europe.
dipping chicken joy in gravy is normal here in the Philippines. give it a go.
"awww fried chicken and gravy"
Red Hot Honey! lol
Kfc, when they still had potato wedges were good, but they fell off for me. I prefer popeyes now
kfc in the u.k. had fries way before they introduced them to the states. but it was more like a regular fast food then the batter ones.
