- This an old school BMX 1984 Mongoose Californian racing bike bicycle from the early 1980's. This bike is in survivor condition which means it has not been refinished, refurbished, or restored.
Well, apparently there was a lot of people waiting for this bike to get posted because it just sold. I would like to thank everyone for their interest, and I will be posting more bikes shortly.

I just picked up this very same bike on Friday from a pawn shop of all places and let me say the bike was extremely undervalued. I believe it was made in Japan it came with black 20" Z Rims Lee Chee brake calipers and levers Tange forks all in incredibly immaculate condition all chrome. I'm thinking of breaking it up and piecing it out maybe it would bring the value up some? I'd like to put the money towards my dream build!

Beautiful bike looks to be all OG and in pretty good shape unfortunately gunna be tough to get a buyer for the complete bike at a good price might be better to part it out rims are worth the modt
I didn't even think about doing that. That is a great suggestion ! Perhaps a bit more work but after doing a few searches you are 100% correct in your observation.
