Thanks for the video But I would want to know, what is the phase sequence in this question? And if the phase sequence is changed, would the direction of currents through the phases change, hence affecting the formula for finding the line currents?
@@MichelvanBiezen I cant seem to find the video that you mentioned? I would like to calculate power S, P and Q in an unbalanced delta configuration. I use the line currents feeding the load to calculate complex power using the formula S = V x I. Can I simply extract P and Q from this complex power in rectangular form S = P + Qj (considering it is an unbalanced load)? Any help would be very appreciated. Thank You.
sir we dont have to multiply the line voltage by root 3 to get a phase voltage then we can start to calculate those phase current or there is no need of that if its a unbalance system?? help sir im confused now because it a deltar connection
Ib = Ibc - Iab = (-13.75 -j23.82) - (35.20 +j17.61) = 49.95 -j41.43 ___ 64.51 -140.04*A Should be Ib = Ibc - Iab = (-13.75 -j23.82)) - (35.20 +j17.61) = 48.95 -j 41.43 Does not make a big difference however because you are presenting this it should be accurate
This is the only video that helped with my problem, thank you so much! Subscribed.
Thanks for the video

Thanks for the great video!
I was wondering how did u get the phase angel for current I_b? it needs to be 39 according to my calculations thanks
Hi professor Michel. Can you do more example about unbalanced delta-delta 3 phase system. By using mesh analysis.
Sir, What should we do if load is unbalanced in delta connected load. What are methods of prevention?
You need to change the impedance of one of the branches.
@@MichelvanBiezen How is it possible to change load instantly. It is the consumer behaviour.
Thanks a lot Biezen
Glad it helped.
Excellent . Thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Glad you find these videos helfpful. 🙂
Where does the unbalanced current go if there's no neutral like a star connection?
how to calculate total power at unbalanced three phase load
I think that is covered in the latter videos?

is this calculation correct if you have a power source that's also in Delta?
Hello what if it has a transmission line, where should I add this?
Can you tell how to calculate branch current of symmetrical components
Sir how to calculate the total power
what if given is only the impedances of Ia and Ib only?

That is in case of star connection only.
no u can use that formula only in balanced circuit
#shiyadh u wrong bro
Thanks
Welcome
Sir you have solved my problems with typ of questions I like your way of teaching thank you so much 😊 😀 for your help ❤
You're welcome!
Thank you..
You're welcome
Super sir
Mistake in Ib
What is the error?
Ib = Ibc - Iab = (-13.75 -j23.82) - (35.20 +j17.61) = 49.95 -j41.43 ___ 64.51 -140.04*A
Should be
Ib = Ibc - Iab = (-13.75 -j23.82)) - (35.20 +j17.61) = 48.95 -j 41.43
Does not make a big difference however because you are presenting this it should be accurate
I have learned a lot from your presentations
Thank you
Thank you for the correction.
@@MichelvanBiezen thank you for taking the time to present this material very helpful
Thanks Sir For ur Help! You Are Awesome...
