I remember traveling with Mam Ria around SA in 2018/19 doing workshops about the long-overdue Women's Football League. One word she said to me was "I don't like it when young people work for free" that's how generous she was to me and the other group of young people I was with at that time.

You sometimes question the motives of some people and how they entered into football for selfish reasons, wrapped in a lot of corruption. I (just like you) want to see our country compete on the world stage without placing people in power who do not share the collective interest of seeing SA football grow to where it needs to be. We've seen this happening too much in our domestic game to a point where we have made accepting mediocrity cool.
