It's a video editor. Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline-modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation.

Solidworks has also simulation (fluids, mechanics), electrical, PCB, plastic mold optimisation, project management... but not surfaces simulation, unlike Catia, which is apparently also more suited for bigger companies and bigger teams and aerospace (I mean... no need of Catia to design and simulate mechanics of a fork). A side note: better write Dassault systems rather than dassault Systems.
