The census is over 18 months old. Over 1 million people came to the UK in the last 12 months. It's a lot worse than what the census figures are showing.

I miss my old London, I was born in London in 1954 we were poor but felt safe. We moved to Devon in 1998, have visited a few times but London is know longer a safe place to be. It now feels like another country, we are now getting more and more illegal immigrants in our part of Devon I hope it doesn't turn into a violent foreign place like London. My town has had an exponential influx and expansion of Pakistani, Indian, African and people from the Middle East. I feel like a foreigner in my own town and am saddened as I see it destroy the very fabric of the town centre (it's empty as they don't shop in 'our' shops), social cohesion hangs by a thread and white flight is accelerating. I too will leave as soon as I can as I see trouble ahead.

I was born in London just after WW2, my husband was the same. In 2012 after both retiring we decided that we could no longer stay in the City of our birth. We left to live out of London in a community full of people like us, white flight is a real thing. I am glad that I am old and will not be around to see this wonderful country sink deeper into the mire.

I fear that in a few short years the UK will cease to exist as we know it and have known it. I can’t say that I’m looking forward to it. Life feels very uncomfortable even now. The poorest areas are being bombarded with migrants, it’s always been like this. The affluent areas have been shielded thus far but I think this is going to change. Only the very wealthy will hide behind their gated properties. Heaven help us
It will get much much worse. Just thinking ahead and all wonderful things that we have preserved and represent out culture will gradually fall into decay as immigrants have no attachment or do not realise their cultural significance. Historical buildings will decay and be demolished, the historic ships will deteriorate, does a immigrant have any attachment to HMS Victory or Cutty Sark ?, the steam engines like Mallard and Flying Scotsman will become rusting relics. The countryside will stop resembling what we enjoy now. Our preserved industrial heritage will gradually disappear, preserved railways and museums will start to close as the pool of volunteers get smaller and smaller. Inner City Parks will become dangerous places. The protection than affords buildings will erode allowing a free for all on developments so that the beautiful Victorian, Georgian and Medieval streets will become a mish mash of styles.
Might start a gate building firm.

Funny how inclusivity is promoted so we are all supposed to live together as one nation but once certain groups establish a foothold they create their own exclusive areas which then put their people into Council positions to serve their friends.
As an American, I will admit when I first watches this I thought, wow that seems a bit racist. However, there is a point that's valid after I remembered my visit to Norway. I'm not saying they're not progressive but I truly enjoyed seeing and being around their culture that is long standing.
