The Clergy, Bishops, Cardinals do not promote the Knights of Columbus. Catholic men run away when they hear the name Knights of Columbus. Blessed Fr. Michael McGivney was a good man. But the insurance program robs Catholics of their money, while offering them a low rate of interest. This is totally unfair.

I've been a Knight of Columbus since the spring of 2009 which was 15 years ago. And now that I'm a current Knight and always remember to renew my membership cards yearly, I feel like that I have a religious right and obligation to find men and ask them if they're Catholic and if they are, well I can start recruiting them to join. And as for where I can do it. Well it can happen at a Catholic church that I attend and perhaps it can happen when I'm at work as well. But if I do start recruiting men to join the Knights of Columbus, I have to do it very discreetly and find the right time and place to do it.

My experience with the Knights of Columbus is that it is an old man's club and nothing more.
The Knights of Columbus was established to serve a need, but members today have lost sight of that goal.Most members don't participate in the funding of the cause by purchasing insurance from the organization. The Knights of Columbus have fallen so far from their original goals that it could only be considered a joke.
Your probably right. I hope it won’t be the case for me and that I find real brotherhood.

It is a nice old man's club. But read Father Michael McGivney vision of the Knights of Columbus and ask yourself if it lives up to Father Michael McGivney vision. Ninety percent of members are not enrolled in the insurance program and that was a must in Father Michael McGivney time. @@MrMASSEYJONES
